WICKED WICKED LOVE is a USA Today Bestseller

After escaping abusive parents and, later, an abusive relationship, Sarah Beckley has spent a lifetime watching snakes shed their skin. With two small children to care for and another on the way, she's finally found a home in Peaceful Harbor with the brother she hasn't seen in more than a decade. She's still searching for her sister, but life is good. If only she could stop thinking about the sinfully sexy doctor/biker who has taken to her children like a loving uncle-and to her like a hungry man.

Trust doesn't come easily for Sarah, but Bones Whiskey is patient and protective, amazing with her children, and he looks at her like she is the only woman he could ever want-and more. With two little ones underfoot, Sarah expects him to move on quickly, yet with every tender kiss and each trying moment with the children, Bones surprises her. But will the fiercely loyal biker stick around when Sarah's worst secret is revealed, or will he shed his skin, too?

"(...) just because you are here in this moment doesn’t mean it is your destiny."
I'm feeling so much right now that it's kind of hard to write everything I want to write. I loved this book, not because it took me away from reality, but because it made me see that reality can change. That good things can happen to good people in this f'd up world. Miracles, some people call it.

Melissa Foster always manages to reduce me to a blubbering mess. It stopped being funny a few books ago, but I can't help myself. I love her books.

"His loving embrace, and the goodness that was Bones Whiskey, was louder than words could ever be."
Bones Whiskey, just like his brothers, is an incredible guy. Like the whole Whiskey clan, he's fiercely protective, loyal, and loving. He's wicked hot, a flirt, and a great guy. He has a wonderful, beautiful heart. And he's a planner, and an overthinker. Until a certain lady waltzes into his life, and no amount of overthinking could have prepared him for it.

"That smile and the love in your eyes…? It makes all the bad in the world seem not quite so harsh."
Sarah is real. Her story was heartbreaking (no spoilers), and I liked that we got bits and pieces of it throughout the book. Like it would happen if she were a real person, sharing her own personal story. Sarah has two kids, is pregnant with a third one, and is living with her brother. Not running away from, but rising above, her past, and moving forward. She's so brave, and strong, and a wonderful mother. And she's scared – if you'd walked in her shoes, you would be, too.

"The person you are is the woman I’m falling for, and whatever it took for you to get here is ours to accept. Not yours, not the kids. Ours."
In the previous book in this series, Bullet Whiskey saved Sarah, her brother, and the kids from the site of an accident. Sarah and Bones met at the hospital, and everything spawned from that. She doesn't share a lot about herself, she's mistrustful, and he's sure there's something bad lurking in her past, but he was done for the moment he met her.
All she needs to do now is let go, and let him in.

"I’ll walk you up."
"No," she said quickly. "I’m fine, really. I just need…" Grasping for an excuse, she decided to go with honesty, because at the moment she was just that pathetic. "To breathe, and you sort of make that impossible."

In good Whiskey fashion, he's irresistible. He's always there for her, pushing her walls further and further, alongside his wonderful family, showing her it's OK. It's OK to love and be loved, and sometimes (and I'd really like to believe that) no other shoe will be dropping.

"When you find the one person who you’re meant to be with, nothing can change it."
This book was particularly important for me as a woman, and I'd like to thank Melissa for it. Sarah’s body is not perfect like you’d see in your usual romance heroine. She has stretch marks from her previous pregnancies, her breasts are not perky and flawless, but none of that matters. Especially to Bones. Not only does it not matter, but he brushes all that away from her mind just by being him.

Ladies, I wish we can all have someone like that in our lives. And, if you already do, hold on to them.

"Wild horses, baby. That’s what it’d take to keep me away."
This book is a journey toward happiness. Bad things happen, good things happen, amazing things happen. Things that will make you all swoony, things that will make you smile and laugh out loud, things that will make you angry, and sad. With each chapter, that journey gets easier, as more love gets added to the mix, until their perfect HEA.

Probably my favorite in the Whiskey series (so far).

“If she couldn’t breathe when he was around, he’d just have to be her oxygen.”

Amazing, kind, good hero. Loved how he loved her and her kids.
I totally understand where the heroine was coming from. She suffered abuse all of her life, I felt so bad for her even with all that abuse she was a good mother, yes at some point I wanted her to let the hero in but let me tell you this hero never hesitated being there for her and the kids, he was constant presence in her life, loved his family, his brothers even though I didn’t read some of the books in this series, his brothers had his back!

I loved how protective he was of her kids. He always asked permission if he wanted to do something for them.
I just can’t say enough good things about him.

4.5 - "There's nothing we can't get through together..." Stars!

The fourth book in Melissa Foster’s The Whiskeys series finally gives us delicious Doctor; Bones Whiskey’s story. Wicked Whiskey Love like its predecessors looks at some of the darker aspect of the human nature in relation to the background of the woman that Bones hands his heart, soul and everything in-between to.

