A new author for me and I can’t wait to read more from Ms. Carter.

Everything in this story kept happening in such a timely manner that I was drawn into the story from the beginning and couldn’t put it down. Ms. Carter kept me involved. I was entertained thoroughly. I found the characters to be very realistic and likable. You could feel the emotions along with sensing what they were going through. The imager

And The Forecast Called For Rain is yet another awesome read by Kim Carter. I instantly loved the characters right from the beginning. The plot involves some twists and turns I did not expect and could not have predicted. I had to know how the mystery would be solved and could not put the book down.
I give And The Forecast Called For Rain a well deserved five plus stars. Kim Carter has earned herself a new fan.

What a totally engrossing and absolute enjoyable and definitely an edge of your seat book by Kim Carter. The characters were described so vividly and their actions so clear and transparent it made readers feel like they almost knew them and definitely could picture them in their minds. The amount of believable read herrings were so plentiful it truly made it a detective story for the reader as well as the characters involved in solving the murders. But, OMG, what a twisted and delightfully delic ...more

I was given an arc copy of “And the forecast called for rain” in exchange for an honest review. The storyline was actually really enjoyable. The story was about a couple of cops hunting down a serial killer who was murdering girls every time it rained. All the characters involved in trying to find the killer were really likeable characters and the story kept me turning pages pretty quickly. The only down side for me was that the story which unfolded after they found out who the killer was, was a ...more

This was a first read from this author and I’ve find a new one that’s awesome. Had me completely enthralled from chapter one. I’m a big fan of mystery/thriller/suspense and was over the moon that this was NOT one you can guess the outcome. Completely unpredictable and makes you think. I still have questions which I hope will be answered!! Awesome characters!

I received a complimentary copy from Book Reviews 4 You with no requirement for a review.

Decent if not spectacular

This story follows a string of murders that detective Ramirez and his young protege, Chatham are solving. Murders only happens when it’s raining, mysterious. A story that took a very long time to get going but still a decent read nevertheless.
