In a world over stretched in population and resources, the skies were meant to be the greatest beacon for innovation and freedom. The flying cities were constructed in a time of need driven by hope, and fuelled by ambition. The end results; however, cast an uninten ...more

My review is 4.2 stars.

Wooh! This one is really a wild card in by the author but that also on the bull's eye. I have to say that TJ is really developed herself in the Science-Fiction queen. But here is one weird imagination that I got in my mind, that if TJ will write a romance story, I'm sure that she can't leave her Sci-Fi genre behind, so how she'll merge the two genres. Ha! Ha! Ha!

Violent Skies appeals to the science fiction lover in me. It's a book that reads like a literary Mad Max exploration. Author T.J. Lockwood writes in all of the imagination that this genre deserves and delivers the first science fiction/fantasy novel I've truly enjoyed in months. I will look forward to more work from this promising author..
