The greatest English language book ever written about the Druze faith. Presented in a professional scholarly manner. You learn something new each time you read this book. This is critical reading for all Druze wanting to learn more about their faith.

This is a really interesting book for those people who are outside the faith and want to know more about a religion which has Abrahamic origins yet still preaches a very different interaction with God.

I was drawn to this book on the recommendation of a friend who is Druze, and who knew that I had been researching beliefs around reincarnation, as well as the different political influences of the Middle East.

This is not a book that seeks to convert anyone. It is simply there to explain how this community thinks, and for most people it could be a fascinating insight into a different way of perceiving life.

this book gives insight onto aspects of the religion that are often unknown to most of us therefore it is beneficial and worth reading. Great historical overview. Can't help but somewhat relate this book to the power of now by Eckhart tolle. mmm wonders wonders.

Do not expect an objective account about the Druze. This book reads more like doctrines than like science. But the author repeatedly stats in the Introduction that he wrote this book for Druze people so you are warned.
I found the book to be somewhat repetitive and didn't enjoy it that much.

Difficult read, too abstract at times, though the historical genesis if the religion reads well
