Seal Rap, I'd never expected this...

it's another cute, outlandish Boy's Love story, and the romance takes place in the Arctic Ocean, between a polar bear and a seal? How can a predator and a prey manage to hook it up!?

Plus there is a female(?) Emperor Penguin shows up! What will happen among the trio next!?

On the one hand this could be a great series for showing diverse types of relationships, but the fact is, even if in this case Polar Bear is nice, the fact is Seal is still scared of him, though then again, he is scared of most things. I just wasn't keen on how Cathy instantly told Polar Bear to keep trying for Seal and told Seal not to be worried because Polar Bear is her type and seems nice. She has no idea of Seal's history with Polar Bear. I feel given this is filed in the children's graphic novel section (and could be read by teens most likely) it is not 100% the best indicator of healthy relationships. It could be done better.
The illustrations are cute though.

As a person who has watched anime in the past, it never occurred to me to read a manga, especially since a lot of those shows are based off of those Japanese graphic novels. Recently, I read my very first manga series, "A Polar Bear in Love" by Koromo, and it’s a cute story that’s great for beginner readers, but it’s best to take it with a grain of salt.

We are introduced to two new characters, Orca & Cathy.
Idk how i feel about their relationship so far but they're funny together!
I found Cathy hilarious when she slapped some sense into Polar Bear & Seal.
Even Orca is trying to teach Seal how to swim now & he's got a better chance at learning since they have similar body structure (A.K.A. tail).

Polar Bear & Seal's relationship hasn't moved an inch and I feel like it will stay that way...
