This is two interconnected books under one cover.
Off Limits is Abby & Dane's story. Dane has had a bad experience that cost him several years of his freedom and now he is looking for his 2nd chance. Its while he is working for a politician he comes across Abby and knows that he wants this woman. He wants her badly even though he has been told she is off limits. Abby is out to help the politician, her father, yet she hates being up in front of the people, paraded in of them for votes. Yet things change when she meets Dane. Their ups and downs on this journey is stuff hot romance is made of. Will they get the HEA? Only way to find out is to read their love story.
No Limits - This is a story about Shawnie and Rafe. This is a dark romance read and the bedroom action is sexually hot and steamy. We first met them in Off Limits. It is so nice to read their story now. Rafe doesn't think he deserves someone like Shawnie and Shawnie thinks she is so far broken to have a normal relationship with a hunk like Rafe. Will they be able to admit they need each other and open up and let each other in their lives? Will they have the HEA they deserve?
Both stories were fantastic, they were so hot and intriguing reads, that I couldn’t put them down. With both stories - the chemistry is explosive, there is plenty of twist and turns and the connections the main characters had was instant. I recommend this book as a must read.

So, for Off Limits, it was very instalove, but they had to fight for it. Dane and Abby have a lot to overcome, including her dad and all of Atlanta being against him. There's a crazy twist in this story, but in the end it brings everyone together and it all works out.
Now, for No Limits? OMG this was so insanely good. The writing was impeccable. A story that captures you from start to finish.
Shawnie and Rafe both have pasts to overcome, secrets, and both feel like they are monsters. In the end, who they really are shine through, Master and his Angel.
These are great stories and I love that they are both together.

Crossing the Line is a wonderful tale penned by a masterful author, Lauren Landish.
Patrick Rawlings always worked hard, but also had ambitions to become part of the upper echelons of society. He thought all that was needed was money. To his dismay he found out that he might not ever be fully accepted, even after marrying one of society's darlings, Brittany Worthington. Brittany and Patrick had a good marriage and truly loved one another.
Patrick had a daughter from a previous marriage, Abagail or Abby to her friends. Abigail's mother and older sister were killed in a car crash when she was three years old. Then for the next ten years her father took care of Abby until her found Brittany. Now Brittany and her father are in a happy marriage together. Patrick got access to her society connections and Brittany got access to Patrick's bank account. Abby is happy for them. Patrick dearly wants to become an accepted member of the upper echelons of society through his connections with Brittany, and while some doors are now opened to him and he has gained connections, joined the right country and men's clubs, he will never be fully accepted. Brittany is doing her best to raise Abby to be a proper young lady so that she can take her place in society. She frequently reminds her of the proper way to behave and social etiquette.
Abby is now in her final year at Georgia Tech University and is planning on going on to graduate school to become a research nutritionist. Her best friend is from the South Carolina low country. Her name is Shawnie and they are best friends since her freshman year. Shawnie is a physics major and will graduate with honors and be the first member her family to go to college. Years ago for a brief time Abby dated a handsome older boy from a society family. His name was Chris Lake. They parted ways when Chris decided to enlist in the army.
The story open with Patrick, Brittany, and Abagail at a charity dinner. She told Brittany and her father that she had promised to meet Shawnie for the opening of an art show. They have quiet words, but Abby gets up and smoothly, but quickly leaves the building. While walking to meet Shawnie, she gets lost and winds up in a bad neighborhood. She had to leave her phone at home as the tiny purse that went with her dress barely had room for her wallet and a lipstick. Two thugs attack her, and while she is trying to fight them off, she knows it is a lost cause. She just hopes they will not kill her. She is saved by a man who comes to her rescue and within about ten seconds puts both thugs out of commission. He received a bad cut from one of the thugs and Abby insists that they get him cleaned up, either at the ER or since it is closer his studio apartment in a swanky building.
This is how she meets, Dane Bell.
I will leave off the rest of my review because I feel to go further would spoil the full Impact of the story for you. It is a love story with some scary and tragic circumstances. We do get our HEA at the end. The book contains two stories: the first is the story of Abby; the second the story of Shawnie.

