I picked up this book because I'm working on customer service training for part-time staff who work in a service capacity at a desk. I'm going to a conference about customer service, and the author is one of the keynote speakers. His book reads like a keynote speech - very inspirational and lots of stories. I enjoyed it, but I could see how others would not love the positivity messaging about changing your attitude, bringing your best self, and finding joy in your work. I think the reflection qu ...more

Book Review Super Service

I checked this book out from the Houston Area Digital Media Catalog through the Wharton County Library. I read the book on a basic Kindle. For the most part the Kindle edition was good. The only problem I ran into was that when the book was showing dialog, like examples of customer service conversations, I had to take a magnifying glass to read it. Lots and lots of positive affirmations to repeat to yourself or post over your desk. The authors have plenty of enthusiasm for their subject.
