With The Secret Heir, Siobhan Davis continues her sci-fi, new adult romance series where Victoria (Alinthia) King has now fully embraced her alien roots and is determined to control her powers in order to save the galaxy with the help of her four gorgeous protectors.

But while her enemies lie in wait, she’s not only struggling with her training under Maddox’s watchful eye, butting heads with Dane, trying to appease Coop’s jealousy, and coaxing Becket out if his shyness, she’s also dealing wi
My Rating: 4.5 Stars

She is a teen, one awakened to her destiny and the truths of who she is and what the galaxy expects of her. Not only is Tori in unchartered territory, she has found four handsome young men who are each a part of her very soul, each owning a piece of her heart, each very different, each aliens raised to belong to her, with her.

Now Tori must deal with the visions she has, are they an inescapable future? Will she doom her protectors and all who are dear to her? When will she com
The Lost Savior, the first book in the Alinthia series, failed to wow me in the way I had hoped, and if the comments on my review are any indication I sent the wrong message when trying to explain why I wasn’t blown away by the story. I was unsure as to whether I would give the second book, The Secret Heir, a read, but in the end my curiosity won out. With a little bit of luck, I’ll do better explaining why I’ve yet to be blown away by this series.

In truth, my feelings towards The Secret Heir we

The Secret Heir starts off right where The Lost Savior ends and continues on with this great plot line. Again, this series is a paranormal/sci-fi reverse harem and if you have never read anything within this genre (reverse harem), you are definitely missing out on some great stories.

Tori is coming to grips with her identity and her powers. As she is training with Maddox, she is trying to learn more about everything from Dane but ends up butting heads with him more than anything. On top of that,

I remember writing my review for The Lost Savior (Alinthia #1) and hoping I'd get more insight in the entire universe Siobhan Davis created. I'm happy to say I got just that with this novel. We're indulged in the history, we get to know more about what happened all those years ago and there are some new characters introduced to us.

There are some twists and turns I did and din't see coming, which kept me on the edge of my seat and made me want to read and read and read.

How do I write my review? I feel like I’m an emotional wreck!

Don’t mistaken my anxiousness. I LOVED the book. I actually want to pick it up and read it again. Even with all its emotion and angst. Oh, I thought I was going to turn inside out at times. But I love these characters. That’s the thing!! I ADORE THEM!!! So when they’re dealing with so much, I’m falling apart!!

This second installment of the Alinthia series really brought Tori (Alinthia) close

Get swept away in the Alinthia series. This sci-fi romance has completely captured my attention. It is the perfect binge read.

Tori is struggling to harness and unlock her powers. Her protectors are training with her and working to unleash her full potential. Something is still holding her back.

Her connection with Copper, Maddox, and Beck has grown, yet she and Dane still struggle to find their footing. They butt heads more than they make up. He’s still questioning both her loyalty and her intent

Alinthia just keeps getting more captivating and more complex. What I’m loving most about this series though is Tori’s journey- not only her challenges as she continues to try to figure out who she is and what she can do with her own powers, but how Siobhan is painting that part of herself as a metaphor for some of her own maturing- getting over her own holdbacks, trying to figure out her connection with Copper, Maddox, Beck, and Dane- trying to work through how they fit, how to work together, m

I'm dying you guys.
I don't even know where to begin or what to say to truly explain how much I'm enjoying this story. I mean, it's only book 2 and it's obvious there is much more to come because I mean..you can tell!

I hope this series continues for many more books. Like, double digits. I could read these characters forever.

As usual, I NEVER include any type of spoilers with my reviews because I can't stand them! So as I try to always state, this is a spoiler free review. I mean, I d

The Secret Heir was a phenomenal continuation to the Alinthia Series. Once you think the plot is going one way, Siobhan throws in one of her trademark curveballs and everything you thought you knew about the characters has changed. I had such an amazing time reading this, and I promise you will too.

Again, I loved how each of the guys had their time with Tori, from innocent and sweet to hot and steamy. I did not find any to be favored over the others which resulted in me adoring each one just as

Tori knows who she is (Alinthia), knows her history (alien princess), and knows what she is supposed to accomplish (save the world). The problem is she has no idea what to do! She can't control her powers, she's worried about her visions and dreams, she has doubts, she has guilt, she has regrets. She's keeping secrets. Her bonds with Coop, Maddox, and Beck are deepening but Dane is keeping his distance. He doesn't trust Tori and has his secrets too. This is threatening the bond. And while the en ...more

Tori has a lot on her plate, be it learning she is really an alien bound to four (hot) strangers who want to protect her, being the chosen one to save humanity, typical high school drama, her father's death, oh and the vision she had that she may be the destruction of the four brothers she has come to love. Tori wants nothing more but to be who the guys think she is, but she has doubts and when a new person shows up that Tori can't even try to com

I love how the writing of Ms. Davis can instantly transport me to whatever world she has created and help me lose myself in it. I can forget my "real world" problems and just relax into a tale that's woven so creatively that I can quite honestly forget where I am.

