Rocky Mountain Cowboy Christmas is book one in the Rocky Mountain Cowboys series by Katie Ruggle.

This was a great holiday read. We are taking to a small town in Colorado. I liked all the characters, the kids that play important roles, and the ranch.

Camille is quiet, withdrawn, and almost to hermit statues. I have a new understanding of awkward and embarrassed; because of her. She’s an artist and specializes in metals and sculpting. Watching her personality unfold was fun. Steve knew exactly how

This totally got me in the Christmas mood! There were so many good things in this story!

Camille, the heroine is described as a socially awkward hermit who spends all of her time creating beautiful pieces of artwork out of metal. I really wish I could have seen some of these pieces in real life based off of the way they were described. I was fascinated by Camille.

Steve, the hero is a cowboy, volunteer fireman, a widower with 4 very smart kids and one of them also suffers with social anxiety. He

Christmas, the time for miracles, magic and feel good reading! Katie Ruggle’s ROCKY MOUNTAIN COWBOY CHRISTMAS is all that and more as one eccentric hermit finds her heart burning brightly for a widowed firefighter and his wickedly amazing kids!

Do you like a read that gives you a little mystery along with the light-hearted moments? You’ll love the awkward flirting, the hit and miss kisses and the warmth of one very protective man who has found his second chance at a forever love right in his own

Steve Springfield was a secondary character from Katie Ruggle’s previous series and he now has his own story. As a firefighter in the past two series, he’s moved back to his home town of Born, Colorado on the family ranch to escape the dangers that went down back in Monroe. Raising his four children as a single dad offers enough excitement without adding murder and mayhem to the mix. Back home, he and the family are very busy with their Christmas tree business and gift shop. The ranch

I really enjoy Katie Ruggle's romantic suspense series and Rocky Mountain Cowboy Christmas is not only a holiday read, but the first novel in a brand new series. Family, friends and a wonderful setting quickly pulled me into this heartwarming story.

I vaguely remember reading about Steve when the author wrote her stories set in Monroe, Colorado so it was with great anticipation that I cracked open this book. Let’s face it who doesn’t view firefighters as heroes and the author takes that idea and adds her own unique twist.
Camille is a loner and quite content to live by herself following her artistic dreams until one night a blast from the past ‘ apparently ‘ comes to her rescue. Steve remembers the sweet, quirky girl from s

OMG. Rocky Mountain Cowboy Christmas is the best holiday book I've ever read. I have a new understanding of awkward and embarrassed or introvert. Also, these people have a proper appreciation for bacon.

The world is similar but not exactly the same as other romantic suspense by this author. It is set in a small Colorado town. The ch

I love me a Christmas and Cowboy book. I love theme books, I love holiday theme books, I love holiday theme audio books. I love single daddies!

I believe this book could fit you if you are in the mood for it.

Vanessa Daniels has a mature voice. So she fit the Heroine in this book. I imagined a mid-thirties kind of gal. I prefer a higher pitch voice, but she didn’t hinder my listening experience. She just sounded seasoned if you know what I mean.

I love slow burn books in audio format,
Another DNF.

Contains three tropes I can't stand:
1) Hero fell in love with, married, and had kids with another woman who died
2) Heroine has a nosy elderly neighbor that she allows to treat her like shit
3) Heroine is really shy gets flustered and babbles around everyone, but especially the H

I'll definitely read more of Katie Ruggles's books, but this one isn't a good fit for me.

Widower Steve Springfield has recently moved back to his hometown of Borne with his 4 children. A firefighter for Borne, he is called on to search for a missing person. When he finds out who they are searching for it takes him back and he remembers the young shy artist.

Camille Brandt is horrified when she finds out people are searching for her as a missing person when she isn't and the attention that is about to come. She is also surprised that the person who finds her first is Steve Springfiel
"Steve-Freakin'-Springfield!" Camille awkwardly calls her high school crush to his face. I feel the same. A single-dad firefighter cowboy... be still my heart, right? Oh yeah, I'm right. Another adorable, humorous, slightly spicy slow burn romance in the crisp winter of Colorado mountain country.

Rocky Mountain Cowboy Christmas is the beginning of a new series. However, if you are a person who prefers to read from the beginning if there is even a slight connection to previous books then let me gi
This was cute and although awkward at times, it didn't make me uncomfortable reading it.
I listened to the audio and the reader, Vanessa Daniels, was perfect.

Steve and Camille remember each other from High School but never really knew each other back then because of 3 years age difference. He had thought she was cute but too young and she never had the courage to approach him. In fact she is so socially awkward that she is practically a hermit.
But she is also a respected metal artist who sells h
DNF Chapter Whatever.

I wasn't 100% sure about this book. The blurb mentions shy and inexperienced Heroine and a Hero with marriage experience and children. I hate this uneven balance between main characters. But I tried it, because I really liked Katie Ruggle's series "Search and Rescue".

