Blind Faith was such a cute ass adorable read. I loved Faith and Brenden!

Okay, so they both had super interesting lives before they met each other. SO, I was also completely lying because they had terrible people in their lives before they met each other. God, I hated both of their exes, like so freaking much. Then there's the whole storyline that reminded me of so many other books! For example. 50 shades. Especially with the whole driver protecting the millionaire scene - BTW I loved Jasper!

Brenden Porter is a billionaire who has recently (over the past several years) gone blind. While his other senses have definitely sharpened, he is still a little hung up about what he can't see. His sense of smell leads him to be interested in Faith - a broke barista who is trying to finish business school so she can open her own bakery/coffee shop. They hit it off, especially once he dumps his shallow girlfriend. (view spoiler) ...more

This was a cute read. I have never read a book about a character that is blind and I definitely enjoyed this book for it being my first book with a blind character. I was a little skeptical at first because I was really wondering how everything was going to play out. But Brenden had it all worked out and it was actually really interesting to read about a blind character.

I hate his first girlfriend. Naturally, she was a fucking bitch.

And I'm happy with the ending. I wish there would've been an ep
This could have been wonderful. Instead it read like some self-insert Mary Sue fanfic. Brenden was just too perfect. The man had no flaws, no vulnerabilities, virtually no character development. The First Person alternating povs had very little change in tone - to the extent that at one stage I thought I was reading Brenden's pov and it was Faith.

There was WAY too much navel-gazing and 'woe-is-me'. Brenden's super-sense was implausible to say the least and there was little, if any, real conflict

This is the first book I have ever read with a blind character being a MC. I thought the author did really well interrupting how it would be like living blind. The couple together were cute. It was a nice quick story.

In total a short and sweet romance to dream about - it did have some moments where I raised an eyebrow. Like the chronical indecision of the female lead as well as the jumpy chapters with an cut short ending. But in total it was a nice read ....

The hero was too passive. He let his girlfriend walk all over him. Then what his BFF and his girlfriend were doing...anyone could see that a mile away.
This did not work for me. I loved the premise. I love these type of stories, but the hero was weak and I did not feel the connection like I hoped I would. I ended up not finishing this one.
My opinion. You may love it.

Billionaire and the Coffee Girl
This book is a sweet romance and a new spin on the Billionaire Love Story. Brenden has been losing his sight for the last 15 years and has developed his other senses to help him navigate the world.

Brenden meets Faith in his local coffee shop and is immediately taken with her. Their romance develops after Brenden finally dumps his nasty gold digger girlfriend who has no patience with his blindness. Faith is such a breath of fresh air for Brenden, she is not interest

I received and ARC copy and voluntarily leave my honest review.
This is the first book that I have read by this author and I found her "take" on a billionaire romance interesting. Brendan certainly didn't come across as your typical arrogant wealthy man and I found him much easier to relate to, confident within his own shoes despite his disability. I felt his blindness in no way hindered his personality, and his really positive attitude shone through.

Breden Porter has it all - until he doesn't. He begins to lose his sight and eventually becomes functionally blind. He has worked hard to overcome his disability, surrounding himself with those he thinks he can trust and who will help him overcome the new challenges in his life. Still holding on to a relationship that he may have outgrown, Brenden meets Faith by random chance, first catching her lovely floral scent and then hearing her melodious voice for the first time. He is immediately attrac ...more

Blind Faith
by Ellie Danes
Rachel is horrible! Brenden Porter is wonderful! The two have dated for well over a year, during the time that he was going blind. Even though he's the CEO of a successful enterprise, he still counts on his girlfriend and best friend Darin to have his back. He trusts them. Then, he realizes that the soft spoken barista at his favorite coffeeshop, Faith, eases his mind when he's around her. She smells of lilac and coffee and he's smitten. Darin and Rachel mock Faith

This is a sweet romance on the surface, but beneath there is betrayal and some hard lessons.

Brenden meets Faith at the coffee shop where she works, and the attraction between them is instant. There are a few problems in the way of a relationship...he has a girlfriend, he's a billionaire, he's out of her league...or so Faith thinks, and he's blind.

Faith works double shifts, she's studying for her business degree, she wants to open her own bakery, and she's determined to do it all ha

Brenden met Faith one morning at his usual coffee shop. He was drawn to the sound quality of her voice and wanted to get to know her better, but was currently in a relationship with the woman he was seeing prior to losing his eyesight.