I've never really been a big fan of Sci-Fi romance and alien type stories, but ever since the first book I've read by Siobhan Davis, I've been converted. She writes this world so well that it seems possible and even plausible. I love he

It is hard to write a review of this without having a spoiler, so I am only going to write about what I liked and didn't like about this book.

What I liked:

While Siobhan Davis classifies this book as "reverse harem" I don't think of it that way. I find reverse harem books frustrating. The guys are always clueless and the girl is every guy's fantasy. I always say "girl...just make up your mind! and "guys...no girl is perfect!". This book is different. Tori and the guys have a symbiotic relations
If you are looking for a book that is packed with action and some romance then I would recommend this book to you.

These books really work on the connection between Alinthia and her protectors which I love because it really feels like the love connection is building in a great way that is not to quick but not to slow all at the same time while also adding a nice alien twist.

This book picks up right where the last left off and now Alinthia also known as Tori continues to train with her protector

This is the second book in the Alinthia series and oh wow the twist, turns and general freak outs keep you reading. I completely lost track of time reading this book because I did not want to put it down. This author has always found ways to surprise me in every series she has written. I totally wish that I was a fly on the wall of the authors work space as she writes the third book, I do not want to wait !!! But alas I must!!! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

The Secret Heir is book 2 of the Alinthia series by Siobhan Davis and is the continuation of Tori’s story along with Cooper, Beck, Dane and Maddox.

Siobhan Davis has done it again. This is a great addition to her new RH series and she keeps the readers on the edge of their seat as she gives us plot twist after plot twist. Just when I thought I'd got it figured out and knew what was coming next, she'd throw in a surprise that had me gasping or my stomach dropping. Despite having read several of Si

One head turning read!!!

What a tangle web we weed when we practice to deceived!!! This is the lesson that Alinthia/ Tori and her protectors had to leaned the hard way. The second book in this series takes us on a wild journey of trust, forgiveness, true evil and betrayal. I really enjoyed this second book in the series. The relationships are complicated but passionate and loving. The MC is strong and honest and loves all her guys. I cannot wait for the next book!
Soaring Up High

I have received a copy which I have voluntarily reviewed. The Secret Heir is the amazing sequel to The Lost Savior. I throughly enjoyed reading this book and it is even better than the previous one.

TSH picks up right after the TLS. That giant cliffy in book one had me wanting more. Things about Tori's past and her true nature are revealed. However, the true villans are really shown in this book and play a bigger role.

Wonderful writing. Interesting storyline. I love Siobhan Davis' take on alien species, and I can't wait to read more! I'm enjoying the reverse harem aspect, and am really looking forward to seeing that storyline progress. I liked getting POV's from the 4 boys, the story is mainly told in Tori's POV, but it's great to get those chapters from the boys. There's some action in this book, and I absolutely love battles, so that was awesome! I'd love more of that!

My first question is, why did I wait so long to read this series?

My second question is, where can I get four hot protectors for myself?!

Tori’s life changed completely in only a moment.

Having planned out her future with boyfriend Jensen, she was looking forward to walking her path until the day she and her friends were attacked by an alien bounty hunter and then four smoking hot guys showed up at her school.

Feeling intensely drawn toward and turned on by them in equal measure, Tori eventually l

I think the best indicator of an author's ability to draw you into a book is how bereft you feel when you finish it. I actually groaned at the end of this one!!! The Secret Heir continued to build up the story and really set up Alinthia's blossoming as a warrior princess in the next stage. I loved the first book and was dying to read book 2, but I'm back to the dying stage now waiting for book 3 and the real alien ass-kicking to start!

I was really lucky to read a BETA version of this book.

Reverse Harem is a new genre for me, but I was willing to try it because I love all of Siobhan's work. I'm really glad that I took the risk, because I loved the first book in this series, just like I love all of her work. I was so upset when the first one ended. I just wanted the rest of the story and I wanted it right there and then!

I was really excited for book 2, The Secret Heir. As always, Ms. Davis did not disappoint. I love her writin

The latest book in the Alinthia series blew me away! I had to take a few days to process how I feel. The Author deftly weaves action, and mystery into this growing romance. Alinthia and her men experienced significant growth and movement in their relationship, but for every step forward, there were two steps back to their progress. The characters never really get a chance to rest in this book, as there are unknown entities working behind the scenes to undermine them at every turn. They still get ...more

oh, wow! I am hooked; can't wait to see how this all plays out! I always love Ms Davis's work and The Secret Heir is no exception! I find it incredibly engaging and, as usual with her stories, extremely well written. The plot is exciting and action-packed; the protagonists are likable and really easy to root for! Alinthia is constantly facing new challenges as twists and turns are thrown into her path; she just keeps rising to the occasion and finding ways to do what she needs to do. I find it i ...more

Wow!! even more action packed than the first book. If you haven't read book 1, you MUST read it first or be completely lost. it's definitely worth the read!! This book is filled with even more mystery, action, surprises and oh so many confusing twists and turns. Confusing to Alinthia and the guys that is. Who is friend and who is foe? After losing her father, Tori/Alinthia's world turns on it's head. Can she truly trust the visions she's seen, or the fact she's supposed to