Two For The price of One!
This is a brilliant set of two books by that internationally famous author, Lauren Landish. let me tell you that this is Lauren at her very best.
In Off Limits, we meet Dane who is ex military and is just coming out of prison with a dishonourable discharge. He's most certainly down on his luck as who wants to employ an ex con? However, he hears a woman's cries for help and he rushes to see thugs attacking a young woman. he fights them off her and, undoubtedly, saves her from severe injuries if not her life. They go to the flat and she tries to help clean his wounds that he sustained whilst grappling with her attackers. When they get chatting he reveals his past and Abby is disgusted with him. This makes any hope of a relationship very difficult. Abby is being raised by a very strict father who treats her as if she were a teenager and a step-mother who is a social climber and disgusted with Abby's sometimes less than elegant demeanor. We also meet Shawnie who features in No Limits. How Dane and Abby can be together and discover a HEA is a tough road but well worth it. Be ready to be shocked by one big reveal - but no spoilers from me. Just enjoy!
In No Limits, we meet Rafe who is a Professor at the college where Abby and Shawnie are students. Rafe is a product of a research project to make super humans and he almost seems to be 'perfect'. He hires Shawnie as his teaching assistant but does not, initially, know of her tragic past of being kidnapped, raped and left for dead. Both Rafe and Shawnie have such difficult pasts and I couldn't help but feel so much for them and feel invested in them gaining happiness together. But it definitely is not an easy path as there are twists in this terrific plot that just enhance how great a story this is. They find in each other someone that they can open up to and this is the start of their passionate love story. When I say Passionate, it is deliberately with a capital P! Get your fans at the ready as it's STEAM HEAT with these two lovers. I confess that I was perturbed when I first started reading this story, but I carried on and it was so well worth it. A fantastic story!
These two books were an absolutely pleasure to read. There is suspense, mystery, physical attacks, rape, attempted murder, lust, passion, snobbery, protectiveness, caring and, of course, love that overcomes all obstacles. Lauren writes with passion and it's that element that, I think, makes her stories 'come alive'. With the detailed and often slightly 'different' plots and characters that reach your heart so that I feel invested in their story. So well written and every book that I've read of hers has been a must have read and, certainly, ones that I will re-read as they are just so entertaining and characters that I love. Grab this limited addition copy whilst you can!

Ok! This box set was pretty amazing. It contains 2 books. Off Limits and No Limits.
Off Limits is about Abby and Dane. Abby is a daddy's girl and wants to finally be able to live her own life and not be subjected to the social elite her stepmother is trying to force on her. So she does the only thing she can, and that's rebel against what they want from her!
Dane is an ex-servicemen who has been released from military prison for killing one of his own. He's public enemy #1 in Atlanta but he's determined to get his life back on track.
He meets Abby after rescuing her from an attempted rape. They feel an instant connection. And want to see where is can go but her father's forbidden their relationship but that doesn't stop Abby.
There is a twist to this story and it quite tragic and heart stopping, since it happens to both Abby and her best friend Shawnie. I didn't see it coming. I felt for Dane and Abby and Shawnie. They've been through a lot in this book.
No Limits is about Shawnie and Rafe.
Shawnie had moved to California to do her masters in aeronautical engineering. But all is not as it seems for Shawnie. She suffered really bad from her experience and is seeing a counselor for her trauma. But she has this "demon" inside her that controls her sexual appetite but it doesn't make her feel good afterwards.
Rafe is a professor at Stanford university and he is a perfectionist and no one can tolerate him. He's has a past of his own and he believes he's a monster. He hasn't let anyone get to close, ever! That is, until, he sees Shawnie and recognises something familiar in her eyes.
They end up in a sort of relationship and Rafe tries to help Shawnie understand her desires and he wants to help matter her whole again as she thinks she broken.
This was more heartbreaking for me than the first book. Shawnie was so lost and unsure of herself and her self worth. I loved how Rafe built her back up and helped her see who she really was and that there was nothing to be ashamed off.
So yeah, you should definitely pick this box set up. You won't be disappointed in the story line. You'll be cheering on both women for them to have their happy ever afters! It has hot sex, love, HEA, intrigue, suspense, hot alpha males, and strong women!