How had she gone from homeless to happy?

We met Sarah Beckley, her children and her brother in the latter stages of the previous Whiskey book, Bullet saved her and her family from a potentially fatal car wreck. Bones being the Doctor of the clan then takes it upon himself (with the rest of them right on his shoulder) to make sure that their healthcare needs are met, and that they are set up comfortably in their new home with as little debt or stress as possible.

"I don’t know what you’ve been through, but I want you to know you have friends here. Friends you can trust. And I hope one day you’ll see me more than that in me."

This is a book of family. The strength of the Whiskey clan, shores up the weaknesses in the Beckley’s. Sarah, is easy to see as a strong and formidable woman, made that way from the mountains she has already had to climb over, but as you get to know her on a more personal level, especially the experiences of her past, and what she as well as her children and siblings have gone through you begin to understand why, even with a spine of steel, she is still vulnerable to emotional entanglements with men, and the reasons for why she finds the whole Whiskey ethos towards family too good to be true.

If only her past would stop casting shadows over her present…

But with Bones’ unflappable and unfailing support, and the rest to his families unequivocal backing she starts to realize that she deserves what they are offering, and with her children flourishing and happy because of it as well, it’s hard to keep seeing the potential negatives.

"You’re starting to clear the darkness from your life…"

I am still relatively new to the awesomeness that is Melissa Foster in regards to the number of books I have read, but one thing that strikes me with this series compared to others is the fact she’s dealing with characters that have come through extreme darkness and lived to tell the tale, even though they may not have completely exorcised their demons at the start of their stories. Through each book, the Whiskey family are the solid foundations that support that story, whether it be for one of their own or someone that they bring into the fold, no questions asked, and with no judgements offered.

"Where have you been all my life… I wish I’d met you years ago."

I loved Bones he is cut from the same cloth as his brothers, Sarah and her kids were the perfect match for the dashing doctor, with a heart of pure solid gold. Easily read as a standalone (although I recommend you read the predecessors) Wicked Whiskey Love is an emotional, heart-breaking, but equally heart-warming read, about family, second-chances and believing you are deserving when good luck and happiness finally comes calling.

"My word is worth its weight in orgasms."

All the awwwws there ever were!!!!! 3.5* rounded up.

Bones met Sarah in the last book when Bullet saved them from a car accident. They've been hanging around but to Bones he definitely wants the dedicated mom. He determinedly pursues her and never wavers in his dedication. I mean NEVER!!He is fantastically sweet, loyal and an awesome friend /father figure to her kids. His every scene with the children caused ovary explosion when they were cute and even when he was covered in puke. I absolutely adored his devotion to Sarah and her kids.

Sarah had a tough life, because of horrid parents she left home at 16 and did some things she wasn't proud of to survive. A strong and dedicated mother is probably my favorite h in a romance,to this day Cher from Hold On is one of my most beloved characters for that same reason so I was fully prepared to love Sarah. She was a bit hesitant with Bones, always waiting for the next shoe to drop but I understood her caution. She was not married to her children's father and was abused by him and eventually raped by his friends. This may have been only my second ever read with an h pregnant by another man, which admittedly is not something I gravitate too, but one can't help but empathize with Sarah and cheer her own to her hea. I would've preferred that she come totally clean with Bones rather than have her ex make it seem as something it wasn't and for her to have been more firm in her dealing with the asshole ex to get him to give up his parental rights but eventually it worked out. I may not have loved Sarah as I did Cher but she was a strong, loving and absolutely devoted mother.

All in all Bones made this book for me,again some of the words used in conversation were a bit unrealistic but I love the Whiskeys and this was a delightful addition to the series.

*Hopefully this author never changes the the covers of these first books they're all gorgeous!

I received this book for free from Author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Melissa Foster returns with another installment in the Whiskey series. If you are unfamiliar with this series, I would say that this series is a bit more darker than her usual style. It features a lot of bad boys who are facing some tough issues as well as heroines who often have a dark past. It’s this baggage that weighs down the storyline a bit more, creating more emotion and depth. That being said, this style is not my favorite of Foster’s, which is why I debated to read this one when I first got it. However, since I read the other books in the series, I wanted to continue and give it another shot.

As expected, it is quite heavy. This isn’t a necessarily a bad thing. I love darker themed storylines, but something about this series doesn’t have the right balance to me. I feel like the dark themes and emotional pasts of the characters aren’t fully carried through in the book, meaning that they are just placed there for the effect of a darker tone, but the actual romance and the personal growth of the characters remains pretty simple. I guess that might attribute to Foster’s simplistic style, but I am always left feeling like everything wraps up too quickly or easily.

