He makes dirty sound so good. So right.

The moment I heard his velvety voice growl that I’m his ‘Kitty Kat’, I knew I was in trouble.

Derrick ‘The Love Whisperer’ King gives out relationship and sex advice on the radio to everyone, but he’s giving me something a bit more personal. Nobody’s ever talked to me the way he does. Daring, Demanding, Sexy… and oh, so Dirty.

While I was reading this book, I was keep wondering why there are not many (any?) romance books about radio DJs. I am sure that there are plenty of women in the world that have fallen in love with a voice without ever seeing the face of the guy.
I know I have...
When I was a teenager I have fallen in love with a couple of voices from a couple of love radio stations that used to broadcast cheesy love songs. The cheesier the love songs the better. And the cornier the words between songs, the better

Kat just discovered that her (soon-to-be-ex-)boyfriend cheated on her and she wants advice from Derrick. There is something about Kat that Derrick likes and he gives her his personal phone number to call when she wants to talk some more. Dirty Talk indeed! Whew, I need a cold shower after this hot little number. Lauren Landish did not hold back in this smutty little nugget. It's a quick, fast-paced read that will definitely get you hot under the collar.

Derrick and Kat set my kindle ablaze! Whew, things between the two of them heat up fairly quickly and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Shortly after finding out her boyfriend has been cheating on her, Kat decides to call in to the "love expert" on radio to discuss her situation. Derr

I'm going to kick this review off by letting y'all know it has been a while since I have read erotica of any kind, let alone a very good erotica book. It's not that I don't enjoy them, but they can get repetitive and honestly, I get really shy reading them out in public. I have several reader friends that love Lauren Landish and the cover for Dirty Talk definitely is super hot, so when the opportunity to read it came I couldn't pass it up. I definitely couldn't read it at the salon, but my boyfr ...more

➳This is going to be a quick review since the novel itself did not take me a long time to finish. I was asked by the author to review her novel, and I was already planning on reading it tbh so here is my short review...

Dirty Talk by Lauren Landish is the story of Derrick King and Katrina Snow.
Derrick is on the radio and goes by the screen name ‘The Love Whisperer’. While doing a cheating show with his coworker Katrina calls in to talk about her boyfriend who she just found out cheated on her. Derrick nicknames her 'Kitty Kat' and finds her voice very exciting. So much so that he gives his personal number to call him back to let him know how things went with her break up.

Audible. Narrated by Tracy Marks and Sebastian York.

Good story. However, Sebastian York saves the Audible because the female narrator was extremely irritating. Still, five stars.

I’m not sure where to start.

Let’s start with the positive. The story has a lot of promise. I won’t rehash the synopsis, but I liked the premise and the characters were likable enough and they certainly had chemistry. The story was a little predictable, but overall it could be a fun read.

Now the not so positive.

I’ll start with the fact that the book ends at 39%, the rest is comprised of “bonus content”, which is NOT listed in the description. Had I known this was the case, I wouldn’t have

I thought the story was heading for an HEA early (at 40%) but it turns out this edition includes a bonus book Motorhead. I'll add that one separately.

I enjoyed this story about a satellite radio talk show host who has a way with words and is a true romantic at heart with a naughty side. The Love Whisperer Derrick King gives common sense advice on sex, love, and relationships. Katrina "Kat" calls in for advice and Derrick is intrigued enough to give her his personal number off-air and invites her
Well, this started off with a bang, but petered out to a fizzle.
The good:
• I liked the characters. They were fun and relatable.
• The premise was solid.
• I swear I could hear Derrick talking to me.
The not so good:
• This is not a full length story. It ends at 40%. This would have been nice to know ahead of time.
• All that dirty talk was fantastic in the beginning, but it started to get repetitive.
• Literally every conversation between the two main characters was steeped in dirty talk. It made the

Dirty Talk by Lauren Landish is naughty and full of emotional hotness that will leave you wanting talking dirty to your significant other behind closed doors. A short, fast paced book that is great for a weekend read. This contemporary romance had no drama, no angst, just pure climaxing fun!

