This book was packed to the rim with drama. The author had me confused with the whole Brick situation. In book one I do believe he showed up to the hospital after Peaches had her daughter. So he couldn’t have been to jail for 3 years because their daughter wasn’t even that old. I couldn’t believe what happened to Peaches and Trey. Even though I don’t condone how they got together she was the smartest out of her and Tee Tee. Shame it took for what to happen to them to get Dom to step up and take care of his 8 kids. Pretty good series that could use a little tweaking to get some of the story straight. I’ll be reading more from this author for sure.
With all that his mama was going through, Dom still wasn't getting it. I just wanted to jump IN the book! I've never seen denial so deep. Absolutely incredible, but necessary for that ending. I hated who had to suffer though, for this turnaround. So if this makes no sense, I'm trying not to be a spoiler - just read this series. Really 'enjoyed' this series (well except for all the explicit sex scenes - I skipped a lot of pages). But this story was on point with many lessons and well done.
This book had me emotional and I had to keep putting it down because I was crying so hard. I am glad that Trisha finally gave Reggie a chance. I cried hard when Rasheeda lost her son because the miscarriage I had on valentine day is still fresh on my mind. I also cried when Peaches and Trey was shot and killed in their home. My heart went out to Chrissy because she lost both of her parents at one time. I also cried because in the end Dom became a better man and he became a daddy and was involved in his kids lives.
This book was great. I'm glad that Dom stepped up to the plate to take care of his kids but I never would have thought that it would take slim and peaches being killed for him to step up. I cried like a baby when they died. I would read this whole series over again that's just how good I was.
What a great ending to the series!! I really didn’t think Dom would see how messed up his ways were, and i he did, i thought it would be because of how his mom was treated. I feel bad for baby Christina & her parents 😢😢, but at least it made Dom change his ways & do right by his kids. Great series!!!!
I LOVED THIS SERIES. I HAD ALL KINDS OF EMOTIONS RUNNING THRU ME READING THIS BOOK. I WAS IN TEARS BEHIND WHAT BRICK DID TO PEACHES AND TREY. IM HAPPY DOM FINALLY GOT HIS STUFF TOGETHER SO HE CAN BE A FATHER TO HIS KIDS. HE REALLY TURNED HIS LIFE AROUND FOR THEM. THIS WAS ONE OF MANY GREAT READS BY LADY LISSA.
A good ending to a great story. Real life issues that people are dealing with everyday. From the deadbeat dad to the naive females. It was good to read from the man's perspective, because a lot of them have the same immature mind frame. Great job Lady Lissa, as always you entertain, enlighten and keep the reader wanting more from you.
I enjoyed this series so much that I was dreaming about being in the book. Lol!!! Funny but true. I laughed, cried, and shook my head. I was in a state of shock at times because I really felt what these characters were going though as I read the stories. You will not be disappointed reading this entire series.
After reading the first 2 books I really had hope for this series but then you decide to kill 2 of the vital characters. Not only that you decide to let one of those characters cheat and then die. Now he has a baby on the way. I really feel that this story was all over the place. I usually love your books but this wasn’t good.
I loved these 3 books. To bad it took a strategy to get Dom to change his mind about being a father. With all the scheming he was doing to girls just to get the cookies & leaving seeds he refuse to claim. But in the end I'm glad he step up to take care of his 7 kids & also help with Skin's daughter. Loved it
Why? Why did slim and peaches have to go out time that I was so angry and crying at the same time...lol I'm also glad that Dominic stepped up and changed! Maybe we can get a part 4 on how their lives are going?!.. wishful thinking..lol
I really enjoyed this series. It was so heartbreaking what happened to Slim & Peaches, sadly it took their demise for Dominic to change his ways. Monet was being messy, I’m glad Tisha knocked her on her ass. But 7 kids at the age of 21? Dominic did it to himself.
I'm glad that Dom stepped up. Life really is too short. Sorry it took him losing someone close in order for him to do right. Glad in the end that the kids knows their dad and their siblings. Embrace life. Live. Laugh. Love.
Wow wasn't expecting that ending. Dom definitely changed a lot. This series was so good I hate it had to end. Thanks for not making us wait a year or two to finish the series. Kudos!
I went from hating Dom to liking him (a little bit). I was glad Dom got his life together it's sad it took a tragedy for it to happen. I was happy Tory totally forgave both Dom and Asheley. I enjoyed this series.
Lord. Dom done fell under the witches spell. The oldest trick in the book is to make a man want you but making him chase you. It in the end you will lose cause he was in love with the chase not you.
This Finale was Awesome, I loved this Series, It had me Crying, I hate that Dom had to lose his Friends for him to change. So glad that he stepped up with his kids and his baby mama.s Glad Tisha found love
This book hit so close to home that it had me crying because I lost someone dear to me. Death has a way of changing you and I'm glad things stared working out for Dom and that he stepped up . I'm so excited for Tisha and Reggie
This book took a lot of turns but I’m happy that Dom got his stuff together and I just hate it was at the expense of his best friend losing his life. Brick was wrong for raping Peaches and then goes back to take her n then end up killing them.
I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I mean seriously the ending tho, just isn't right but overall this was a great series & once again lady lissa never disappoint.
This was a great book. I truly enjoyed every page. I hated that Peaches and Trey had to end up that way. I highly recommend everyone to read this series.
I guess the saying is true tragedy makes people wanna better themselves. So glad it work out. There's a part four so I know it'll b some more drama lurking in dark.
Man Ms. Lady Lissa can’t write her butt off! Story was clear, entertaining, emotional, and down right good! I will be having a whole binge on her books this month!