4.5 swoon worthy stars

This book touched my heart from the first page, I loved the storyline, it's beautifully written, it will make you smile and swoon on so many occasions but it will also bring a few tears hearing Sarah's story.
I loved watching Bones and Sarah's relationship unfold, it melted my heart the way Bones was so tender and loving not just with Sarah but with her beautiful children as well.
This was one of those books once I started reading I didn't want to put it down, all the characters are likeable, relatable and I found myself falling hard for this beautiful, thoughtful, sexy man called Bones!

I've enjoyed all the books in the Whiskeys series, each book can be read as a stand-alone and I highly recommend them all!

***5 ‘My Ovaries Exploded’ Stars***

Seriously. The swoons in this book are real. So. REAL. But the ovary overload is unreal.
I mean, my ovaries were already going crazy while reading the first book in the series, Tru Blue, and in all honesty they never stopped their quivering because every book after has those ovary exploding moments with the Whiskey’s. But this one? DAMN! This one just about killed me..in the best of ways.

I already loved Bones going into this book. He’s a Whiskey, you love him regardless, but OMG this man...I think adore is an understatement. He is all kinds of alpha AF ~ protective, determined, smexy as all get out ~ but there is this...gentle sincerity to him that just makes you melt and want to cuddle up with him because you know that while he’ll be your shield even as he lets you tackle your own demons.

Sarah is one strong woman, and that is something I knew even before knowing her entire story and after? Well, she’s got some titanium balls on her that’s for damn sure. She’s battled through a lot and it’s left her a little bruised with some pretty high walls constructed around her, but despite the demons she fights, her love for her kids, Bradley, Lila and the peanut growing in her shines through with every breath she takes.

I thoroughly enjoyed Bones and Sarah’s journey to their HEA. It had many moments where I groaned in frustration, but the sweet and swoon worthy moments totally balanced it out. I loved watching Bones get under Sarah’s defences by just being exactly who he is to his very core: honest, loyal, compassionate and a little sneaky as well and showing her through his actions that he is like no one she’s ever met and through his actions how Sarah worked through her own demons. The bumps in their road are intense and the one big one could have become a sink hole, but I loved how everything worked out for them in the end.

As much as I loved Sarah and Bones journey, a good chunk of my love of this book ~ and series in general ~ goes to the Whiskey clan as a whole and all those they call their own. They are the definition of what family means and I love how they have no issue with sticking their noses into situations and giving their two cents and backing each other up, even when the help isn’t asked for. Bradley, Lila, Kennedy and Lincoln were just too adorable for words and Tink was her sweet self. I loved catching up with everyone and getting to know Scott, Sarah’s brother a little better. There are some topics that come up in this one that could be triggers for some, so be warned. And, now to wait to see who the next one on the chopping block will be...will it be Daisy? Or will it be one of the honorary Whiskey’s taking the plunge???

Wicked Whiskey Love was the fourth book in the Whiskeys series by Melissa Foster.

We met Sarah Beckley in Driving Whiskey Wild, book three, when Bullet saved a family from a burning car in a horrific accident. We quickly learned that Sarah was a single mother to two children with one on the way. When the Whiskey’s learned she had no one other than those in the hospital with her, they rallied around her and she instantly became family. We learned quickly that she was guarded and cautious; most likely running from something.

Wayne “Bones” Whiskey was the local oncologist. He was also born and raised as part of the Dark Knights MC and being a protector was ingrained in him from birth. The moment he met Sarah and her kids, he knew she was the one. His protective instincts kicked in and the next months were spent developing a friendship with the skittish and cautious Sarah.

I really liked the storyline. It was well written, well developed and entertaining. It had a serious vibe with Sarah’s past; however, Foster mixed in humor, especially through the children. Foster also included all of the Whiskey clan as a vital part of the plot, adding depth and dimension. Additionally, for the first time in the series, Foster introduced us to a deeper look into the Dark Knights. It was very different from my typical MC reads and it was most definitely not a 1% club, but the same level of bonding, commitment and loyalty was present.

All in all, it was an enjoyable and refreshing read. While developing the storyline, Foster continued to tease us with future stories for Dixie, Scott, Penny, Isabelle, Jed and Quincy. Mad About Moon is up next with Jed and Josie’s story. Bring it on!

