I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you! The expected release is on July 10th.

I chose this book because it mentions six brothers. That can only mean one thing, that this is likely the start of a series. As I am a big fan of a good series, I picked up this book with high hopes.

This story delivers exactly as advertised. The chemistry between Beckett an

Another great book by Lee Kilraine! This one was a bit steamier than her typical but just as satisfying! I loved the backstory these two had and how they fought their desire and attraction regardless of how hot it burned. The story, along with the characters, was well developed and enjoyable. And Kilraine has a way of weaving family into her stories, making you want more of them. Can't wait for the next book in this series! ...more

Absolutely LOVED this book!!! Loved the chemistry between Beck and Sam even though they both tried to fight it. Loved Lila and how she manipulated the situation to get Beck and Sam together. LOVED reading about all the other brothers; can't wait to read their stories!

My only hesitation with giving this story 5 stars is that I feel like I've read Beck's back story before. I even went back through to make sure I hadn't read another book by this author and was confusing the two. There is another bo

Let me start off by saying I have read (and loved) all previous books by Lee Kilraine. This is the first book in this new series about 6 brothers who own their own construction business. (I am already looking forward to the next ones!!) This one took me a few chapters to fully get into it, but once I did, I loved this story!
Beckett and Samantha both work in the construction/interior design business. They have met previously (that’s all I’m saying) and now don’t really get along well. A lady has

Well let's see. Sam and Beck, Beck and Sam. Add in their respective businesses, Becks brothers who are partners with him in their construction company, Sam with her own design business, toss in a hockey team owners esoteric, feng shued, chi loving wife who hires them both to work on their new home because she things their yin and yang will compliment each other, with a deadline of 5 months and their reputations riding on it, not to mention finances and there you have book one of the Thorne Broth ...more

Oh, how cute was this?!!! It's a perfect way to start the beginning of a promising series. I mean, 6 brothers and a twist....sounds pretty perfect to me.

Beckett (Beck) is the eldest of the Thorne brothers. He's been the "leader" of the group since before he turned double digits and he's carried the "burden" ever since. Being in control is something he needs in order to get through. Something he's learned from a very young age. So when the opportunity arises to land a huge construction/design co

I really enjoyed Beckett Thorne and Sam(Samantha) Devine's love story. Beckett runs a construction company with his many Thorne brothers. Samantha runs a design business with her best friend Margo. I enjoyed the inner dialogue that each character had throughout the story line which at times gave me a good laugh. A little steam, romance, family discord, combined with some rough aspects of growing up made this book a 5 star intriguing read. ...more

**Copy provided to Bayou Book Junkie for my reading pleasure in hopes of an unbiased opinion, a review was not a requirement.**

Give It Up is the first book in Lee Kilraine’s Thorne Brother series. Beckett is the oldest brother in the family and he takes that position very seriously. Too seriously. The Thorne brothers did not have a good childhood but as adults they’re making a life and family for themselves.

This book is full of easy to love characters! I loved Beckett and his brothers. I loved

I am absolutely, head over heels in love with these Thorn Brothers and this new series!! Please don't make me wait long for more. I've read several books by this author and this series just cements me as a huge fan. Her writing style is fun and relaxed, her characters lovable but flawed and this band of brothers she's created are just yummy. Each with there own bit of quirky but yummy just the same. Strong story of love and family

Give it Up is the first book and an impressive start for Lee Kilraine's Thorne Brothers series. The story grabbed my attention from the very start and kept it through to the Epilogue.
Sam and Beck are both well developed likable characters as were all of the Thorne brothers and I look forward to their stories.
I received an advance reader copy from Netgalley.