Lauren Landish has that little something that let you know that she loves to write. From the very first page to the very last, Ms. Landish has written a story that you will not want to put down. Dirty Talk is one smokin' HOT romance story with a great mix of heartbreak, danger, a twist, intense chemistry, and so much more.

TITLE SPOT ON! I'm giving this 3.5 stars

Derrik was so dreamy. His old fashioned ways and knowing how to treat a last. But that mouth, lol... very dirty! Didn't take Kat long to come out of her shell! If you enjoy dirty talk, it doesn't disappointment. At the start I considered stopping, just wasn't into it but I'm happy I continued on!

Lauren Landish is an author to have grabbed my attention on many occasions. For a very long time I have been meaning to pick up one of the author’s books, yet I always found myself picking up something else instead. I’m not sure why this is, but having finally read a Lauren Landish book I’m annoyed with myself. I had so much fun with this one, and will certainly be picking up more of the author’s work in the future. My only question is why it took me so long to do so in the first place – it real ...more

5/5- this book was PERFECT!!

Dirty Talk, there’s ALOT of dirty talking going on in this book and it’s perfectly written. It’s not cheesy or cringey.

Derrick *heart eyes* is a radio DJ that has his own sex advice show.

Kat, is a computer app engineer. She starts the book out finding out her boyfriend is cheating on her by way of a photo of him or his dick, titty-fucking a girl and posted on a Tumblr like app. She breaks up with him, he’s a major douche. And ends up calling into Derrick’s radio sho

The good -

I love the idea behind this story. Sexy radio talk show host and a listener have some serious phone sex that leads to them coming together face-to-face and falling in love.

Derrick, the radio talk show host, was almost perfect. I loved him from the minute he was introduced until the final page. Kat (Katrina), I liked well enough, I suppose. Derrick believed in true fairy tale love and happily-ever-aft

It was rather meh. Until the psycho Susannah incident, the book was lacking. I understand it was called Dirty Talk, but more could have been put into the characters relationship development outside of words and sex. We're just told they are in love, literally only a few pages after Derrick is questioning if furthering their relationship is worth it.
And authors, 'my dirty sl*t' is not endearing.

Well... um... that was too smutty for me. Wrong choice, my bad!

I knew the book was titled Dirty Talk, what was I expecting? Still, too much is too much sometimes. Too much dirty talk, too many erotic scenes… well, that was all too much for me and I was bored out of my mind.

This book contains the mastered form of dirty talk. The hero makes sentences of dirty talk that stretch out into paragraphs. How can one make sentences using 3 or 4 conjunctions in the spur of the moment? They all need stop

I love me a dirty talker and Derrick King takes the cake.
At least the 2018's cake.
What can I say?
I have a really long#BookBoyfriend list and
a couple of acts in there that are kind of hard to follow.

But Derrick, baby, don't let that put you down,
because you are up there with the big ones.

I'm an easy blusher as it is but this is ridiculous.

If you're reading this trying to make up your mind, please trust me: just go for it.
If dirty talk is your thing, you're gonna love this one.

I was given a copy of this to review.

I enjoyed this very much. I'm not surprised. Up to this point I have enjoyed all the books I've read by her. I was glad that Kat thought better of herself. We can all admit that Kevin was a loser. I was glad that the incident at the end didn't take as long. Sometimes authors will drag things out. Of course the best part was the ending. I always love a happy ending.

616 pages... bullshit.

Why do they do this? This book finishes at 39% and from then on it's bonus material. That aside, this book was only just okay for me.... To be honest i struggled to stay with it. The characters were likeable and I enjoyed the story but there wasn't enough to keep me interested and I skimmed a lot (so it's probably a good thing this ended at 39%)

It's my first book from this author, I will give her another go but I won't be rushing.

This was a freebie, and not a bad one. I wasn’t counting on three books in one, but anywho. This book had an interesting set up, with the radio show host and the fact that he had a show about love and sex. I enjoyed this book, though I could see the coming conflict a mile away. Kat’s ex was a dick, and I’m not sure how she could have dated a guy that phony for as long as she did.... gross. We’ve all said that at least once though, am I right? In comparison, Derrick was everything right, and it w ...more