The H is absolutely awesome, smart, loving, loyal, understanding...😍
The story gives us enough time to get to know each characters, but still keeps us wanting to know what is going to happen, so the writing is really good!
I also really liked Sarah, though at some point I started thinking « what other bad thing could possibly happen to her now? »

Wicked Whiskey Love is the fourth installment in the “Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Peaceful Harbor” series by Melissa Foster. I haven’t exactly read these books in order, have I? I have really read all the books completely out of order but its not a process in which I would recommend one doing. Now, these all can be read as standalone if needed, however, it may feel like the beginning of some of these books will seem closer to instant love. They aren’t truly instant love (although the vibe may feel like that) if you read the books out of order. What is most fun about this series is each book will give hints and some buildup of the couple featured in the next book. However, if you are like me, then it may seem like they pair together pretty quickly. Not that I have any issue with that, because I don’t. I do have more of a preference to see as much couple-page time as possible and the talent of Melissa Foster is to create such sincerity within her stories.

Bones Whiskey– Doctor, biker and brother in the local MC, strong and silent, protective and an Alpha Cinnamon Roll
Sarah Beckley– Single mother, on the run, making a fresh start
Wicked Whiskey Love begins with our heroine who has settled in Peaceful Harbor, making a fresh start for herself and her two children and a child on the way. Sarah has suffered much in her past, and has made her share of mistakes, but she is striving to make a bright future for her children and making a home in this town that has welcomed them with open arms especially the Whiskey family and most especially the sexy doctor biker “Bones” where she has felt an attraction to ever since she arrived. She knows that there is a possibility of something very real happening between herself and Bones but she also knows that she has a past, one that she has been running from. And she doesn’t know if when the truth comes out, that Bones will be able to accept for who she is or will shun her….but sometimes love is a risk….

“You asked me earlier if I noticed as much about others as I do you,” he said softly. “I’m not sure of the answer. It’s hard not to notice little things about you, like the way you blush when I touch you and the way your love for your children and your strength as a woman radiate like the sun.”

Wicked Whiskey Love is such a captivating book and I fell so hard for this book here, so much that it became a five BLOSSOM star rating and I actually have noticed that this author can easily deliver a story that just works for me in so many ways. I am actually in love with seeing how this author just captivates me so quickly. I used to be so apprehensive in picking up this author because her backlist is so intimidating at times, but I can’t resist grabbing this author up, each time I read her work, I just fall for the charm and sweetness so quickly. And she makes these heroes that are so alpha/cinnamon rolls and its simply delectable. I never knew that I needed a sweet alpha male, but Melissa Foster really pens them so wonderfully. In a way I have never really seen before, there is something so touching about the way these heroes are ALL in for the heroines. And this is definitely the case for Bones. He has always been slow in making his decisions, thinking about every possibility of what is the safest road. But when he meets Sarah, he knows that she is the one for him and isn’t shy about that. He is willing to fight for Sarah no matter how long it takes to convince her of his sincerity and devotion to her and the children. Sarah has been through hell and back and has had to make some painful decisions to survive and I really admired her strength and tenacity to do what needed to be done. And these little kiddies were so charming and knocked my socks off. I will be frank….I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I absolutely adore CHILDREN IN ROMANCE. It honestly is one of my favorite things. And if an author can write it well, it will really work and the way that they are implemented in this one was sweet perfection in a way that delves into the heart in such a relevant way.

“She let me in,” he said truthfully. “If I’m lucky, her mama will, too.”

The romance that we see the build in this one may seem fast-acting in the beginning but is packed with so much depth. I was so overwhelmed by the sense of emotion that strikes a chord deep within the reader that the author is able to provoke. I love such a touching small-town feel to a romance, and this author really touched base with every aspect in such a wonderful way. From the beginning, you can see how much these two feel for each other. But Sarah is afraid to trust in Bones, she has been hurt so badly in her past, but even though she has trust issues, she knows that he would never hurt her and Bones doesn’t disappoint. No matter what she has done and sacrificed, Bones is steady as a rock. He is such a fighter like many of the Whiskey males, he is as solid as they come and HUSBAND material. The way he stands by Sarah and her children, with utter devotion and conviction that they belong together, And as an added plus, Bones takes to fathering like grandmas and pumpkin pie.

Bones says as long as we’re honest with ourselves, shame has no place in our lives.

Overall I found Wicked Whiskey Love to be a book that packs a balance between smexy times that is bound to curl your toes, to deep-felt characters, and a story that has so much heart and provoking emotion deep within its essence. You can’t go wrong with this one and will thank your lucky stars to have discovered such a read.

This series is just everything I love about reading romance. It has super sweet romance; swoony, possessive, protective heroes; strong heroines; awesome secondary characters; hot sex and so much more. And while Tru will always be my favorite I have loved every single one of them. Although they all can be read as standalones I have read them all in order and getting the whole family experience has just added to the joy.

But for now I guess I need to talk about this book. Obviously if you have read the other books you're somewhat familiar with Bones and Sarah. If not Sarah was a pregnant, single mother we met in the previous book, when she is rescued from a car accident by Bullet and is promptly adopted by the amazing Whiskey family members. And Bones is one of the amazing Whiskey brothers, who just so happens to be a doctor.

