Recommends it for: All ages
Oh my gosh, this book is WONDERFUL! And so very needed. Good self-esteem and self-love can be hard for a child to embody. The examples and adorable illustrations make it clear that it's good to love yourself no matter what and this breeds love for others too! This is one joyful romp into self-love that everyone should read - not just kids! ...more

This thought provoking book is simple enough for children to understand and yet its messages are profound and powerful, loving and compassionate. As a visual arts mentor to children, I feel the colorful and lively illustrations will capture the imagination and spirit of the youngsters who get lucky enough to experience this important read. They will understand, through the sweet characters that all of their feelings are valid and normal, resulting in self love and acceptance...What a gift we can ...more