CROSSING THE LINE
Wow this book was awesome in so many ways. The first story is about Dane and Abby, and what a great story it was. The story was sweet, exciting, and very entertaining. I loved Dane and Abby. What a great couple and so well suited. Now story two, I had a few reservations about because of the storyline. I’m by no means a prude but it was bordering my comfortability in what I like to read about. However, once I started to read it and got past a few things, the storyline was actually pretty fantastic and some ways had more impact on me than book one. We don’t always know how people cope with certain situations or understand their coping mechanisms. And this story is about how Shawnie, who we meet in story one, copes with what happened to her. It’s actually a very enthralling and emotional story, but also one about patience, understanding, hope, and unconditional love. Rafe, is a brilliantly clever guy who has his own demons to slay. He comes across as a tough, domineering, and straight talking man, which he is all three but his also extremely brilliant. And as we get to know him we find out why. Shawnie, is a fantastically bright woman who has been broken and self destroying in some ways due to the trauma she endured. This is how two people come together and learn to love, forgive, and accept themselves and each other. This is a very entertaining and captivating read with two very intriguing stories, and is a definite must read. A copy was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book with my honest opinion.

This is a great set.
Off Limits
He is a hero to her but a killer to others. When Abby meets Dane, they have powerful chemistry His past makes it difficult for them to be together but neither are willing to let go.
It really is a great romance. Abby has always tried to be the good girl and doesn't want to hurt her father. He treats her like a young teenager instead of a senior in college. She knows that Dane is not who the public thinks he is and is willing to take risks to be with him.
Dane did get in trouble as a kid and not put a lot of effort into school but he is not a bad guy at all. He takes responsibility for his actions. He really cares about Abby and doesn't want to cause her any harm. When she needs him, he is there for her.
These two characters are easy to care about. They are kind people. Dane has not been treated right and deserves much better. It is good that they found each other. There is a big surprise you won't expect that will definitely shock you. I am not revealing it.

This author knows how to write a story with a lot of dark elements that still brings hope. The characters have their pain but together they start to heal one another. I really enjoyed the story. The characters are easy to connect to and I think they make a great couple.

This first book is Off Limits. Dane rescues Abby in the park one night when she is being attacked. There is an instant connection and they spend the night together. In the morning it all falls apart when she finds out his history. Dane is trying to make a life for himself after being released from military prison. Over two hundred job rejections and his money running out, Abby is a spark of light in the dark for him. Abby is trying to find her way to adulthood, overprotected by her father and stepmother. Her BFF Shawnie is her only real friend. Shawnie is the voice of reason for Abby and helps Abby move forward. There is a very dark and sad place toward the end.
The second book is No Limits and it is Shawnie's story. After the events of Off Limits, Shawnie is trying to move on and not being successful, doing things that make her hate herself worse. Enter Professor Rafe. He has his own dark story, but nothing compared to hers. He decides to be her safe place to rebound and recover, but it doesn't work out quite the way he hopes due to interference. They have an amazing story of recovering yourself after awful trauma and accepting the darker parts of yourself.

Off Limits
This was the first book I read by this author back in 2016. It was lovely to be in this two complete interconnected standalones.
This book was full of love, tragedy and suspense, I was hooked from the very beginning. It was full of information regarding each character, so you knew everyone. The book is about Dane and Abigail or Abs as Dane fondly calls her., Dane who really is a hero has gone through so much after a tragic accident during his time in the army where he ends up in prison with a dishonorable discharge. When he gets out of prison life is not good for him even after he meets Abby. His friend Chris is not quite the friend he thinks he is, The Abigail is a daddy's girl, has everything and wants for nothing. But its all in a good way. The book drew me in from the beginning and I couldn't put it down I really loved it.

