Dated, way too bogged down in statistics and politically correct crap, but a good picture book of America's summer pastime.
"Ed Delahanty was one of the most powerful hitters in the early National League...But Delahanty was also a powerful drinker, and in 1903, trying to board a train while drunk, he fell into the Niagara River and was swept over the falls."
