I really enjoyed this book, written by Paige Patterson in 1983, but still very relevant in our day. He covers all of the various issues that Paul addresses in his letter to the Corinthians quite well. He does have an interesting take on the gift of tongues, and on some points I agree with him, but I feel he did at times speculate on his exposition of the Tongues issue. Having said that, I still believe this is a great commentary and I found it very edifying in my devotional readings each day. This letter written by Paul to the Corinthians really has a direct application for the church of today and Paige Patterson really helped me understand it better and I am excited to read more from this author and great Christian leader.
