I had a good time with this audiobook. This was a nice quick romance that really grabbed me from the very start. I really didn't want to stop listening and couldn't wait to see Jana and Hunter figure things out. This is the eighth book in the Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers series but it read absolutely fine as a stand alone. Addison Cole's books are the sweet with heat versions of some of Melissa Foster's books. This book is the sw

Embraced at Seaside by Addison Cole is a sweet, romantic and heartwarming read.
Every book in this series has been a joy to read, I've enjoyed getting to know all the characters and they've warmed my heart watching them find their happily ever after.

Embraced at Seaside is a beautifully written and heartfelt read.
Hunter and Jana were wonderful, likable, passionate and stubborn characters that entertained me with their antics.
I loved watching them slowly move from bed buddies to lovers a

I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I was not financially compensated, and all opinions are 100 percent mine.

I have truly come to appreciate these "sweet with heat" books by Addison Cole, and I have to say that she has found a happy medium when crafting these romantic tales. She has found a way to take out the bedroom scenes and any bad language while still telling an engaging story that reminds the hopeless romantics in all of us why falling in love is such a cheris

I love being transported to Seaside where it is always sunny, sandy and romantic, sand being swept away for a few hours from the dreary weather outside.

In this instalment we get the seriously hot Hunter Lacroux and feisty Jana Garner's story. They have a habit of hooking up with each other but when Hunter decides he wants it to be more than a hookup not only does that scare the notorious player but it scares Jana too. She has had a string of bad relationships and she doesn't want ruin what they

Fear is the driving factor in Hunter and Jana's relationship. Behind closed doors, their attraction takes free reign, but in the real world the risk seems too great of a cost. Past hurts have made prickly, independent Jana afraid to trust her instincts. Hunter is both the best and worst of her fears brought to life. He's rough around the edges, but brings beauty into her once dark and lonely world. He also forces her to face some hard truths about herself. Her heart yearns for a soft place to la ...more

Addison Cole’s Embraced at Seaside doesn’t follow the typical romantic storyline. The reader quickly learns that the two main characters are friends with benefits. Jana Garner and Hunter Lacroux’s journey towards happiness isn’t easy; it’s hard won. The author creates an honest, relatable story for the characters as they test the commitment and relationship waters.
The author descriptive writing style enables the reader to understand the deep emotional connection and the all consuming passion tha

In an Oyster Shell -  I was so happy to see old characters brought back to the fold. I loved that this story was so unique, I think I say this about most books in this series but this one is my favorite so far.
The Pearls - The thing I appreciate most about this series is that the author has the fortitude to turn a successful racy series into a sweet series for people like me. I have a lot of gratitude and admiration to Addison Cole for taking the time to revamp her stories so I can comfortably

Let me introduce you to Hunter Lacroux. He is a player who doesn’t want a relationship. Until he hooks up with Jana one too many times and feelings start to change. Then Jana gives him a challenge that he can’t walk away from. I LOVE the romance. I LOVE the sunrises, sunsets, dinners, and everything else that comes with romance. Addison Cole is so talented in writing these romantic, sweet, and a little steamy scenes.

Addison Cole is also amazing with her friendships. The Seaside Girls are amazin

Embraced At Seaside is one of my favorites in the Seaside series.

The way this story started off, I knew the characters were in trouble when it comes to each other, especially Jana.

Jana is a very strong, independent woman, who is insecure when it comes to her ability to commit to relationships. Jana loves to dance, box, and performing in a theater. I enjoy her creative side. Lately, life has gotten crazy and out of control that Jana has had to cut back on the things she loves.

Hunter is creative

Audio makes this a worthy afternoon listen while driving down the road, cleaning house, lounging by the pool, or just doing mindless work. The ebb and flow of the dual narration makes for an engaging sweet romance. You get all the words brought to life and made more vivid in your mind. I am a huge fan of audio books. I love the previous narrator of the series up to this point. I was hesit

This series had made me want to pack a bag, grab some friends, jump in the car and head to the coast! Jana is my polar opposite from when I was in high school and college. She has confidence in every area of her life except for the romance department. As fate has it, Hunter shows up and shakes up her previous attitude toward love and romance. Life throws curve balls and she has to give up some of her comfort zone but fate steps in again and she's faced with Hunter. He is a bad boy persona-wise b ...more

If you have read some of my reviews you will already know that I loved most of the books I have read from Melissa Foster. Embraced at seaside is not one of those books unfortunately. I didn't hate the heroine, but it was a close call since she was always pushing Hunter away. Up 'till the last 2 chapters, I felt like their relationship was going nowhere and I wanted to see Hunter moving on or at least trying to until Jana realized that Hunter must be kept at all costs. He is a great guy and since ...more

Jana and Hunter are opposites in just about every way, except for the fact that they both refuse to commit, and Hunter enjoys his life as a player. But since they got together once neither can get the other out of their head.

They've spent the last several months being bed buddies but fighting it every step of the way. Can they move beyond being friends with benefits and actually date? And can they get past their history and their current hurdles to find love?

This is a sweet, fun story, set with

I loved this book and it's beautifully flawed characters. I have enjoyed all of the other sweet with heat books in this series, but this book spoke to me so much more.
I love that Hunter is so determined. He may be scared and not sure of love but that's not going to stop him. Jana is such a strong woman and she works really hard to guard her emotions. I really felt I could really relate to Hunter and Jana. I think we have all had a bad relationship that made us question if they were worth it.

