The Mastery Club
Natalie has long been fascinated by witches and wizards and the world of fantasy, but she wants to be able to do real magic. So when green-haired unpredictable Nina bursts into her life with a plan to form a 'Mastery Club', Natalie's mind and world are opened up to some startling possibilities and a colourful, creative family. Natalie's friends eventually join the Mastery Club too, and together they learn about the nature of reality, their extraordinary potential, and powerful tools like creative visualisation, affirmations and treasure maps as, one by one, they find a goal or challenge to undertake - everything from passing maths tests to creating a family holiday in the Greek Islands. Mentors turn up and there are crises to face and obstacles to deal with as this group of friends embarks on their quest to be all they can be and make their dreams come true. Independent Book Publisher Awards, Youth Fiction. "The Mastery Club should be in every classroom and on every child's bookshelf. It teaches powerful life principles, attitudes and tools through a page-turning story about real kids, their goals, dreams, challenges and families." - Jack Canfield, Co-creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series and The Success Principles.

I read this book when I was about 11, when it first come out, and I can wholeheartedly say this was the first book to really influence my life. It was during what I perceived to be a hard time that my mum gave me this and it helped me understand I didn’t have to do what was expected of me. I have reread it many many times, even into my twenties, and find little gems every time. I have a baby daughter now, and I cannot wait to give her my copy of this book and hope it resonates with her just as much.

Although i read this book a long time ago its effects still linger within me. A very optimistic and enlightening book. I read this book at a time in which I was very depressed and this book gave me a chance to view things from a different perspective. I recommend this book to everyone I'm really glad that I have come across this book

A great story that builds confidence in kids ability to choose their pathway. Loved it! More kids need to read this before they become conditioned to accepting "what is" so they can create "what could be".

A fantastic novel that introduces a truly astonishing lifestyle. Complex topics are discussed throughout at the reading level of late primary school students, but still enjoyable for older readers as a quick and simple-to-understand life lesson.

The Mastery Club is an inspiring and imaginative story that blends adventure with valuable life lessons. I enjoyed how it encourages positive thinking, goal-setting, and self-belief in a way that's easy to understand.

The Mastery Club is a truly inspiring and uplifting read that delivers valuable life lessons through an engaging and heartfelt story. The characters are relatable, especially Nina and her lovable "Nuncle," whose guidance and encouragement make the journey both enjoyable and meaningful.

This was some book this self-motivation guy made me read to make me less shy or some crap like that... LOL it was OK but let me tell you was a complete waste of time if I was supposed to put the book down and then go out into the world with a megaphone in hand and a sparkly new self-confidence within me.

A very cosy book but I can’t even begin to describe all the ways in which this was terribly problematic so you’re gonna have to take my word for it.