This is a dark romance and was so so great. Professor Rafe Meyers and Shawnie who he hires as his assistant. Shanie is broken but alive, she has a very bad past, Rafe wants to help heal his Angel. This story is so sad it will make you cry but it will make you happy in the end. I received an ARC copy of this book for my honest review. I highly recommend this book.

No Limits was the first book I ever read by this author. I was instantly hooked and have read quite a few of her books since then. Despite wanting to go back and read Off Limits, I just haven't had the chance to do so yet. No Limits and the others I have read were so fantastic that I have no doubt Off Limits will be the same (once I finally get a chance to read it). I have included my original review of No Limits below.

Both characters fall fast for each other without knowing about the other’s past at first.
When Abby finds out about Dane’s past she feels betrayed, disgusted and disappointed…
Then everything escalates really fast…leaving my head spinning and my heart racing...

These are two really great stories. I have previously read them and was excited to read them again!

Two great books in one.
Office Limits: Dane was trying to move on from the mistakes of his past. One night he rescues Abby. Their instant connection was so strong. Two people from two different worlds. They care for each other but is it enough to get past everything keeping them apart? When Dane had to step in and save Abby and her friend, Shawnie from something terrible they learn just what family will do for each other. I enjoyed this one. I am a huge fan of Dane and his willpower to turn his life around.
No Limits: Shawnie went to California broken from the terror of her past. Carrying a demon that made her miserable. When she starts to work for the good looking professor the attraction is instant. Reef wants to help her but will his past and those around them prevent it? I enjoyed this story as they both struggled to conquer their demons, fight those out to hurt them and move on to a HEA. Huge fan of Rafe!

I received this book for FREE TO GIVE MY TRUE & HONEST REVIEW
I loved this book, I had actually read book 2 last year & loved it. So I hadn't read book 1 where we meet students Abby & Shawnie & this book was more to do about Abbey & the Dashing Saviour ex soldier who Saves Abbey. But Without The Pair Of Them Knowing That The Know The Same Person & He Was Abbey's Ex & Dane's Old Army Team Mate Were The Same But He's Not The Man They Thought They Knew. And It's quite an emotional piece of work but Thinking their Story Is fairly emotional, it's Shawnie & professor Rafe Mayers story that is BOTH VERY HOT but heck the emotion that we see from her trauma from the end of book 1 is another DEEP DEEP story in BOTH emotional psychy & BDSM.
I recommend this book or just each individual book. I would give it a higher * rating. It's BRILLIANT BUT do be prepare of the HEAT the PSYCHY & definitely the EMOTION of it ALL

She is upset by what happens but wants to help Dane get cleaned up from the attack so she goes home with him. Dane was release from prison and isn't exactly what her parents want her with but after a steamy night can they really let things go?

Shawnie works as Rafe teaching assistant she's attracted to him but things in her past hold her back from acting on it. Rafe is a very controlled and intelligent man his past has made him what he is. Rafe does some digging into Shawnie's past and discovers things he never expected to find. Everything was working for them both until one night things went beyond professional and they became more to each other. But can Rafe break through Shawnie's defenses for her to see he sees her more than a damaged soul?

Love both these stories
Off Limits
I really enjoyed reading Abby & Dane's story. You can't help feel so bad for Dane and no matter where he went everyone turned there backs on him. But one night he rescues Abby and the instant connection was there. But when Abby learns what happened to Dane she never wants to see him again. But they both can't seem to let go and Dane will do anything to get her back. Great story, there were twist get you didn't see coming which was refreshing.
No Limits
This is a dark read with action and the sex is hot. You can't help but feel for Shawnie after everything she experienced and still does until Rafe comes in and helps her to defeat her demon. Rafe has a past too and together they can get through anything. I couldn't stop reading Shawnie's and Rafe story, it's touching, heartbreaking all in one.

