I love these books. They're short reads, but packed full of story and character. Colt is awesome and I've claimed him as my new book boyfriend.

My Thoughts
I love this author!
When I'm looking for a fun, easy, short, entertaining read, I always go to a T.S. Joyce.
I think (I'm pretty sure) I've read all of her books.
This book is everything I expect in a T.S. Joyce story.
The protagonists are broken, protective, kick-ass, dominant and once they find each other - what was broken is made whole.
This book was also funny as hell.
Colt and Karis were just perfect together.
I LOVE this author's sense of humour.
When I'm done reading one of her books I feel happy that I've read a good story and I've been entertained.
T.S. Joyce has an incredible talent for writing well developed paranormal romance stories that leave the reader satisfied.
If you're a fan of this author, you won't be disappointed when you read this story.

I adore this series. I am so glad that Colt got a story.
Colt was born human. He had a drunk, gambling father and no mother. Colt raised himself, went to school, and worked to raise his sister, pay bills, and keep good on the table. Colt's best friend was Trigger who had an out of control beast near living inside of him. Colt refuses to talk about how he got his own beast bear, but he thinks of his bear has someone to protect that maybe it'll calm down, so he signs up for the breeder program where he gets paired with Karis.
Karis wants a cub. Karis had a fiance but learned he lied about wanting children, so she signed up for the breeder program. Karis decided she would not let feelings get involved when she met Colt. She didn't want to be hurt again.
I like this because most shifter books have the shifters being perfection, this one give Colt now human qualities by giving him scars and valid insecurities. I think it's great that this give, bad man nursed a baby squirrel to health to.
There are steamy sex scenes, but there is a story going here. This can be read as a stand alone, but you'll know the characters better and understand much more about the happenings of you start at book one.

T.S. Joyce does it again.
Short sweet and absolutely hilarious! It something I can alway count on with this author.
Colton's book definitely had a little build up! I wanted to know more about him from book one but the author teased us a little holding out the release for longer than usual. Cruel and wicked punishment but oh so worth the wait.
I laughed so freaking hard at so much of this book! Honestly it a wonder I didn't pass out from it. From the texts in the beginning to little Genie being a shit head ... bloody brilliance, absolute comedy gold. Everything about this book was right. The connection between Karis and Colton was spot on from day one! I couldn't think of any two people more right for eachother than these pair. The emotion through the story is deep and at parts heartbreaking but oh so freaking worth it for that ending. I honestly have no complaints.. I devoured it in a short space of time and was left pinning for more.
Another favourite from this lovely author and I cannot wait to see what comes next.

Again I was not disappointed in T.S Joyce's book, as a matter of fact if I were to ask which one I like best I would be in trouble, because I love all her books, and all the characters.
Karis is trying to overhaul her life, as she is getting over a heartbreak she joins a matchmaking program for big predator shifters.

It’s not often that I’m left speechless and raw by a story, but I can damn well guarantee when I am it’s by a story from T. S. Joyce. I don’t even know how to talk about For The Heart of an Outlaw without giving away major spoilers… and believe me, I want to talk about this one. So I’m going to have to stick with the emotional fallout from this one and hope that conveys how much I absolutely loved Karis and Colt’s love story. For it is love at the very base of it all. By the end of the first chapter there should be no doubt that these two wounded souls are meant for each other… no doubt at all. These two people have wounds, deep emotional, mental and physical wounds that should have destroyed them long ago. Yet they’re survivors and in each other they will find that someone who completely gets them. who will defend and protect them to the death but also has the strength and courage to make a life with them that is so much richer than either could have dreamed of.
There is a lot going on in this story. And I confess that I don’t know and don’t care where we’re going with this series, but I know it’s going to be one amazing journey. In For The Heart of an Outlaw you will find love and hate, acceptance and forgiveness, betrayals and anger, and so many changes to lives that didn’t have to be but will be survived and come out stronger on the other side. This one is powerful, it will shred your heart and put it back together whole by the ending. This story is T. S. Joyce at her best – and I cannot wait to see what comes our way next in this series.
I would highly recommend this story and this series to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader. You’ll discover raw emotions, a plot with some twists and turns that you won’t see coming, and characters who will wrap themselves around your heart.

Another damaged hero
Setting: Montana, near Yellowstone
Genre: Shifter Romance
Colt, AKA Warmaker, is a Turned Shifter, barely able to control the bear he got when his best friend attacked him 5 years ago. Sure that having a mate and cubs to protect will help him keep the bear steady, he signs up for a breeder program and flies his potential contracted breeder mate to Montana to meet him and see where he lives/works at the Two Claws ranch. Karis is a shifter from Alaska who joined the breeder program after she found out that the guy she’d been dating for 10 years had gotten a vasectomy because he didn’t want offspring with her. His behavior toward her made her determined to have a cub to love, but she would have no more than friendship with the man with whom she had a breeder contract. However, Colt wants the whole nine yards and asks for time to get her to fall in love.
Aside from the relationship issues (and the sex), there is tension between the Two Claws Clan and the cougar Shifter group living in town (see the first 2 titles in the series). There is conflict there to add dimension to the story.
Overall, the plot, though pretty simple, is well-done for this sub genre. The character development isn’t bad, though the “damaged hero” trope this author is so fond of is has gotten pretty old. There’s not much variety to the male characters, so any variation has to come from the females.

