Solace has been brought to its knees, it's government is experimenting on the homeless people with a deadly virus, the bees have been exterminated and those that are left have been genetically modified and nature is dying, a drought has been going on for years on end and people are starving. I really enjoyed The Silent Lands Chronicles by E.A. Darl (pen name of Susan Faw, a fave author of mine). And now we get to its third book, Stinging Silence, and once again I’ve nothing but praise. This really is a neat - and scary - premise and wonderful storyline. I’m actually not a big fan of dystopian novels but if they all were like this “eco-thriller dystopian series” (a perfect label for it) I likely would’ve become one.

Highly recommended.
