Sex with the coach's daughter? That was a recipe for disaster. But I still wanted her.
I was so screwed.

This was a fuckin awesome, well rounded up story of friendship, family ties, self-esteem and achieving goals, and of course, love all fantastically presented in effortless and fluent writing of this angsty filled, with pent up anticipation of a 'forbidden touch' surprisingly fresh NA sport romance drama.

And I dont think I have ever written such a complete almost one sentenced review.

Bravo for me!👍

I had no expectation when I started this book. It returned out to be such a great read. What a sweet, sexy, dramatic and perfectly romantic story of college sports book. This book was so much more than your typical college romance with a lot of drama and so much more than your typical manwhore getting the good girl. Cam stole my heart from the start, he is your typical obnoxious, arrogant, loyal and cheeky character who is so passionate about the people and things he loves (Basketball, his paren ...more

Independent reviewer for Archaeolibraian - I Dig Good Books

Alpha male plus stubborn female always creates a steamy, fun to read, witty story. It's always fun to see the big buff guys break. This book was not different!

I really enjoyed reading this story. Cam was a burly, built, man-whore. He knew he had what the ladies wanted and wasn't afraid to flaunt it. Deep down, he had a big heart; he just didn't want everyone to see it.

Reese was determined to make a name for herself. She wanted to prove

Every king needs a queen, and Cam definitely found his in Reese.

This story captivated me from the first page. Cam is an amazing basketball player set for the NBA. Reese is a trainer trying to get her PhD. When she finds out she is the new men's basketball trainer, she is less than thrilled. She doesn't want to deal with the stigma of working with all men or having to deal with her father, the coach. When Cam and Reese have a run-in in the locker room, snarky comments fly. They can feel the attr

This is a fulfilling love story. Melanie Munton is a great writer and spins a lustful tale about two beautiful people in the athletic world who shouldn't be together, but also know they can't be apart. There are irresistibly cute characters that you can't help but laugh with and enjoy. I appreciate the difficult family dynamics that Munton includes within this story. It was a great balance to the passionate relationship that was forming between Cam and Reese. Also, there is so much steam, and I ...more

I am going to spare you the suspense of wondering and tell you right now that I just loved it! I don’t read too often the sports romances to be honest though we are all aware of my addiction to the Hashtag series and in those books Romeo plays football!

Here we have Cam and he plays basketball!

Cam had an injury Freshman year and well, as the book starts we are aware that he may be hurt again and that could end his career. We go though the first few pages knowing that something bad could happen to

King of the Court was my first book from author Melanie Munton and I must say that it was a great read with spot on chemistry and enough angst and drama to have me sneaking off to read in between Christmas festivities.

KotC was a good sports romance that checked off a bunch of my must-have boxes. I freaking loved Cam and his cheeky, self-assured, baller attitude. He's everything I wanted with hot sprinkles on top. Still, he had a softer side and the way he relentlessly pursues Reese were probabl

Cameron aka "Cam" is determined to finish out the basketball season on a high note - no obstacle will stand in his way. He, however, didn't count on Reese Bradley, the new trainer and coach's daughter, coming into his life. Now he has a lot more to look forward to... And a lot more to lose.

Reese is wary of falling for the "big man on campus". She's been burned before, but Cam has a way of pushing past her defenses with his cockiness and smart@$$ comments. She knows what she wants. It's simply a

I love a good sports romance novel. I had a difficult time getting into The King Of The Court, I found the plot was very slow in the beginning. I did warm up to it and found the chemistry was sizzling between the main characters. It was well written and the content was enjoyable, it just took until 15% for me to get hooked. After that, it was game on.

I thoroughly enjoyed the witty communication within this book, some of the remarks had me in stitches. This was the first book I have read by Melan

I haven’t enjoyed a book like this in so long. The plot was strong. Characters were brilliant. The banter was real. Everything just clicked.

I need to know what’s going to happen with Sydney and Boyd.

So many things are so not... right with this book... and the fact that the epilogue is so unsatisfying.

I would've given it one star if it's not sweet. But it is. So yeah.

Author of the Cruz Brothers, Possession and Politics, and Timid Souls series, Melanie loves all things romance, comedies and suspense in particular because it's boring to only stick to one sub-genre! From light-hearted comedies to sexy thrillers, she likes to mix it up, but loves her so