This is the third book in this series and they should be read in order. This book focuses on Colton and finding his mate. Colton applies to a matchmaker. Every since his sister and mated with his best friend his bear has been out of control. Karis is looking to start over. She was with a man for a long time and they just broke up. A lot happened at the end of their relationship and Karis isn’t interested in a getting involved with another man. She does want love though. The love of a cub. So, she applies to the matchmaker as well but to be a breeder. Breeders aren’t exactly thought highly of by most shifters. The more Colton and Karis get to know each other the more they like each other. Karis’s animal riles up Colton’s bear instead of settling him. You also get to meet Genie in this book. Genie is Colton’s pet squirrel. She isn’t exactly accepting of others. She likes to bite. Not to mention the local cougar clan still isn’t happy with the two Claws Clan. It was great getting to read about these characters again. Both Karis and Colton are great. They are a perfect match even if they didn’t think they would be at first. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

So Sweet and So Funny!
If there is one thing I can guarantee when reading one of T.S. Joyce books is you won't be able to put it down! I have loved all her books each series keeps getting better then the first. I don't know if it's the very inappropriate d*ck jokes or the overly mushy sentiments from these big tough alpha men but no matter what they always find a way to win my heart. You will fall in love too with these new characters but make sure you read Trigger and Ava's story first. But I must say this I sure wish I could ask T.S. If she's a fan of Sons of Anarchy all these MC's and I do believe Trigger even used the saying Darlin' in the first book if you ever watched Sons you would know that's a Jax Teller saying that would melt any woman's panties LoL and then one of the Clubs were named Red Dead Mayhem that got me wondering is our author a gamer ? Because my son's are big fans of a game called Red Dead Redemption I'm gonna have to ask my son if there are any characters named Colt or Trigger LoL 😂

For the Heart of an Outlaw is the second book in this series and centers around Colton and Karis.
Colton is Ava’s brother and Trigger’s best friend from the first book. He’s been struggling with his bear and believes that having a mate will help to settle him. Colton signs up on a shifter dating website and matches to Karis.
Karis dated a man for over ten years wanting a husband and kids. Unfortunately the man didn’t want the same things and left her heartbroken. Determined to become a mom and have a family, Karis signs up on a website and matches to Colton.
What starts out as basically a transaction turns into love, acceptance and healing. Colton was broken and Karis accepted him almost immediately as he was. That was a huge deal to Colton and helped him to become more confident and open up. Colton is honest from the beginning with Karis about what he wants which allows her to see Colton for the good man he is and begin to trust him.

Colton Dorset and Karis are Breeders by choice at this point in their lives. She decides this, on her part, because of a betrayal that hurt. Therefore, she is off to a small town in Montana. Colton's decision is based on the fact he truly believes he will never have his own family, other than his only sister, Ava and best friend, Trigger. They are a couple and he longs for that, but with his severely scarred face and his monster he has no chance of having what he longs for. Around this small town in Montana, they no longer call him the Peacemaker....he is known as the Warmaker!
This series is really good and this story did not disappoint! The sizzle is medium to hot, which works out fine because the plot is so good. There is laughter, heartfelt moments, action and passion. I love Colt, Karis & Genie as well as Trigger Massey and Ava!

Beauties & Their Beasts
But you don’t know who I’m talking about, do you, because you haven’t read this story yet, because you’re reading the reviews. If you’re a new reader to TS Joyce, you might want to start with the first book in this series, but it isn’t necessary. You get all the backstory and more here.
Karis and Colt are wonderful together, but of course, they have to learn that. An old enemy gets just desserts, and a new enemy springs forth. Lots of changes here in this world. And it’s full of new beginnings.
Like all the best of Joyce’s stories, the voices in it are hilarious. The language has me cracking up every other page, and I so wish I knew people who actually spoke like this, because I would live where they do. Read it.

Karis and Colt are wonderful together, but of course, they have to learn that. An old enemy gets just desserts, and a new enemy springs forth. Lots of changes here in this world. And it’s full of new beginnings.
Like all the best of Joyce’s stories, the voices in it are hilarious. The language has me cracking up every other page, and I so wish I knew people who actually spoke like this, because I would live where they do. Read it.

