Jessica Pierce I'm so excited for you to read it! The story mainly belongs to Tesla, but will also alternate with Daxton in third person POV. Great question!

Stars must have collided somewhere in the universe to make this sensational odyssey take shape. It’s an absolutely delicious blend of science fiction and human emotion that will keep you flipping pages long after bedtime.

Jessica Pierce joins the ranks of sci-fi and fantasy heavyweights like Amie Kaufman and Amy Bartol with Atlas Fallen. I dare you not to fall in love with her enchanting prose, wonderful cast of character, and pulse-pounding plot.

And, Jessica, I’m ready for book 2...

Interesting book, some great characters, but felt like I'd read it before: the daughter of a traitor who is poor, the Prince with secrets and who doesn't much the duties of being prince, the conniving rich woman after the throne, the plot of revolution. An author I will keep my eye on though, because I liked the writing style

Recommend for: fans of the Lunar Chronicles, stubborn and fierce heroines, and sci-fi.

I received a digital arc of this book from the author, and have decided to review it.

Atlas Fallen tells the story of the daughter of a traitor to the Crown, fallen from her goals and dreams to live out her days in the poverty level of the Atlas space station.  She owes a debt to a crime lord, and takes her best chance to escape it through hunting down a terrorist about the station.

I feel like sci-fi slowly becoming one of my go-to's in terms of YA fiction, because I can't just keep reading YA Fantasy all the time lol.

I put off writing this review because I really wanted to think and do it justice. I realized if I kept waiting, though, it would never get done, so here I go!

I loved the world-building. I'd never read any science fiction before, so this was definitely a good, easy-to-read introduction. The characters were what I loved most about the book. I would have liked more development of Jasmeen, Sav, and Blitz, but I already love them and can't wait to learn more. The only thing that really bothered me w

This one gets a 4.5 from me! I really enjoyed it. The characters were engaging and had a lot of depth. The plot was fast-paced and kept me guessing the whole way through. My only real criticism is that at times things seemed to fit together a little too nicely, and I felt pulled out of the story at those times. That only happened once or twice, and it wasn't distracting enough to dock a full star. One other thing I struggled with once or twice were the action sequences. I had trouble keeping tra ...more

This was a fun sci-fi retelling of Cinderella. Since Cinderella is one of my favorite fairy tales, I was pretty excited to read this book. The beginning was pretty slow for me because of the world-building and description. If you read any of my reviews, that shouldn't come as a surprise because I hate getting bogged down by intricate world-building and heavy description. As always, this is completely matter of personal preference. I know lots of people love that kind of stuff and if you do, you' ...more

I really enjoyed Atlas Fallen and would recommend it to a lot of people-- sci fi lovers, YA fans, people who enjoy retellings of fairy tales, and... well, a lot of people. I'm not a massive fan of sci fi to begin with (much more of a fantasy lover) but Atlas Fallen managed to walk the line between "accessible futuristic fairytale" and "intense sci fi geekery" with ease, never leaving me feeling too left out.

Tesla was a joy of a main character. She was bold and enthusiastic and loyal, so wheneve

Sometimes you approach a book without expectations which makes it that much better when you discover how extraordinary it is!  This was my experience with Atlas Fallen by Jessica Pierce.

Atlas Fallen is Pierce's debut novel; the first book in the Young Adult Science Fiction Cyber Crown Series.  Pierce is a self-published author with an adoration for Star Wars, Star Trek, and things of the like.  Find out more about Pierce and the

Seriously, a captivating, original SF story since the beginning. I just loved the whole concept of the book. From the space station setting, to a girl who won't stop looking for clues to what really happened to her father no matter the difficulties, and to the mysterious boy she finds along the way in her quite crazy adventure. I can't wait to read book two. :)

First off, let me give a thank you to the author who sent me an early copy of Atlas Fallen!

Atlas Fallen is a story that takes a lot of classic and beloved stories and tropes and presents it with a sci-fi twist. As such, it makes it hard to even describe this book, but there were a few particular popular stories that I could make connections to. Bare with me while I name a few: a gender-bent Aladdin (where there is a prince and the female is the "street rat"), season 5 of Agents of Shield (speci

I was fortunate enough to get my hands on an e-ARC of this book and I'm glad I did. I've been wanting to read this book since it was first introduced to me a few months back as I have an ever-growing love for sci-fi, particularly of the YA persuasion, and this book hit all the right notes. If you're a fan of series like The Lunar Chronicles or the Starbound Trilogy, you'll enjoy this book.

This must be the year for sci-fi, fantasy, and romance to bunk up together and become the best roommates the book world has seen to date. Pierce did her homework before jumping into this action-packed tale full of political maneuverings, high-tech gadgetry, and a healthy dose of Gryffindor bravery.

