Nora Lord is our main support who was stricken with Dysphagia and can't take pills.
Ironically she was found dead and you guessed it , pills were involved.

Shelves: mystery
Love the characters. Good mystery, too. And, of course, though I've only been there a few times and never for more than 2 or 3 days, I love LA.

Gripping drama

Holds your attention from page 1. Easy plot to follow with unexpected twists and turns. You develop a sense of hope that Jason fills the void in his life. Justice served in the end, however.

Good story, well told book!

I enjoyed reading this book and will be reading the next one! Good story and characters that are well defined without a lot of unnecessary garbage. And for the record, I listen Josh. Very well written book imho. And I read a lot of books.

GOOD BOOK, BUT NEEDED EDITING.

The are a few run on sentence's, that a good editor would have caught. But, other than that, the book was good.

This story is about an up and rising singing star Nora Lord who is found dead in her hotel room by the maid after a big party. Everyone thinks it is a suicide, everyone but Detective Jason Chance. How is Assemblyman Lyle Powell connected? Who keeps following Chance around? Why are they following his daughter? Is ...more

Great read

Detective Chance is a complex character and the author does an outstanding job of drawing the reader in as his character develops. Thank you.
