A useful small pocket phrasebook. I used it extensively on my recent holiday in Portugal. It helped me not only rely on people speaking English (though in the tourist areas we were in many people in hotels and restaurants and bars did) but also gave me some useful background. Plus it meant I didn't have to look at my phone all the time, indeed the book was at times more accurate than the main popular translation app on the internet. The menu reader didn't particularly cover food in the region we were in (east of the Algarve) but was helpful including some Brazilian dishes as well as we found Brazilian cuisine quite popular.