Tesla Petrov. Let's just take a beat right here. Her name is ridiculously perfect. All the names in this story pulled me in even further as I met each character. Sometimes I'll read a story and the nam

You can trust me when I say I know what good science fiction books look like. Atlas Fallen was not one of them: it shoots to the top of any list and fits comfortably in what I would consider GREAT science fiction. Beyond amazing: it's destined to become a classic.

A hundred years after the nations of the world were united under one crown, that crown is in jeopardy. A mysterious plot threatens to destroy the monarchy, and it all seems to be going down on the ATLAS, a space station in orbit around

Let me start by saying I hate e-books. It feels so impersonal to me when I read a book on a device. I can’t feel the physical weight of the book, feel the pages flip through my fingers, or smell that “new book” smell that somehow transports me to the world in which I’m reading. That being said I had no issues flying through this amazing E-ARC of Atlas Fallen by Jessica Pierce.
This book is by far one of the best books I have read in 2018 so far. The characters, setting, and plot are beautifully

I got a copy of the Atlas Fallen ebook in my FairyLoot's November box, and this made me really happy! ^^ The book turned out to be a great read, actually. It is an awesome way for YA fans who are not really fond of sci-fi to explore the combined genre.

The story was fast-paced, action-packed, and intriguing with all of its political machinations, threats, and terrorism. I really like Daxton and Tesla's characters, they felt real, flawed,

This book has potential. Really it does.
The world building wasn’t half bad and the characters are pretty cool at times (bit generic, which was basically my problem with the entire book).
My friend raved about it and all I saw were great reviews, but then I read the first 90 pages and was bored out of my mind.
I know it takes awhile for some books to get started, obviously since you’re introducing us to new characters and a completely different world, but it never really seemed to take

Amazing, she’s written characters so well and created an amazing futuristic political world that I’m happy to be thrust into. First off the Atlas, for someone like me who grew up watching Zenon (and all the sequels) and wanted to live on a space station even just for a minute, this book was perfect. It was equal parts thrilling, detailed and normalized, I knew the dynamics of the Atlas and could easily picture each area in my mind. Now Tesla, the great line about the history of her name is perfe ...more

Five stars. This book has everything. I am extremely picky with sci-fi fantasy and I have to admit I loved everything about this book. I instantly fell for Daxton and Tesla. Telsa is a take charge type of girl and just plain awesome... I mean come on competing in illegal robot fights for a crime lord to survive? Like I said awesome. Oh and Daxton falls into my favorite troupe! The heir to the throne who wants more out of life than to be royalty and can fall for a "cinderella" type of girl. Pierc ...more

Atlas Fallen is basically my new favourite sci-fi series having finished the Lunar Chronicles and Illuminae. This book has everything I could want, action, romance, a heroine that kicks butt, friendships and a super epic scheme that has you guessing who's behind it at every turn. The politics of this universe are amazing as well! This book put me into the story so deeply that I could picture the difference in scenery and feel th

I love YA and it's one of my favorite genres. This is another book I found through Fae Crate and it immediately interested me. The book was really good overall and there wasn't any moments where I was sitting there thinking why would they do that? All the characters acted like REAL people and their decisions totally made sense. I'm more into Fantasy than Sci-fi, but this book was amazing!! So let me start out by saying that I am not usually a fan of science fiction in general. That is my fiancés forte. That being said, I did not have super high expectations but boy was I blown away!

I would describe this book as a crossover between star wars and passengers. Books taking place in space never seem to fail to amaze us. Most people have not gone into space. One thing we like to imagine is life in space. Maybe we picture it in beauty, peace, or awesomeness. But whatever way, Jessica took it to the next level. She made a pace we had never dreamed us. And showed us the thorny side of the rose. Maybe life is better on earth. With her writing, which was impecable, she gave us some i ...more

Can't wait for the next book!

I love the start of the Cyber Crown series. Tesla, Daxton, Jasmeen, Blitz, and Sav are great friends who I would love to have on my side in a fight! I stayed up late reading this book, and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

I am not the fan for cyber books but this is more than an exception. The plot and the characters are all wonderful. This had me out of my body while at work and turning the pages as I was as clueless as the characters. Putting everything together as Tesla was is brilliant. This book had me thinking and cheering as I went along. Is there more?

I got this book as an e-book from this November's Fairyloot box.

I was immediately attracted to this book after reading the plot (and seeing the gorgeous art featured on the Fairyloot box). I love sci-fi, dystopia and royals so I was bound to love this book ! And I did !

I bought this because it had a high rating, but was disappointed. I didn't finish it.

There was nothing terribly original here: a scrappy poor girl trying to save a family member (in this case, her dad's posthumous reputation), and the obligatory stratified society with extreme wealth disparity. The writing was fine, but not standout.

I stopped reading when the prince asked the heroine to the ball. Nothing wrong with romance, but do we really need to drag these fantasy tropes into science fiction?

I give Atlas Fallen a five star review for so many reasons. The writing is beautiful and full of sensory detail.
