A prince and once-famous general disgraced by accusations of treason and murder. A beautiful princess whose sheltered life suddenly gets entangled in lies, deceit, and a prince’s quest for vengeance. Villains out to ensure they do not get to live another day. Wrongs that need to be set right. A love that is unanticipated, and born at a most inopportune time.

Interesting plot. Strong, dependable, and well-suited hero and heroine. Scenic description of places and events. Neat and clear writing.

Dark Knight is a great story which stays with you long after you have read the last page. It is full of well developed characters & a riveting plot which has been exceptionally well written & presented by the author. I was easily swept into Dark Knight's world of witty dialogues, enchanting characters & feel good romance. The supporting characters too contributed to the whole story & weren't just used to fill up the pages. It was refreshing to have a hero who was an interesting mix of gentleness ...more

Dark Knight for me stood out for three things, ie. the use of language, the plot and the characters. The language is artistic if I may say so, the word use fluent and flowing. Not once does it conflict with the historical narrative of the storyline or the scenery it seems to create. There is only a handful of stories on Indian history, in that sense it was one unique experience.
The entire plot in a sense runs on miscommunication and the subtle moral conflicts that are a trademark of that era. T

I have read few chapters of this story initially in Wattpad but reading it all in a go,a Kindle version was a different feel altogether. An absolutely engaging read which makes you travel with characters, feel and love them. Aaryan and Siya come across as strong characters yet very human and flawed which makes them stand out.

The best part is plot takes its own sweet time to develop with supporting characters and subplots fitting in slowly. It's no way hurried and the pace is very well balanced. It

First of all, 0.75 less point doesn’t mean this book has flaws. I reserve 5 for some amazing classic masterpieces. Coming to the book, from the very first scene I was hooked. Two protagonists started as complete opposite of each other. Aaryan came from glorious bloodline but drowned into a dirty scandal, accused of treason and murder. He was dark, contemptuous, determined to avenge. On the other hand, Siya was a princess but a frowned upon love child, as pure as angel, slightly mischievous,

A review of a book sent to me from NetGallery for the price of an honest review.

I DNF'd this book almost a couple chapters in. I was not very fond of the writing or the characters and the story seemed a bit out of reach for this author. The premise and the promise of this novel was delightable but ultimately it wasnt presented in the way I hoped it would be. Granted that the writing was fluid and the world building could have done this book justice but I felt that this book was taking too many
