No voy a venir aquí con mi bandera de fanático insaciable de Roberto Bolaño, que lo soy; para poner de forma indiscriminada un calificación de 5 estrellas a un compendio de poemas durante la mayoría del cual no sentí que fuera un estilo para mí. Yo soy más de una poesía lírica; Bolaño, por su parte, y él mismo lo dijo, era muchísimo más prosaico.
Ojalá hubiera podido disfrutarlo mucho más.

Maravilloso. La poesía de Bolaño parece ser, por momentos, un mapa de su demás obra. Qué buen viaje leer este libro. Me encantó.

For most of his early adulthood, Bolaño was a vagabond, living at one time or another in Chile, Mexico, El Salvador, France and Spain.

Bolaño moved to Europe in 1977, and finally made his way to Spain, where he married and settled on the Mediterranean coast near Barcelona, working as a dishwasher, a campground custodian, bellhop and garbage collector — working during the day and writing
