I just finished a spirit-filled thriller romance from Rosalind Morris called The Wages or The Gift and really enjoyed it. That says a lot because I quit reading thrillers a couple years back because of boredom and I’ve not enjoyed romances since my early teens in the late fifties. But this one is different.

The thriller part is well done, exciting, and tense. The romances [and there are several] are a bit predictable but realistic. Where the book shines, though, comes through the daily walk of th

After reading The Wages or the Gift by Rosalind Morris, I am reminded of a saying by T.D. Jakes
“Destiny is not for comfort seekers. Destiny is for the daring and the determined who are willing to endure some discomfort, delay, and gratification and go where destiny leads.” The characters in this book must delay their own gratification of the flesh in order to abide by the presence of God in their lives. This book pulls no punches about what it takes to walk out of the secular world and into the

When God moves in someone’s life, the results can be astonishing.

Close friends Center Perkins and Stephen Campbell find their comfortable lives completely transformed when they encounter Christ. But as the Spirit begins to move through their circle of loved ones, so does the specter of evil and corruption, stemming from a scandal within the high fashion modeling industry with which they are all connected. The group of friends must claim the power of Christ and their mutual love to overcome their

This is a new author for me and I hope to read more of her books in the future. I love how she portrays her messages through her characters.
I'm loving how her writing style brings the story to life. She also writes from her heart.
Anyone who reads this book will be able to tell that there's some powerful stuff going on with these characters!
There are true messengers and people who do try and help people who need it. I've experienced myself. I've heard God speak to me and I believe that He has hel

I dare say that this is one of the best Christian fiction books I’ve read this year, I believe. This book grabbed me from the moment I read it to the end. The suspense and romance came together so well it was hard to determine where they began and ended. If you’re looking for a great Christian fiction book with some good clean romance with lots of excitement, i highly recommend this book. I read it on my Kindle Unlimited plan and will soon be purchasing this book. Kudos to the author

If you are a Christian this book is a must. I believe it accurately takes you on a journey you face or have faced in the real world. Myself, not at all a Christian enjoyed the book. It is well crafted and the research that had to go into this novel is excellent. So for Christians and those of us who love a well-crafted novel, its a must read. Kudos to the author; its an excellent entry to the literary world.

This is Rosalind’s first Christian Suspense novel and I thought it was very good. It had an excellent plot and if you like a novel about spiritual warfare then this one is for you. It is strongly Pentecostal, or Charismatic in it’s spiritual flavor, but since I am Pentecostal myself I understand this and it did not detract from my enjoyment of the book. This book is about how evil invades a well known modeling agency and the life threatening dangers that the characters incur as they search for i ...more

The Wages Or The Gift by Rosalind Morris is a contemporary Christian thriller that will have the reader glued and guessing.
The novel is very much grounded in God with large chunks of scripture to back up what is said. We all have a choice to choose God or not. "People are... one choice away" from good or bad choices. The novel explores the result of both.
Believing in God is not about religion. "Religion has not changed my life... Jesus has." Believing in God is based on relationship - with Him a

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. This story is a beautiful portrayal of the spiritual battle that goes on unseen as we go about our lives. In this story, we follow a group of friends who are a combination of believers and non believers. And during the story, there are quite a few clear presentations of the gospel message and the author realistically presents the variety of responses we may get when we seek to share the gospel with others. So not only is this book an intriguing story of a modeling a ...more
