Relationship Advice from Six Navy Seals? When Billy Anderson decided to ask Rebecca Barnes to the Valentine’s Day Dance, he had no idea that he would be getting relationship advice from six Navy SEALs. While these guys have the looks do they really have a clue to how to get Rebecca out of the friend zone and into the girl friend zone?
A Girl In Need There is more going on with Rebecca than she is willing to share. She needs help. As much as she wants to go out with Billy she just can’t. There is just too much going on in her life that she doesn’t think she can share, nor does she think she can ask for help.
A White Knight in the Making When Billy realizes the situation Rebecca is in, he’ll stop at nothing to help her, this includes calling in the men of Midnight Delta. He knows Drake, Mason, Darius, Finn, Clint and Jack will go above and beyond the call of duty to help the young woman he cares for. But will it be enough to ensure that Rebecca is safe and happy? And will he and Rebecca ever make it to that dance?

Billy, Sophia's (you can find Mason and Sophia's story in book one, Her Vigilant SEAL) brother, is growing up quickly. After being paired up with Rebecca on a social studies project, Billy becomes a smitten kitten over her. He knows she's shy and some of the other kids pick on her because of her situation, so he needs to be careful that she knows he's being honest in his attention. Rebecca is in foster care, but the couple providing for her, and three other kids, only do it for the money. Unfortunately, that means the kids suffer and instead of using that money towards their care, clothes, etc., the couple use as little as possible so they can keep more for themselves. We all know how kids can be when someone is "different" and Rebecca is experiencing that. Of course, Billy understands better than most as he had to spend a couple years in foster care while waiting for his sister, Sophia, to be able to have full custody of him.
Billy wants to be more than friends with Rebecca, which means inviting her to the Valentine's Day dance. But, he's worried she'll turn him down like she did the other two boys that ask her out. (Probably another reason the girls pick on her...the boys like her.) However, Rebecca is a smart young lady and has reasons for turning them down. He doesn't want to ask Sophia for advice as he's still her baby brother, the one she basically raised, in her eyes. So after talking with Dare (one of Mason's teammates), he realizes maybe he's going about this the right way, but decides to ask Mason for a little more advice. Of course, everyone is willing to help their surrogate little brother with his girl troubles. *whispers...Billy, word of warning, maybe get a second opinion on any advice Drake gives. LOL You just never know with him.* Oh okay, Drake did pretty good in this one. Think he's maturing? Thinking before he speaks? Learned a lesson? Nah, me either. He's allowed to make sense every once in awhile. *giggles*
Plus, not only do we learn more about Dare's past in foster care, we also get a sneak peek into his newfound lack of serial dating, which coincidentally happens to coincide with when he first met Rylie. Oh yeah, once he met Rylie that was it for him. I just knew it. Woohoo! They're going to be such a fun couple to watch.
I love that the whole team got involved with giving Billy advice. Rebecca is a sweetheart and you wish you could reach through your Kindle and hug her, while at the same time throat punching, err yeah, throat punching her foster parents. They suck.
Will Billy and Rebecca attend the dance together? If so, will it be as just friends or something more? Will anyone be able to help Rebecca and the other children find homes that will love them for them, not the money they bring in? How are Mason and Sophia doing with the wedding planning? How are Clint and Lydia (see their story in Her Loyal SEAL) doing? How about Jack and Beth (see their story in Her Adoring SEAL) doing? I loved revisiting with the couples, and with the still single men, but not for long because Caitlyn is plotting on them. *insert evil laugh*
One-click this book now and find out the answers to all of the above questions and more. I do recommend you read the series in order for the sake of continuity and for full enjoyment of the characters in this story as they are featured throughout the series. Trust me, you'll love the series and wonder how in the heck you haven't read this wonderful author before.