Bones was the absolute perfect guy for Sarah. And hearing all the heartbreak she had been through while watching them fall in love gave me a major case of the warm fuzzies.

But like always when I finish one of these books I now have to hold my breath waiting for the next one. This series is one I could never get enough of.

I really enjoy this series, this was a good read, entertaining but didn't stand out to me. Sarah has had a hard life. Two kids, a third on the way. A loser ex. Abusive parents he ran from. A missing sister. A just reunited brother.

Trust dont come easy to her and she really wants to trust Bones Whiskey. Since the crash that injured her, her kids and especially her brother he has been amazing. Caring for them, helping them out, growing fond of her and her kids but that trust issue looms big, Huge.

Besides trust issues she has secrets and fears anyone, especially Bones finding out. She knows he wont be able to handle it. She may be wrong....Bones is more than just a sexy doctor, he is a man who loves strong, and he will fight to keep those he loves save and loved.

Ahhhh Bones, I have been looking forward to his story and it was worth the wait. Whether you want to call him Dr. Hottie or Dr. Dreamy doesn't matter because both would be good for him but I would call him Dr. OfMyDreams, yes not only is Bones smart and caring, which you really have to be in order to be a good cancer oncologist, he is loving and kind, he is also loyal and fierce, oh boy the list goes on and on and on with him.

Now Sarah, this mother of two with another bun in the oven has been through hell and back so she isn't trusting anyone let alone the good doctor because 1) she doesn't believe that she deserves it and 2) she's waiting for him to change. This broke my heart but I totally understood where she was coming from. If you have been abused, especially in the ways she has and for as long as she had, it isn't going to be easy for you to trust someone you only met a couple of months ago...believe me. But Bones didn't just say he was going to do something he did it and showed her he could be trusted with not only her but her children as well.

This is the forth book in The Whiskeys Series and although each book can be read as a standalone I would recommend you reading Driving Whiskey Wild which is where Sarah is introduced to the Whiskeys and it will give you a lot of background for this book. If you are a lover of contemporary romance this book is for you. This was a spicy yet sweet romance that definitely pulls at your emotions so be prepared, I would recommend that you have a box of tissues handy because there are quite a few times you will need them. Happy Reading!!!

If I could give this book 10+ stars I would! I friggin LOVE, like LOVE the Whiskey family and Bones' love story just the love I have for them. I laughed so much, I cried, and then I cried because my heart was hurting for the heroine Sarah. As a mother of little children, I could relate to her so much, not what she'd been through, but I could easily put myself in her shoes. She was strong, and she put her children's well-being above ALL else. Bones definitely put in the work to get the girl in this book, and boy was he SWOONWORTHY....OMG....everything he did and said, and the way he went slow when she needed and the took charge when he knew she needed someone to just take the weight she carried for a little while....I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!

If you have not yet read Tru Blue and the Whiskeys, I urge you to 1-click like NOW!! These books are funny, yes, like SO SO FUNNY, but they touch on so much about life and love and family, and if you are a fan of Motorcycle romances, the Dark Knights are sexy, tough and have HUGE hearts of gold! Biggs Whiskey is such a great patriarch and the relationship between the Whiskey siblings (Dixie and Bones at the Toy Store...OMG) will have you wanting to join their family.

Read it, devour it, love it and then read it again. It's funny, sexy, emotional and at time heart-wrenching, but it's also beautiful. Bones definitely surprised me with his huge heart, and delicious smile, and protective nature.

GAHHHH.....WICKED WHISKEY LOVE is hands down one of the best reads of 2018!

Bones and Sarah were great. Bones was so sweet, caring, and giving, almost to good too be true. I loved that he was just goodness and light and a source of comfort and support for Sarah. Sarah had such a rough life and her history was incredibly sad but I loved seeing her open up, trust, and be such a strong, determined woman and mother. It was a journey of self discovery and healing for her. Bones and Sarah together were really adorable and I loved them opening up and sharing, and being vulnerable. There was also a lot of emotion mixed in as it all played out, I really felt for these two.

The writing was really good and I thought there was good progression throughout. I thought it was a smooth and easy read. There is some heavier content touched upon but it was pretty drama free for the most part. It’s a story about two wonderful people coming together with all these wonderful moments and interactions mixed in. Anything to do with Sarah's kids pretty much had me smiling. There were so many cute and fun scenes.

There's a big cast of characters in play. I've only read one other story in the series so at times it did get confusing but they were all really likable. They added a wonderful family and friends element that was really inviting.

This was a truly heartfelt and sweet story about moving forward and hope with wonderful characters. It made me happy to read and by the time I got to the HEA, I was smiling big time. It made me feel super sappy and I loved it.