And I should've stayed far away from this book. My irritation rose as I read more pages.

I hated the brother of the Hero. He was creepy! Trying to seduce the Heroine (whom he knew all his life) only because his

Rocky Mountains are supposed to be idyllic and peaceful, which is exactly what Steve planned when he moved his four children from the chaos of their home town. A Christmas tree ranch and shop is the perfect place for them to grown up. Settled in as a fire fighter in town, Steve runs into Camille when she needs "rescued". Except his version of a rescue is her version of hell. Camille loves her solitude and doesn't handle being the center of attention well. Spar

This is a start to a new series, but Steve was mentioned in the previous ones since he is a firefighter. But he left that town and went back to his family's ranch with his 4 kids. And let the new series begin.

Steve was a great guy. A good dad. And yes a cowboy, and you know that is my weakness in romance.

His love interest is Camille. The local hermit who never interacts with people if not necessary. She is an artist and she is absolutely adorkable! I adored her. She was awkward, but funny. Shy,

Steve is a spin-off character from the Rocky Mountain K9 Unit Series where he was a minor, supporting character. A practically perfect Christmas romance with a hermit, a firefighter, bad flirting, a cranky cat, wickedly smart kids, Christmas trees, and oh yes, a nasty stalker. I've been waiting ages for fireman Steve to get his story and Katie Ruggle did not disappoint.

As a proudly cranky introvert, I loved that not only was Camille shy and awkward, so was "Steve-freaking-Springfield"! Steve and Camille's mutually awkward and sweet crush was simply adorable. Even his kids noticed the two had no game. One

Combine a single dad, a small town, 4 adorable kids, and an awkward artist and you have Rocky Mountain Christmas Cowboy! Steve is back in his small home town of Born and working on his family's Christmas tree farm. He is a widow with 4 kids and is settling into life back home with his brothers. Camille is the town hermit. She is social awkward and quirky. I loved her! There were times her uncomfortableness in social situations was so relatable! And I totally agree with her-if you can find a way

Steve's story was worth the wait.....

If your an avid Katie Ruggle fan like I am you know how long I have been waiting for Steve's story and I have to say I just loved it even though the ending shocked the heck out of me it was a huge wow it was also a very magical story and the Christmas backdrop was just perfect.
This story was full of wonderful characters and some surprising twists I didn't see coming, I'm looking forward to more Rocky Mountain Cowboys in the future.

Having read several of this author's works before, I had weathered a lot of ups and downs with her various series, but have enjoyed them on the whole and have become a fan of her work. Imagine my surprise when this one changed the dynamic

The kids that he's raising are hilarious and curious, shy and intelligent. I loved that the kids played such a major role in this story. Steven's brother

This one had more romance and less suspense than Ms. Ruggle's usual books. Liked how the relationship built, not just between the H/h, but between the heroine and the widowed dad's four children. Loved the supporting characters in this one. And, as a shy person myself, I totally related to the heroine. "Steve-Freaking-Springfield" turned out to be as wonderful a hero as I hoped he would be, based on his appearances in other Katie Ruggle books.

I'll admit it. I'm a Christmas romance movie / Christmas romance story junkie. Witness the hours I glue myself to the Hallmark  Christmas movie marathon. So I consider myself a connoisseur of Christmas romances. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, a holiday romance with a touch of suspense. I was like a kid in a candy shop.

Katie Ruggle always knows how to reel her readers in; great characters, fabulous world building and a captivating plot, will do it every time. Steve and Camille’s story is packed with fun, awkwardness, four fabulous kids, and finding a future where you least expect it. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves a HEA.
I enjoyed all of the author's Rocky Mountain K9 series, so I was really looking forward to reading this book. I loved the CO mountain setting, and the fact that Steve is a volunteer firefighter, a caring and competent single dad, and an all-around great guy. Camille, although having serious hermit tendencies and social anxiety was also no pushover, and managed her life quite competently. When I saw Katie Ruggle and cowboys, I said, “Yes please, sign me up for an advance copy of this one!” True to form, Ruggle delivers action packed suspense and steamy romance with a side of laugh-out-loud humor and a great deal of heartstring tugging, but this time with small-town charm, nosey neighbors and outlandish, but hilarious gossip. And cowboys. Ooo! And firemen.

Camille has lived in Borne all her life. For years is was just her and her grandma, but now it’s her, her artist's workshop and

Steve-freaking-Springfield! Longtime fans of Katie Ruggle have been waiting for this book since Steve’s kids were rescued in On His Watch. Steve is the hot single dad/firefighter (with four kids) who has been on the periphery of the last eight (?!?!) Katie Ruggle novels. Finally, with the start of a new series, Steve got his well deserved Happily Ever After.

After moving two times in the last few years, Steve has finally settled his kids back in his hometown at family Christmas tree ranch with hi
