Book is a little dated but still a goto reference on buying or using a telescope.

Comprehensive guide to finding the right telescope. Covers all important aspects of telescope selection. Also covers scope accessories, binoculars, mounts, etc. Published 2007 so update would be a good idea (although more recent reviews are available at author's website). Author's appreciation of stargazing is apparent.

If you're considering about buying a telescope but you've no idea which type is suited for you, buy the book.

Also all the needed accessories are mentioned (filters, eyepieces, barlow lenses etc.).

Iets achterhaald, en het meeste is ondertussen ergens op het net te vinden. Maar zeer compleet en interessant. Een mooie introductie voor iedereen die een telescoop wilt aanschaffen.
