I loved this book. It was on the short side, but packed Punch. I loved the relationship between the two main characters, they had great chemistry. The story was really good, I usually don’t find that in shorter books, but this one I thought was really put together.

Instead, the author chose to take the ancient gods of the Sumerians and make them the focal point of the book. The author added her own spin to the Annunaki, which I thought was fascinating.

I was a little disappointed with the lack of character development in the book. I wanted to know more about Lucas