Very heartwarming story that a teenage boy would have the kind of care and understanding that Billy does with Rebecca and that he is willing to get his friends involved to help her too. There are so many bad foster homes in this country but there are some pretty good ones too. Great story of two teenage kids who both have to deal with the Social Service System. Billy had a great foster family until he could go back to live with his sister. Rebecca is stuck in a foster home that is only in it for the money. Billy knows that something is going on with Rebecca but he can't get her to talk. They are friends but he really likes her. He gets advice from all the guys and finally asks her to the school dance. Even though she has flat out told tow other guys just "no" she didn't want to go with them, she tells Billy that she can't. Frannie figures out the reason and takes her shopping for clothes so she can go to the dance with Billy.
Relationship Advice from Six Navy Seals? This story involves Billy who is just starting to notice girls, and the girl he has noticed is Rebecca. Having spent time in foster care he knows Rebeccas life is not ideal, he was lucky and now he wants - no needs to make sure Rebecca gets to be in a home where she is cared for.
With the help of the Men in the Midnight Delta SEAL team to advise and support him, Billy has all the help he needs to be there for Rebecca.
This was a story about family, about not ignoring something that you know is wrong.
Thousands of children struggle in Foster care, they either fall through the cracks or are placed in homes where the paycheck is more important. This book highlights that humanity has a long way to go when our vulnerable children are concerned.
It was a lovely glimpse into the down time of the team as well as focusing on the realities of being poor or unwanted in our world.
This was an adorable and touching story in the Midnight Delta series with Billy, Sophia's brother getting dating advice from Mason, Sophia's fiancee and his SEAL teammates. Rebecca was Billy's study partner and the girl he wanted to ask to the Valentine Day's dance. She was in a foster home and was being neglected by her foster parents by not having any clothes that fit her and locking her out of their house and having her sleep on the porch. The Midnight Delta team put their heads together with Jack and Drake straightening out Rebecca's situation. Sophia, Franny , Margie got together and took care of her clothing problem as well. Nothing stood in the way now for these two teens to go to their dance. Later the got her into a better place to live with one of the SEAL's mother applying to become her foster parent. This was a very cute story and should what a thoughtful and loving group of guys these SEALs were. I cannot wait to read the next release in this series as this book was a change of pace for this action packed romantic series. I highly recommend this entire series.
I love the Midnight Delta series. What's not to love about the six SEALs on the team? They are all skilled, fearless and protective of anyone - not just the ones they love. We get a different look at them in SEALED with a Kiss. This isn't an action-packed story with the SEALs saving the day. At least not with lots of guns and stuff. But they do help Billy with his problem of how to ask Rebecca out and help her in her terrible foster family situation.
Billy is 14 so asking Rebecca out is scary. He doesn't have any experience with girls so asks his soon to be brother-in-law, Mason for advice. Before he knew it, all the SEALs were giving their opinions, too. I liked seeing the good-guy side to these men as well as how much they appreciated their women and knew they would be lost without them.
This book made me laugh and cry but left me smiling at the end.
I've read all of the other books in this series, but this is a tiny book centering on one of the young brothers of a partner of the teams. This made me laugh because a young teen really wants to ask out another girl in his class, but doesn't want to get shot down either. He goes around asking his soon to be brother in law and his SEAL friends on how to do it. In true male form, they each give him advice in how to do it.
However, once they all get to know the girl and protect her, she slowly starts to let the whole group in. Once some of the extending 'family' gets to know the girl they know what the problem is and help her to say yes when the boy asks her.
This is a short but very sweet story of first love and how to handle those tricky situations growing up.
This was a good book but I, wasn't prepared to be brought into the world of adolescents once again. I thought it would be a big man Seal rescuing a smart, strong, beautiful woman. As adorable as Billy is I wasn't prepared for the ENTIRE novel to be about him going on his first date. I realize that maybe an underlying theme may have been the continued struggles of the foster care system but any solutions weren't stated strongly enough. If the foster care system was a theme then it need to appear more frequently. I don't think I would care to recommend this book to anyone. If I have made mistaken assumptions, please contact me at spoon is490@gmail.com. Thank you for the opportunity to review this book.
Story revolves around a teen boy, his sister and her man, a SEAL. The siblings have had dealings with the foster care system, and it's inadequate supervision of some foster parents. The teen has a friend, a girl, whose current foster parents are neglecting her, and the SEAL and his friends step in to fix what they can. The whole story needs to be gone over for misused words, incomplete sentences, unnecessary words, and typos, because there are too many of all of them. Misusing your in place of you're should not occur in a published novel.