We met Hunter a while back, but now we really get to know him. He's quite a steamy fella. He has the smolder down to an art. I mean seriously, you can feel it seeping off the pages at times. I loved it. Jana's not immune to his smolder, but he's not immune to her either... as much as they both want to be. This is a casual fling that grows into much more. I enjoyed the process of it all. They were definitely in denial, and oh so entertaining. If you haven't sta

A challenging romance that is irresistible!

Embraced at Seaside is the eighth book in the Sweet with Heat series. A well-written book that will keep you entertained from beginning to end. This story is full of passion and plenty of romance. It is so easy to feel a connection to and like all of the characters. When I finish reading the book, I feel that the characters are friends, the next-door neighbor, and even part of my family. This story shows you the ends that even through past hurts, when l

I really like these sweet with heat books. They are a great story to sit back a relax with on a weekend. Hunter and Jana think they have a great thing going with the occasional hook up. They are both afraid of commitments, but really are committed without realizing it. When they finally realize they belong together makes everything they went through to get there worth it. I love seeing previous characters from this series and keeping up with them. Another five star story.

Hunter and Jana… they are most definitely my newest favorite couple. They have a love-hate relationship from the start. I must admit it’s that type of relationships that I love reading about. I love reading how a couple’s relationship evolves and changes. This book gave me that and so much more. I am a fan of the way Addison Cole writes, and this book only reinforced that. There are so many great characters in this book. The story is so good that I couldn’t put it down. If you like love stories ...more

Friends with benefits turns into being so much more with this adorable read. I couldn't help but fall in love with Hunter and Jana's story. Commitment is a word neither one of these two understand and it just makes their relationship better. I definitely had my laugh out loud moments and my aww that's sweet moments like I normally do with the wonderful Addison, and I can't wait for more stories of love by the seaside.

Embraced at Seaside might be the hottest Seaside book yet! Anyone who regularly reads my reviews knows I love Melissa Foster/Addison Cole, but I have to say she really outdid herself this time. You can feel the tension from go with Hunter and Jana. Not just between each other but also within themselves. If you're ready for hot but clean romance, then this is one you won't want to pass you by!!!

Seaside is the best place for Summer time.
Love, beach and lovely friends are all you need for summer and decompress from everyday time.
Jana and Hunter have been "friends with benefits" for quite some time, but never wanting to take the next step.

Now things are changing and these two commitment phobes must decide whether they should open up to the new world of coupledoom.

I love this couple and how they are sassy and absolutely fun in their way of finding love. When one bites the other barks and t

This is the story of Hunter Lacroux  who normally prefers the casual fling until he spends a few nights with Jana Garner and everything changes.

Jana is committed to her work, as a waitress , actress, boxer and dancer, but not so committed to men as she has the worst relationships , so has decided that if a man can do it why can’t she.

Jana and Hunter start getting serious fast until they realise that this is fast becomi

Jana Garner has more than enough on her plate. Balancing boxing, dancing, acting, teaching, she has no time, literally, for a relationship. Plus a string of bad breakups in the past also aren't making her quick to commit. Which is great because frequent hookup, Hunter Lacroux, is on the same page.
In fact, somewhere along the line Jana and Hunter stopped sleeping with other people and have only been seeing each other. As Hunter begins to realize this, he also begins to realize that he doesn't wa

Embraced at Seaside is the eighth book in the Sweet With Heat:Seaside Summers Series. Like the seven before it, Addison and her Seaside Girls don’t disappoint!
I love that Addison puts in a disclaimer in the note to readers at the beginning the book...”Please note that this is not an inspirational or wholesome read. This is a true, “Sweet with Heat” and Jana and Hunter’s story begins with a large dose of steam.” This shows how Addison remains true to romance, life and to the characters that lead

Jana Garner has me comparing her to Laila Ali or Ronda Rousey. One thing that impressed me is how she has to juggle so much but you can see her passion for what she wants. Before even meeting Hunter LaCroux, you can tell he’s going to be a “bad” boy. Then once you do meet him, you know it’s true. He certainly keeps Jana on her toes. Loved how he put a spin on things instead of taking her at her word.

It was fun to watch how Hunter operates. He confuses Jana but also confuses himself. Almost as if

There’s more to this story than you think at first. If you’re a Melissa Foster fan you’ve come to expect alpha males with a tender side and smart, sassy females who challenge their heroes on their way to their HEA. But you also get so much more. The “family knows no boundaries” message is there in each book, but it’s presented in an honest way. You get the unconditional support along with a healthy dose of “I wish my family could stay out of my business” as well.

Jana and Hunter are two souls who

This installment in the Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summer series is about sexy, adorable, talented, ladies man Hunter Lacroux and the sweet and sassy dancer/boxer Jana Garner. Along the way in their journey are several familiar characters from the series and of course, some chunky-dunking and hilarious ...more

I am an audiobook junkie. I listen when I work out, when I drive, when I cook, and well…pretty much anytime I can. I’ve always listened to books with only one narrator but Embraced at Seaside is told by two wonderful narrators. We are back in Seaside! And I'm am so happy! but I think that this story is a little different, and instead of just being about finding your partner, it is also about being more comfortable with your adulthood.

Jana Garner’s life is crazy busy with running the dance school while her boss is out of town, She is training with her brother for an exhibition fight, working at the Underground for her other brother and getting her orgasms and sunsets from Hunter Lacroux, which includes her sneaking out