Brilliant
Been dying for this book since the end of book 1 never mind book 2 lol. This time it's Colts turn to find a mate but is helped out by a breeding program who finds him the ideal person/shifter. What time of animal can help to controls not only the warmaker but also turn a rabid squirrel into a semi tame pet. Things don't go according to plan and the new alpha of the mountain lions causes trouble. Things turn nasty at the ranch not just for Colts mate but for his sister as well. Find out what happens and if everything turns out ok in this latest edition to the series. You won't be disappointed

The destination is still not complete but their journey
The destination is still not complete but their journey was freaking captivating. The depth of growth from both Colton and Karis was so just awe inspiring. From the their level of personal experience and acceptance of both the things they could could control and those they would be accepting by taking on a "stranger mate". I laughed , I cried and by the end was so happy for not only these two but Ava and Trig too that they could all realize and their damage was beautiful and the Two Claw Clan was especially beautiful together.

OH WOW EPIC!!!!!!
Loved, loved, loved it. Colton story brought tears to my eyes, seeing how he made the decision to be hooked up with someone. And it couldn't be any better the person he got hooked to, Karis had her own demons just like Colton, but they both came out okay. Now Ava may not have gotten the bear in the best way, but I am happy for her. Thank goodness Karis did what she did, cause Ava would be a mountain lion right about now, but once again fate came along and changed things for the better of Two Claw Clan..big fan Winzie19. Looking forward to the read more about the Warmaker..

What can I say? LOUUUVED it! I laughed and cried. I ugly cried! These 2 characters...complex but damn so easy to love them and understand their struggles. Amazing strength these 2 have. Along with Ava and Trigger. Its why they make the perfect clan. Karis is f'in badass! Dude....she kicks some serious butt and I so wouldnt wanna meet her in an ally. Ha. Fell in love with her! The part where Colt "took care" of her ex Jackson? I really wanted to know what he said to him. That was hilarious. I'm not spillin the beans on her shifter because some might not have read it yet. Your welcome! Wanna kill people who tease like that? Askin for a friend....

War maker is hot!
I really loved the sweetness of Colt, which he never lost though a beast of a bear was put into him. He’s always got a smile on his face, laughing and joking but the hurt is deep because his best friend changed him and he’s never resolved that. He will in this one, and come to terms with the baby sister he raised, but who left him. He deserves love and happiness and he’s going to get it. I love his Genie Meanie pet “wishing” squirrel, so will you. I could not put this book down, but when I did I wanted to get back to it ASAP. Great story in this series.

This is Colt and Karis’s story. Two people with massive bears in their middle that believe they are broken, but want to try for a better life anyway. They are matched on a breeder website and the moment they meet in person it’s as if the pieces slowly start working themselves into place. But, their insecurities and the Darby clan of mountain lions just can’t leave them be. Will they be able to trust in one another enough to open up, expose their fears and fight for their future? Definitely read the book to find out but, like all T.S. Joyce’s books, I don’t think you will be disappointed. Can’t wait to see this clan grow!

After meeting Colton during Trigger & Ava's story I wasn't sure how much I'd like him. He's always making jokes and is very much in a fairly typical relationship with Ava as "irritating brother/annoying sister". But here you get to see past that into who Colton really is and it's very sweet. You're reminded of how much & how fast he grew up, you get the details on how he got the bear, and of course the drama in town. And his & Trigger's nicknames (Warmaker & Hairpin) are even more evident (although they were before). Karis I wasn't so sure about, but she like Colton is sensitive, while still fierce...also she's a MFing polar bear...which is awesome...

Amazing!
I think every time I review one of her book amazing is what I call it. As soon as I saw it was released I stopped what I was currently reading and devoured it in a few hours straight. I laughed and literally cried more than once. A lot of books in this genre it’s just the same old thing, but not any books by TS Joyce. I just can’t get enough. Each book makes me soul search a little and gives me hope that one day I’ll get my happy ending. Thanks for another fantastic read!

TS does it again
I'm almost sorry that I've binged-read every book this author has written, now I have to wait like everyone else for the next installment. Dang it, write faster TS. In between my own writings, I love living in your character's world and the Warmaker's tale was one of the most passionate and heartbreaking, and that's saying something because they are all that way. Your stories just keep getting better, and I don't even know how that's possible since I've been hooked from book 1.

Holy S word!
I still don't know how she does it. Every book I read I say the same thing. "She did it again, I have a new favorite". But then something new comes along and she blows my freaking socks off. I love this outlaw series. Her characters are so raw and put themselves out there, but they go to battle for each other and are ready to fight tooth and nail through the messy stuff to stay solid. That's the kind of friends and family everyone wants by their side. Way to start the year T. Kicking a** and taking names in true Alpha style. Forever fan<3

She was Ingrained in his Heart, his Soul, and his Life! T
Each time I read a TS Joyce book, I am excited, because I know that I will escape to a world where Alpha shifters will find their hurting mates, and when those worlds collide, there will be HavoK, and fighting, and sexy, intimate, mashings of bodies and LOVE. And LOTS and LOTS of hysterical name calling,and pink beanies, and half rabid wishing squirrels and JOY at finding that life and love are worth fighting for!
