Curious George is favorite in my household, especially with a young little boy. We read the online interactive storybook version of "The Boat Show" through Curious George's website. The website is filled with vibrant colors and many interactive features, such as games, painting creations and many stories. The actual storybook version, however, lacked the interaction I would have expected from a character like Curious George. This one is based off the most recent Curious George animated series on PBS. Robert has seen these shows, and so loves this version of George and his friends. This (and the other "early reader" CG books rated here) were regular bedtime reading material a few months after he turned 2.

Hans Augusto Rey was born on September 16, 1898, in Hamburg, Germany. He grew up there near the world-famous Hagenbeck Zoo, and developed a lifelong love for animals and drawing. Margarete Elisabeth Waldstein (who would be known to most of the world as Margret Rey) was also born in Hamburg on May 16, 1906.
