This informational text by Bobbie Kalman is a great text to use with my fourth grade classroom. It contains many text features that my class can recognize and great photos and illustrations that connect well with the information given. My students enjoy reading these books, especially during our Science unit on Animals and their environment! The text is heavy to read all at once, but it is nicely separated into sections to allow students to focus on just one part!
