Most known for his psychological thriller, suspense and mystery novels.
By day Blake is a content specialist and business owner. By night, he could be any one of his mysterious characters. He's currently posing as psychic medium, Arabella, from Familiar - available now.
Blake's most successful novel to date, DECEPTION: A Love of Lies hasn't let readers look at passing dog walkers the same.
Becoming T. J. Blake Being a child that needed speech therapy and extra support with writing and spelling, Blake was never considered to be a child who would enjoy the craft of writing.
His passion for writing lopsided slightly as school life took over. Once he completed his GCSE's though, Blake showcased his passion for writing in college. The A-Level subjects English Language and Film Studies encouraged him to write more and to continue a journey into further education; where he graduated Kingston University with a BAHons degree in Creative Writing with English Language & Communications in 2015.
The prospect of writing to entertain people across the world is something Blake thrives on. Since becoming a self-published author in 2013 with Amazon, Blake has written and published four novels, which are all available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Waterstones.
Blake on writing - "When I go over my plot, I critique as a harsh and predictive reader. I don't want a reader to guess what is going to happen before it happens that just ruins the fun, right?"

Read this short story whilst I was on holiday in Cyprus and loved it! The afternoon passed by so quickly as I couldn't put it down, a great little page turner. A creepy story line with a great twist, would highly recommend.
“Alive” is not the first book by T.J. Blake that l have read. And as before, it doesn’t deceive me. I recognize the special author’s style. Indeed, the vivid detailed descriptions of the spatial framework contrast with the mystery enveloping the characters. This short novel is an intense thriller. It can be considered as a horror story too, depending on the reader’s sensibility. The introduction is quite classical leading to a feeling of déjà vu. Then, the events twist toward an unexpected shocking end. I won’t go into details so it wouldn’t ruin the suspense and the good plot of the story for the following readers. This novel is a gripping compelling book . I have enjoyed reading it and I look forward to read other books by T.J Blake.
Alive is a short story in a genre I don't usually read.
The blurb is concise and enticing, and the cover suggests the story will make my flesh crawl. A strong start!
The premise is interesting - Sarah is almost drowned following a road traffic accident. She remembers being pulled from the water and revived. This experience has changed her and she decides to fake her death so that she can help others.
I found this to be a quick and easy read, but would not call it a compelling story. I was not convinced by Sarah as a character or her decision-making processes, and the writing style could have been tighter to ramp up the drama. However, the twist at the end surprised me, and probably would have had even greater impact in a longer story.