Off Limits - Dane and Abby were from totally different walks of life, but that didn't stop the attraction between them. Although this started as insta-lust, the twists and turns made this into a good steamy suspense story as well. I liked the way things were resolved in the end as well. Steamy and sexy with a good dose of plot twists.
No Limits - I was so pleasantly surprised with the way this book turned out. Not because I didn't think the author could churn out this great book, but because I really enjoyed Shawnie and Rafe's story. Both carrying the burden of the demons in their past, but in completely different and unexpected ways. I knew about Shawnie from No Limits, but as much of a tough bast*rd as Rafe was, he handled Shawnie with care and gave her what she needed, and ultimately, what they both needed. Sexy, hopeful, giving and receiving, so well done!

Off Limits: Lauren Landish did it again! I fell in love with Dane & Abby fast. Dane is a "bad boy" but deep down is a great loyal guy. Abby is your sweet daddy's girl. I was rooting them on from the start. When Lauren creates a bad guy...boy does she ever but it's not who you think it is. This is definitely a book where you keep saying that you'll put it down after the end of the chapter but then you think...I'll read just one more chapter.
No Limits: Now it is time for Rafe & Shawnie. We first met them in Off Limits. It is so nice to read their story now. Rafe doesn't think he deserves someone like Shawnie. Shawnie thinks that she is too broken for Rafe. Can they let each other into their lives? I loved this book also & couldn't put it down.

There were 2 great stories in this one book. I love that Lauren Landish put book 1 and 2 together. The first book, Off Limits was just simply great. All the feelings that we all love in her books along with the suspense just keeps you held in one place reading and turning page after page till the end. In book 2, No Limits, the author deals with several issues that happen in everyday life and she describes it in such a way that the characters are almost live and they are believable. The plot will keep you on the edge of your seat. I must confess I reads this whole 2 book series in one sitting. I would definitely recommend to anyone. I received this book as an ARC and voluntarily chose to review it. This is my honest opinion.

This was a two book set that are connected in one place. The first book I was not in love with as it was an insta-love story that I am not a huge fan of. The characters Abby and Dane were good characters with chemistry but were a bit too sweet for a 'dark' romance labeled book. The plot of their story moved a bit slow for my taste as well making it hard to keep my interest until the end. The second story in this set was much better as Shawnie and Rafe were characters both had damaging pasts that they were able to overcome in an effort to be together. The plot had some twists that I did not expect and it kept me hooked from when I started reading. Overall, I would recommend this book to others.

This box set is awesome boxset, I read these as separate books and I could not put either down, theres plenty of Drama, Action and plenty steamy sexy scenes between Abby & Dane Plus Rafe and Shawnie.

This book (set) was so hot, I can't even contain myself. Lauren Landish is a genius when it comes to writing the hottest, sexiest, Kindle melting stories around. This will certainly keep you up past your bedtime, because, simply stated, you CANNOT put it down. The chemistry is evident from the beginning between the rich girl Abby, and the super hot, super hero bad boy Dane! This sizzling hot story does not disappoint, and really has you rooting for the underdog almost all the way through! Without giving anything away, this is a certain page turner and you will finish up with your HEA and look forward to Lauren Landish's next book.

You can hardly go wrong when you get 2 interconnected books for the price of 1, or even better when they are offered for free with your KU subscription. Both Dane & Abby, and Rafe & Shawnie, are well written, compelling characters. The storylines are great, move quickly, and hold you from start to finish. Great read !!

Okay series
This was a reasonably good series but nothing particularly special, it had the usual hot alpha males and feisty females but nothing to make it stand out from many other romance series. Fairly basic storylines nothing that grabs the attention so a fairly generic read. I usually find Miz Landish books more entertaining

Crossing the Line by Lauren Landish has 2 very HOT stories - both as exciting as the other but with a lot of differences.