I have been a big fan of this series and this book did not disappoint.

Bones Whiskey is a member of the Dark Knight and a doctor as well. His character has always intrigued me and I couldn’t wait to read his book. Bones has taking a liking to Sarah. Sarah is a mother of two and with one on the way. She is a newbie to Peaceful Harbor. I loved the way Bones was with Sarah and her kids. He was sweet, loving, loyal and protective.

Sarah has a horrible backstory and no matter what she did she couldn’t catch a break and is now always waiting for the other shoe to drop. I wanted to reach in and give her a big hug. Her story gutted me. I loved how the whole gang took her and her kids in and treated them like family.

““So I know how passionately I need to love you to wash away the memories of him.”

Bones was so patient and understanding when it came to her reservations. I loved how Sarah evolved and got the help that she needed and had a wonderful support system as well.

This series by Melissa Foster is one of my favorites. Aside from the wonderful writing I love how she doesn’t do the typical stereotype that bikers are bad people and cause trouble. The Dark Knights are about protection and making sure people do the right thing. Taking care of their family. I love everything they represent and this was my second favorite book after “Tru Blue”,the next book will be about Sarah’s sister, Josie and I’m curious to read her story and see more of the gang.

4 1/2 Stars

I want to rate this 4 stars but I think I’m gonna stick to 3.5
I was really disappointed with the ending, I didn’t even realize the epilogue was the epilogue. I thought it was just the last chapter before the epilogue, and was MAJORLY disappointed when I turned the page and it was over. So many things I wanted to see throughout the story that I thought for sure would happen in the epilogue didn’t happen at all. The baby isn’t even born by the end! I feel like if you start a story where the h is pregnant, she needs to have the baby in that book, unless your going to have another book SPECIFIC to them. I’m just really disappointed with this one, especially because it has so many of my favorite elements!!

I really enjoyed this! Bones was the perfect mix of hot possesive alpha and sweet stand in baby daddy. This is a really long book and it's a bit soft and mushy in places but overall another great addition to this series. Looking forward to reading Josies story!

I licked him, Bones is Mine! #BonesIsMine

Oh my Bones! I never thought that any of Melissa Foster's guys could make me question my undying love for Tru, but Bones Whiskey is sure giving him a run for his money.

Wicked Whiskey love gave me all the feels. I couldn't help but laugh, smile and at times shed a tear or two.

But mostly, Bones made me swoon. Like, completely weak at the knees, ovaries exploding swoon.

I adore Sarah and her family, however to me this book is all about Bones. He is everything. E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G.

It has been hours since I finished this book, but I can't stop thinking about it.

Sarah is a strong, protective, amazing mother and you can't help but fall for her and her kids. And watching #MyBones with her and Bradley and Lila just makes this girl want to be Sarah.

There is a little bit of drama, but nothing over the top, and nothing that is dragged out just for the sake of it.

It was wonderful to get more of the Whiskey guys and their families. I want to be friends with them so much.

Wonderful, sweet, romantic - Wicked Whiskey Love was the perfect romantic story for me.

I can't wait to see what Ms Foster brings us next.

Whilst this isn't my first Whiskey book, I'm not up to date with the series either. BUT, I think this one will be my fave, if not it's going to be high up there, because how on earth can you beat Bones Whiskey? There is some high level swoon going on in this book.

Bones is everything. Literally. Everything. Good lord almighty I need to find me a man like that. He's smart, sexy, protective, he accepts Sarah AND her kids, and just, gah! I'm at a loss for words, this character is just that good.

Sarah is also a strong female with lead, with a horrible backstory and history. For her to come through what she has, and to learn to trust Bones, whilst making a better life for herself and her children is a hell of an accomplishment, and no one should EVER, have to go through what this character has. There is a lot of truth behind her character, compared to our real world, and it's horrible that others truly do go through this things in their lives. I can only hope they come on the other side on top.

We also get all the rest of the Whiskey family, who you can't help but love, and I truly enjoy all their family moments, and the bonds that they all have. Scott, Sarahs brother is in this too, and I can't help but hope he's getting his own book soon, due to some of the, what I hope were hints, dropped in this one. I want to know more about he and Sarah's other sister Josie as well, and I think we shall be seeing more of her in the future too.

And then there are Bradley and Lila. Those damned kids are adorable. I was swooning over Bones and his care and love towards these adorable little monkeys, and they are the cutest things ever! I loved how much they were a part of this story.

Melissa is also great at not dragging out any unneeded angst, and dealing with situations between our couples in a thought out, detailed, yet wonderful way, and I love that she deals with things in this particular way. Its plays out just right and has no unnecessary parts.

This was such a great book that I devoured it in about 24 hours, and I cannot wait for more from this family. Hold on to your hats ladies, because Bones Whiskey is one amazing man, and you're going to be swooning all over the place with this one!

