A captivating collection of short stories from (mostly northern) California game wardens. Great stories written in a very appealing way. Each chapter is one story. Every story is a page turner. Terry Hodges is a local author, and I'm going to look for the rest of his books. I love the great outdoors in northern California, and reading true stories from places I've been to, adds to my own experience of the area, and gratitude to those who take such excellence care of our wildlife.
