Vuillard

Rate this book
Best known for his intimate scenes of domestic life, Edouard Vuillard (1868– 1940) was one of the great Post-Impressionist artists. Yet—in contrast to contemporaries such as Bonnard, Matisse, and Gauguin—relatively little has been published about him. The plentiful illustrations are sure to appeal to all fans of Post-Impressionist painting.

The last impressionist? Definitely influenced (as most of these modern painters of his era) by Japanese art. Beautiful.