I'm so crazily in love with this series!

I can't get enough of the Whiskeys and the surrogate Whiskeys. These books are as sweet as they are intense, and all you can do is fall in love with the characters.

Wayne Whiskey, aka Bones, is the epitome of the good bad boy. He is all alpha and protective, he loves fiercely and gives himself with all his heart. He is the one who does everything right for the others, even if the right thing is being violent and scary.
He is also loving, patient and a total "ovaries exploder".

Sarah Beckley is a survivor. She lived a childhood from hell with her brother and sister, and had to leave at the age of sixteen, completely innocent but fighting for a better life.
But luck only smiled at her years and years later, and until then she had to face the unthinkable.
She was comprehensively guarded and lived only for her babies (her two toddlers and the other one on the way).
But she realized it was getting harder and harder to resist the Whiskey charm, specially when Bones's attention was also focused on her kids with so much tender and love.

With Bones and his family, Sarah, her brother Scott and her children were finally starting to understand what real life and real love were like.

She overcame so much along her life, she was such a strong and resilient heroine, and when she found out she was worth being loved, she discovered a whole new life.

This book brought some tough subjects like abuse (parental abuse and abusive relationships), but it did so with so much sensitivity it was enticing to read. This kind of topic is so important to bring around, and the author showed it brilliantly.

This was probably the most beautiful book in this series and it touched me so deeply.

As I said before, I'm in love with this series. I'm in love with the characters, and I can't wait for the next one, and the next one, and the next one...

4.5 Dr. Dreamy stars

Wicked Whiskey Love is my first ever Melissa Foster book and it just slayed me. Bones and Sarah’s story was just as heart-melting as it was heart-rending. I didn’t expect how intensely emotional Sarah Beckley’s past would be or how swoon-worthy Bones Whiskey’s alpha tendencies would be. Nor did I see the sheer adorableness of Sarah’s three-year-old son, Bradley, and 11-month-old daughter, Lila, coming.

“I want to make love to you until I feel every beat of your heart, and until every breath you take joins with mine.”

I actually loved Bones Whiskey. I loved his sweet and tender, albeit protective streak. He was definitely an alpha through and through, but one with a golden heart. Looking from the outside, he’s probably some kind of grizzly bear you’ll want to steer clear of. But deep inside, he’s a huge teddy bear who will do everything he can for the people who matter the most to him—his family, the brotherhood, and Sarah and the kids. Not to mention, he’s also a freaking doctor. This biker saves lives and I’m all for it!

Sarah Beckley, on the other hand, had a very rough start in life. I couldn’t even fathom the things she went through. Being a single mom to two kids and with another peanut on the way is tough enough, but this girl... she was both an angel and a warrior. She showed time and again just how brave and strong she was to pull through every curveball life threw her way and care for her kids at the same time. With every piece of her past she revealed, I thought things couldn’t have gotten any worse, yet she continued to prove me wrong. It did get worse, but that was until she ended up with the Whiskey brothers. With the Dark Knights. And it was the best thing to ever happen to her. She just needed to lower her guards back down, learn how to trust again, and let Bones in.

“Sometimes it’s not the length of time you’ve known someone that matters. It’s what they see and appreciate in you that others never have.”

Wicked Whiskey Love wasn’t as dark or gritty as the other MC romances I’m used to reading—it was more on the sweeter side as it focused more on the history and life of the heroine, and how she fit into the Dark Knights MC that Bones belongs to—but I definitely felt all the emotions jumping off the pages of this book. I enjoyed getting to know the characters, and it certainly intrigued me enough about the other brothers that I just want to binge on the previous books and know their stories right away.

I love the Whiskey Series. A tight knit biker family, who are always there for each other. Melissa Foster didn't disappoint with Wicked Whiskey Love. You're guaranteed to fall in love with Bones Whiskey. Sweet, sexy and protects what's his. .
"The man was a walking ovary explosion." .
Don't even get me started on how much he loves Sarah. 😭🖤
"I don't know what you've been through, but I want you to know you have friends here. Friends you can trust. And I hope one day you'll see more than that in me." .
All the feels. .

I don't tear up often, but Wicked Whiskey Love made a crier out of me. Foster showed life at it's ugliest and triumph at it's most inspiring. Sarah is not just a victim, she's a survivor. She found the courage to fight for herself and make a better world for the people she loved most. They say people enter your life at the time you need them most. Bones was a catalyst for her inner heroine breaking free. I enjoy reading stories that mean something. The tale of Bones and Sarah is made all the more powerful because it's realistic, inspiring and gripping.

