I love books about space. I'm fascinated by space itself, but also by what the modern exploration of space means for religion in the near future. This is one the reasons I'm so interested in the flat earth debate -- it's not about the shape of the Earth, but it's about what the belief in which shape means in terms of religion and faith. It's a battle between God and, the new modern God, Science. My favourite battle! I think it all started with some juvenile non-fiction in my school library -- a Catholic school! -- that mentioned Galileo's trial for heresy. And there you go: obsession 4 LYFE.

HIGHLY recommended for kids, adults, space nuts, readers of juvenile non-fiction, and lovers of SCHOLASTIC. This book and books of its kind are great for people who need A LOT happening on a page. It is full of images, sidebars, tidbits, nuggets, and whathaveyous! :)

Cool (mildly outdated in 2024) space book. Great for newbies like me who need beautiful pictures to digest factoids.

I would consider this book to be very helpful, it had good facts. Every page was full of helpful and resourceful information about astronomy that was both interesting and helpful. Despite the fact that I didn't really need to know or learn about space, it was still helpful and engaging to read and learn about astronomy. It was resourceful and interesting
