It’s a simple request…

Sam's mother needs him to pretend to date a pretty kindergarten teacher named Riley who has been dumped by her jerk of a boyfriend.  The one thing he cannot do is say no to his mom so of course he agrees.  He’s on vacation after all and it’s only a few nights.  He’ll make the other guy jealous and then head back home.

But it has become way more complicated…

Sam discovers he really likes Riley.  A whole hell of a lot.  She’s the kind of woman he could get serious about.  If he was the kind of guy who got serious.  But he’s not.  They’ll have one week of unforgettable romance and passion but in the end he’ll have to walk away.   No matter how much he wants to stay.

A pretend date with a kindergarten teacher turns into so much more for movie star Sam Collins. Sam is in his mid-forties and has a failed marriage under his belt and no plans to repeat. That is until kindergarten teacher Riley Bridges comes up pregnant from their one night stand.
Sam is a protector and wants to do the right thing. Riley doesn’t want him if he isn’t all in. He is going to have to come to terms with the past in order to have a future.
I really enjoyed this story. Riley doesn’t let Sam get away with less than his best and his best is pretty darn great.

Wonderfully romantic

Sam was on vacation and visiting his mother when she comes up with a scheme to help her friend. Riley teaches kindergarten in their small town. She'd been dating a well to do man when one of her best friends makes a point of stealing him away. Now she's caught up in their relationship because everyone thinks she's heartbroken. Truthfully she was never in love with him and now she just wants the drama to stop. Sam's mother comes up with the brilliant idea of Sam acting like her boyfriend. It takes some persuading but they finally give in to the idea. What started out as unreal quickly turns into a real romance. Love the characters and loved the story.

Another great book in this series - I said before I didn't enjoy the book about Nate and Paige but this was perfect, such a great premise and I loved all the digs at the "drama" carried on by the actor friends.

Loved it - will there be another one?

Another brilliant love story

To have the love and approval of your mother in law is always a bonus, especially if she hand pick you for her son. In this case mother truly knew best. Sam and Riley is perfect together. Olivia's books are always a Pleasure to read.

Love at its Best

A true love story. It has all the makings of a true romance. Characters were real and story line was great.

A surprisingly sweet romance that I really enjoyed! Who would have guessed that Sam would meet his match in a kindergarten teacher. I really liked seeing him finally open up. They have great chemistry, and I liked how they interacted. I was hoping to see karma play a role at some point for the couple at the beginning, but the story was still great.

A fake relationship? Sure what could go wrong, right? Mom setting you up with a girl? That's gonna work, sure.
But it does work and some things that do go wrong turn out to be so very right.
So what Sam is a movie star and has a bad taste for love and marriage. Riley is a school teacher and a friend of his moms but love won't be stopped.
