Does anyone remember Cliff Notes? Yes, it was often used in lieu of reading the actual book, but some of us used Cliff Notes to gain insight into a particular work. It was the only way I came to understand Shakespeare! This book to me is like the Cliff Notes of Java Programming ESPECIALLY if you're coming into the subject with Zero Understanding. It's easy to read and isn't bogged down in too much jargon. It makes the world of programming accessible!

Informative

This second book in this author's Java series gives step-by-step instructions with examples in a range of situations. Methods and proper syntax are made easier to follow as examples are shown all along the way.

This book will help you learn by doing from defining methods and parameters to input and output. It's worth reading and keeping for future reference.