This is a good start to what I hope will be an amazing series. Beckett is the oldest of the Thorne Brothers. He takes being the oldest to heart. He loves his brothers and they are the only ones he trusts. He is very protective of them. He takes on the burden of decisions and problems. Their childhood was harsh and they were separated until he was old enough to get everyone together with the exception of one brother. The start SBC( Six Brothers Construction) and things are looking up. They are vy ...more

This one was funny! Sam's inner monologue cracked me up! And watching Beckett slide into love by accident and then panic also gave me a satisfying chuckle. There are some really lovely sibling relationships in this one, and Lee Kilraine did a great job investing you in their struggles. I do have one bone to pick. I understand that as a writer you don't want to get in trouble with licencing issues. BUT she named Raleigh's hockey team the Roughnecks. As a Raleigh girl, we are very proud of our spo ...more

Beck's woman has no problem calling him out, "you heard me. That wasn’t ***, that was servicing. I want a do-over. Right now.” Beck you know, sometimes acts like a wild animal, “I want ,” I growled and hauled her in and made wild, desperate love to her." Beck just can't handle his woman's anger at times, “ouch.” He grabbed my finger in his hand. “First, stop poking me, woman. 4.5 Stars!

I really liked Give It Up by new to me author Lee Kilraine. This is the first novel from her brand new series The Thorne Brothers, and it can be enjoyed as a standalone. Together, the Thorne brothers own a turnkey construction business, and each book focuses on one of the six siblings. This story is about Beckett Thorne, the eldest brother and financial manager of the company. Beck also has amazing design skills. Due to shocking circumstances, the company's business loan has become due

The series starts off so so good and it only makes me want to read more from this author and more about the brothers. “Give It Up” brings together the big brother Becket and an old crush of his, Samantha Devine. Both good at what they do, both stubborn and decided on not to get involved again, they must work together and somehow face the attraction. Well, they decide on facing it head-on. Their story is so amazing and what happens between them is purely because of their personality.

The Throne brothers, aside from a construction business, have a long line of former lovers under their belt which is established throughout the beginning of the novel. Beckett, in particular, believes in this curse due to the fact that all of the families' relationships, however brief, are quick to fade into the black as quick as they were to begin. He doesn't have time to attempt any such maneuvers with anyone in particular. Well, that is except one woman who slipped through his fingers after a ...more

Give It Up by Lee Kilraine
Thorne Brothers #1

The Thorne brothers were separated young and for the most part have managed to find one another again, set up a business together and do well for themselves. There is one brother still unaccounted for that they are looking for but otherwise they work together well, are close and take care of one another. They are also charming, attractive and eagerly sought out by those looking for a bit of time between the sheets.

In book one we meet the brothers and

I received Give it Up as part of a Goodreads giveaway.

Despite a hard childhood, Beckett Thorne and his brothers are attempting to make a new life for themselves with their growing construction/design business, Six Brothers Construction. If he can nail a proposal for a potential client--the wife of a professional hockey coach--it could be the project that puts them on the map in Raleigh. What he doesn't expect, however, is to run into Samantha Devine, a former one-night stand and head of her own

This story has certainly set the bar pretty high for the rest of the series. With the love being in the forefront between the brothers, it is difficult not to fall just a little bit in love with them all. The author has a unique voice in the way she has created each brother, enhancing their personalities (shaped by life’s circumstances) and standing out so clearly. In my mind’s eye, I could vividly picture each one of them.

There were plenty of moments of heart wrenching interactions between the

After reading the Cates Brothers series by Lee Kilraine, I was really looking forward to the Thorne Brothers series. The first book does not disappoint!

The interesting characters, humor, and well plotted story I've come to expect from Lee Kilraine are all there. However, it is not a carbon copy of the Cates Brothers.

Beck and his brothers run a construction company and are hoping to secure a big job. Samantha, who had a fling with Beck awhile ago, is hoping to land the same job. When the homeown

Give It Up was brilliantly written story with scenes hot almost burning the sheets and humorous side. The plot was entertaining, funny and kept you hungry for the next chapter. It's beautifully wrapped up and also the characters are mix of perfection.

In the beginning it seems like Samantha and Beckett won't be able to get over their one night stand 2 years prior. Although as they both were forced to work on a designing project together the attraction between them seems to take on a whole new le
