The Pleasure Hunt is a well written journey through sex, dimensions, and demonology. The story is thick with interwoven lore I had never even heard of. While the plotline is relatively basic, it is thickened by the vivid and graphic imagery of both erotica and gore. The story follows Cupid as he searches for hookups on The Pleasure Hunters Club website. He encounters Dark Dance, and his life unravels into obsession and torture. Recommends it for: Dark Horror Fantasy Reads

This is the very first time I have read this author and let me tell you if you are interested in the dark underworld of sex, obsession, desires and demons then this is the book for you.

First off Author Floyds' writing is seamless as in takes you in and out of the dark world, his descriptions of the dark underworld are so well written that you can almost see all the grim and derelict buildings in the story. The pleasure is unimaginable. He has become bound to it and blinded by it. The endless torment to come does not ...more

Here's a book for the Barker lover. More than just a story about a powerful demon dominatrix (though, certainly, it is), author Jacob Floyd takes you beyond simple titillation and plunges you deep into the world of fobidden sexual desire, which he explores, shall we say, expertly. But more than that, he skillfully builds an enticing mythology that, just when you think you've wrapper your head around it, opens the story up into a grand spectacle of ancient gods and terrible demons. Vivid dark fan ...more

A sexually charged tale of Cupid--a man driven by an insatiable lust for women, who encounters a demonic seductress on a dating site called the Pleasure Hunters Club. He quickly succumbs to the spell of the irresistible creature who calls herself Dark Dance, and finds his clouded mind unable to think of anything other than the erotic pleasures and torments that she bestows upon his body and psyche. After her true identity and motives are eventually revealed to Cupid, he finds himself at a crucia ...more