Audiobook Review: Wicked Whiskey Love by Melissa Foster (Author), Erin Mallon (Narrator), Zachary Webber (Narrator)

WOW! I have yet to pick my heart up off the floor. Wicked Whiskey Love is the type of story that's hard to forget. Having read Sarah and Bones' emotion packed journey in the past, I knew what to expect, but experiencing the audio gave me chills. Mallon and Webber bring to life an already powerful tale of heartbreak. Through the eyes of a battered heart and a bruised body, Melissa Foster provided the words, that inspired the hope, that feeds the journey and gives a voice to those living in silence.

I’m not sure where to begin my review of Melissa Foster’s latest novel, Wicked Whiskey Love, because I think for the first time in my life, I am completely speechless. This one is going to tug at your heartstrings, make you laugh, make you cry, and touch on just about every emotion possible. This wonderful novel is about Bones Whiskey, the sexy doctor, biker, and overall perfection. Bones takes an instant liking to Sarah and her young children Bradley and Lila but moreover, the fact that Sarah is pregnant does nothing to stop Bones’ feelings from getting stronger and stronger. Sweet, beautiful, and loving Sarah is grateful since meeting the Whiskey family and their significant others, but struggles with trust and security. But the more time she spends with Bones and the more incredible things he does for her and her children, the harder it gets to fight what her heart is telling her.

Sarah, her brother Scott, and their sister Josie had a horrible and abusive upbringing, each of them fleeing their parents’ home at various stages in life. Sarah did things that she wasn’t proud of to survive and also met Lewis. Although he gave her the most precious things in her life – her children – he left Sarah unsure about people and very protective of her heart. Melissa Foster takes the readers on a roller coaster ride of emotions with Sarah in this story. This young woman has suffered several times and at the hands of several different people. The reader gets flashbacks of Sarah’s past, goes through her ever-changing emotions as her relationship with Bones develops, and is front row and center to her struggles and bravery as she finally faces, accepts, and puts her past behind her.

Don’t let me scare you off of this one thinking it’s just a big emotional trainwreck, because it is not. The signature Whiskey family love, support, and humor are prominent in this one, including several laugh-out-loud moments, as well as, countless moments that will make your heart swell. All of the kids definitely make this one special, especially numerous moments between Bones, Bradley and little Lila. If you already have baby fever, this will make it worse. If you thought you were done wanting children, this will make you question your choices! There is just too much cuteness to take between this big, bad, sexy bikers and all of the little munchkins running around!

Overall, all I can say is, wow. I feel as if Foster stepped a little outside of her own comfort zone with this one, earning even more of my respect then she already had. I am in awe of this woman and the depths of emotion that she reaches within her novels and her characters. I’ve said this before, well actually, several times, but I know without a doubt that this is my favorite book that she has ever written. Wicked Whiskey Love will make you absolutely certain that love can conquer all and that good beats evil. Although it is a fiction novel, I can’t help but think that it might give women hope out there that are in dangerous or unpleasant situations, just as Sarah sharing her story gave hope to so many in the novel. What a fantastic book!

Ladies (and gentlemen) prepare to melt while reading this book. Bone is going to melt your hearts and panties. I want a Bone for myself because he was an amazing person who did nothing but love Sarah and her three children. He wasn't bothered that she was pregnant with another man's baby, he was always trying to help her handle everything and was there for her in a way that no one had been ever before. He was acting like a dad to Lila and Bradley and he never made me feel like they were an afterthought to him. He was just the right person for Sarah. Sarah's character for some parts of the book was more on the background and I don't mean that in a bad way. We don't get her full story until very late, but halfway through the book, we find out more about her and how she ended up alone and in the hospital in the previous book. Honestly, from the way she talked I thought that she was an escort and each child had a different father (yes I have a very wild imagination sometimes)!

The book is a collection of tiny gems. Some scenes were emotional, others were a picture of what a happy family is supposed to look like and others were the characters main and secondary. They made the book great. To be honest the book overall, for some reason isn't wow for me. But I also know that these gems made me love every minute I spend reading it and feel like it deserves 5 stars. I am very satisfied with the book. We didn't have an instant connection, but I slowly began to love the book and mostly Bones. I will love every extra minute we will get when the next book arrives.

The book can be read as stand-alone, but you should be aware that we have a lot of secondary characters in this story and you might feel a little lost. The series so far was an average of 4.5 stars so I can safely recommend to begin the series from book one. And speaking of books will Gemma and Scot get one? Why do we have to wait for their turn(s?). I wonder if they are going to end up together or each will find another person to love.

Minor spoiler about triggers below:
I feel like I am obligated to mention that there is a rape scene in this book and more than a couple of mentions of other instances. I know that's a trigger for some people and I think you might want to stay clear. It's not detailed, it certainly put an awful image in my mind. There is also domestic abuse mentioned.