Faith, a barista with a dream is struggling to finish business school and start a community based businesss that will benefit both her and the people in the surrounding neighborhood. When she first meets Brenden, she feels a connection, but finds it hard to believe

I REALLY enjoyed the characters well except the ex & do called best friend Darin but heck you're meant to not like them.
But what loving & beautiful are the main characters billionaire Brenden & dependent hard worker, business student Faith.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. As for billionaire romances go, it was very sweet and did not try to be too extreme. Making the hero blind might have made added to the story because he seemed more down to earth and relatable because he understood a life beyond just making money. The heroine seemed a bit of a mess, but again made her sound like a real person. I would have liked a bit more backstory about how she got into such dire straits. I thought it was going t ...more

This was a sweet story Brendan the hero lost his sight and has a gold digger for a girls friend. The whole time he is with her you wonder why. She treats him like crap even though he buys her everything. She even flirts with rich men I'm front of him but he stays.

A routine visit to the coffee shop he meets barista Faith whom is new. They hit it off and he finds himself frequently going to the coffee shop just to see her. Faith

This was a nice read. Brenden is a wealthy man who has lost his sight. He’s come to terms with it and has even found a new way to “see” things. He is repeatedly having to remind his board of directors, however, that he’s able to handle being the boss despite his lack of sight. He’s also dealing with his self-absorbed girlfriend and his best friend’s recently odd behavior. When he wants some calm, he likes to go to his favorite coffee shop and chat with the lilac scented barista named Faith.

Absolute Perfection!

Loved this book from the storyline to the wonderful characters. This is the first Ellie Danes’ book that I have read, but it won’t be my last. I fell in love with Brenden and Faith as soon as I met them on the pages. He’s lost his sight and has developed a keen sense of hearing and sense of smell to learn about others. He’s relied on his girlfriend, Rachel and his long-time friend, Darin for far too long. Thankfully, he also has Jasper, his faithful employee, Jasper who is mo

My first Ellie Danes book.

I liked the story and the author did a good job with the characters. Not very detailed oriented when it came with the backgrounds but enough to keep me interested in reading until the end.

The story is short so I won't go in-depth because I don't want to spoil but I have to admit I thought it was a pretty simple plot, considering that I was expecting a bit more after the blurb.

Lately I've been fascinated with stories about characters with disabilities or problems, not so

Brenden is an alpha billionaire that has lost his sight over the years, but he started dating his girlfriend before he went blind, so she was comfortable and familiar to him, but treated him so badly, until one day he smelled lavender when going to the same coffee shop, where he met Faith. Brenden was intrigued by her and when things finally ended with his girlfriend, everyone was happy for that to end, but his best friend was being sneaky, when he knows why and realizes how he had been betrayed ...more

Love happens when least expected

Blind Faith by Ellie Danes is a lovely and well written story. She has created two sweet and vulnerable characters that find each other at just the right time and by chance. Faith and Brenden are both filled with self-doubt and often engage in negative self-talk, but always seem to realize the others' true feelings. They don't doubt each other's intentions. Secondary characters are also well developed and interesting, especially Jasper and Maria.

👍😍💜 A 4.5 star sweet romance, with MCs who are decent, kind and deserving of an HEA. This was well-written and the pages flew by with just enough suspense and tension provided by the heroine's aggressive ex, the heroine's financial woes, the hero's greedy girlfriend, and his questionable, spoiled best friend Darin. For me, though the story wrapped up with a satisf

I liked this story and thought the concept was good, the main characters were interesting and I was interested in how their story would play out.

However, it really bugged me that NO ONE told Brenden what his girlfriend and his so called best friend where doing behind his back and in front of him! Was he such a player before he lost his sight that no one respected him? Did they think he was so fragile now that he would do something bad if he found out? It just really, really, really bugged me, es

I loved this powerful emotional story about Brenden and Faith. Both characters have obstacles they are trying to climb over. For Brenden it is being blind and acclimating to his new life style. It may appear that he has it all in spite of his handicap but there are forces working in the background trying to manipulate not only him but his resources as well. For Faith she is in school trying to obtain her business degree and overcoming the betrayal of her ex leaving her at a crucial stage in her ...more

This was a fantastic romance by Ellie Danes, the first of her books that I have read, but will most certainly not be the last.

I really enjoyed the storyline and the fabulous characters; both those you loved and those you loved to hate - naming no names (*ahem* Rachel). It was fast paced, funny and sweet. I fell in love with the characters so much that I want to come back and see how they are doing in the future, you really feel invested.

What a sweet story that captivated me right from the beginning. Ellie Danes was able to show that it is possible to find true love even if you can't see it. Despite his handicap, Brenden was able to find the person meant for him. The one that looked past his riches and his eyes to find the real man within. A very touching story that I absolutley loved! Do not pass up in this book! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Brenden is rich, young and blind. His girlfriend, Rachel, is terrible and I really don't understand why he's dating's not his character. Everyone knows he shouldn't be dating her but apparently, him. When he visits his favorite coffee shop, he meets Faith a struggling college student. Brenden feels like she's a breath of fresh air...nice, kind, and funny.
