As a psychiatrist, I found this book clear, thoughtful, informative and well-written. Pamela Tinkham skillfully navigates the reader through many different therapeutic modalities useful for healing trauma and overcoming the obstacles of our past. The book is exceptionally easy to read because of her clear writing and excellent summaries at the end of each chapter. She draws from many spiritual sources from the East and West to create a lovely compendium of wisdom that I will reference for years ...more
