The Acolyte's Passion is, really, the first full-length novel to (in my humble opinion) truly deserve the erotic fantasy label. At its heart, this is a vintage quest novel, but with some Reed James twists. Our heroes are both women, a knight-errant and a young acolyte, on their way to slay a dragon. Simple enough, but there are secret plots behind their quest, and the monsters of this land are cursed with appetites both carnal and carnivorous.
Although Angela is, ostensibly, the heroine of the tale, it is her acolyte companion who so completely captured my heart. Sophia is just delightful, a spoiled lesbian who, after years of seducing the newest girls of her order, finds herself in love with the knight-errant. The sexual mythology of her order could make a book of its own, and Sophia's baptism of milk-filled breasts and squirting vaginas and absolutely breathtaking . . . almost as much so as her acts of sexual healing later in the story.
Of course, it should come as no surprise that the master of futanari erotica populates the book with not just one, but five hermaphroditic elemental races - Elves (life), Gnomes (earth), Sylphs (air), Nixies (water), and Dragons (fire). We meet the elves first, with the beautiful Xerathalasia (Xera) joining the quest, and for those who dread the fantasy tendency to delay the climax, we do get to confront Dominari, the fabled Dragon, in the final chapters.
Clearly, just as much work went into building the story as the mythology, with The Acolyte's Passion delivering a remarkably well-balanced story where all the elements are integrated into a delicious whole. Fantasy, erotica, adventure, action, politics, romance, drama, and faith are all interwoven into a story that depends on all of them evenly. This is not an epic fantasy with sex scenes tossed in, but an erotic epic fantasy where sex is integral to the plot, and sexuality integral to the world. It is seamless blend, and there is more than enough passion and imagination to keep it fresh and exciting.
With five novels planned in the series, I honestly do not know how Reed James can possibly top this . . . but I cannot wait to find out.

Reed’s phenomenal talent is on full display with all of the vividly & lushly detailed, descriptive storytelling, the numerous races of heroes, villains, monsters, creatures, Gods & Goddesses, the prophecies & magic that is “powered” by lust & passion and how it is all brought together in one deeply enriched and enhanced story! I am a huge fan of fantasy and Reed James has managed to write a compelling fantasy novel interwoven with non-stop, inventive, and very hot, erotic encounters between every one and every creature that the reader encounters within the novel. The bones of the plot are very traditional fantasy. A female Knight (Angela) must go on a quest to kill a dragon. Along the way, she must gather a group of helpers, some human and some non-human, to help her fulfill her quest. She is beset by dangers some magical and some from political intrigue. The realms of this world all seem to operate on sexual magic so characters are continually having sex in order to provide power to their spells or to barter favours from magical beings. It is a cornucopia of sex with a intriguing quest story that runs throughout the fantasy. In many ways, I was reminded of Piers Anthony's erotic fantasy novels although I think James has done a more inventive job in depicting the eroticism between the characters in this story. I am looking forward to seeing what happens as the quest continues in future novels. Overall, a wonderfully entertaining erotic fantasy!

Wow, this was definitely erotic. If you like hentai, with some monsters and everything's involved, this is the book for you. Few things I did not like. One, the scenes were too rushed in the sex department. Two, the "dirty" talk was quite repetitive and most times all rushed into one sentence. Three, sometimes things jumped too quickly from one perspective to another. All in all though, it has a interesting plot, and a shut Tom of hot sex happening. This one will get your panties dripping.

Yawn
The concept is interesting and the first quarter of the book kept me interested. But that's about when it became so repetitive that I found myself forcing my way to the end. The characters of Angela and Sophia went from having potential for depth to being two dimensional. By three quarters of the way through I just couldn't wait to get to the end so that I could be done with the book. The story has potential and maybe in the follow up books it will get there. I'll just never know.

This book contains a lot of sex. Call it smut is you must.
The question remains: "is there enough content between the sex?" Most have not. The answer is yes.
But this book has just that bit of plot, that bit of world building that will keep you reading. You want to know what will happen next. Remove the sex and a fairly good fantasy novel remains, but it won't work without the sex.
This is the party in an isometric RPG game that you might like to play.

More Story Less Sex
So I really like the story , if you can get to it. The MC is quite interesting. The other characters wants you to have sympathy for them. But every chapter has random sex. I had to skip some whole chapters Jett so I can get back to the story.

Begins with King Edward IV wanting a look into his future, and has a rather steamy sex session with the oricle. Afterwards she pre warns him of his death. He lay there telling himself that he would not die. Following he sets out to destroy the person that can end him.
This is a fantasy read and a very good one full of royalty, knights, elves, oricles, mages, warlocks & a plethora of monsters I have probably missed some things out. The story then follows the knight Angela who is on a quest meeting and having sex with almost everyone who crosses their path. Yes this book has plenty of sex f/f, f/f/f, m/f, m/f/m and not not forget monster sex, full of magic which is of course fuelled by sex. This book has it all and is a great read I really enjoyed this book recommended read.