I loved it the characters where just right for this story line. This story is about a Billy Anderson who’s sister is engaged to a Navy seal Mason Gault. He wants to ask Rebecca to the Valentines dance and gets advice from six seals on how to do it. He also wants to find a way to help Rebecca with the problems she is having with her foster family. The six Midnight Delta Seal Team members set out to help their young friend and what they find out they do not like. Everyone knows not to mess with the ones that the Seals love and protect.
This story "rounds up" all the members of Mason's SEAL team as they each offer their individual help to Sophia's brother, Billy, and the young lady he has his eye on. Throughout it all, we get updates on the existing couples and glimpses of what's awaiting the still-single SEALs.
I love how this "family" pulls together to take care of their own, no matter how tangentially they're connected. These are real-world problems, handled with genuine compassion and realistic solutions. The ending was pure bliss. I hope the author circles back to these characters after they've had a chance to finish growing up.
A coming of age story ... with a twist. Who has at their beck in call for some much needed PG "girl" advice. Not one but six smoking HOT Navy SEALS. Billy is only fourteen and doesn't know a lot about girls, but he has his future brother-in-law and his brothers in arms to help him out. They are there to when he has questions but more importantly, they help him when his girl needs real SEAL style help. I've sad it once and I'll say it again, this entire series is an EXCELLENT read.
I chose this rating because this was actually a pretty great book. I enjoyed all of the characters in this book. I like the way Billy took a liking to Rebecca and the way he wanted to protect her and look out for her, which I think was awesome. He got a lot of helpful advice from his sister's man and his team mates. It turns out they had a great time at the school dance. She (Rebecca) was Loved by all of his family members and their friends. They ended up helping her out a lot. Which is also awesome. Great read!
This is about Billy, Sophia's brother from the first book. He is just finding out that girls are hard to understand and with the help of his new SEAL friends he has lots of ideas on how to proceed. Rebecca comes from a foster home and has lots of secrets. He has had his share of the foster care systems and is more than willing to help her out. This was a fast read and has most of the SEALs from the series showing up with their own brand of help. I enjoyed the many ways they were willing to help a young pup get his girl.
What a sweet novella about Sophia's young brother Billy, who's 14, and his first girl crush over Rebecca. He has so much help and advice from all the adults. It's full of heart and laughter with a bit of angst because Rebecca is in a bad foster situation which the Seals are "code" bound to fix. I wouldn't advise reading this before reading the 1st book in this series, ONLY to know all the characters better
This is a sweet, endearing and thoughtful novella. It recounts the exploits and romances of the Midnight Delta SEAL team, while highlighting the cute first love of Billie Anderson. Billie is the younger brother of Sophia, girlfriend of Mason Gault who is leader of the SEAL team. The camaraderie, teamwork and family ethics of the team and their friends make this story heartwarming and loving.
SEALED With A Kiss is a quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. Caitlyn O'Leary has delivered a treat for readers with this book of young love. Billy wants to ask Rebecca to the Valentine's Day Dance but he's going to need help. Finn, Drake, Darius, Mason, Clint and Jack are all ready to advise Billy. This is a cute story, I enjoyed it. SEALED With A Kiss is book 3.5 of the Midnight Delta Series but can be read as a standalone. This is not a cliffhanger.
This was O.K. for me. This was a story about Billy Anderson who wants to ask a girl out for the School Valentine's Dance. He has such a big heart and the girl really needs a boy like Billy. Luckily, all of his new buddies the Midnight Delta SEALS are available with advice, help and guidance. It really is a cute story
such a heart warming story about about abandoned and abused children. Foster children have so much to deal with, abandonment, abuse, bullying, as well as normal growing up issues. With the requirement needs to become foster parents, it is hard to see how there are so many foster homes that are so bad. And kudos to Finn's momma for her polishing comment.
Of the books I've read from this series, this was the best and most complete. It gave insight on all of the seals and Billy. My only wish is that there was more details about Rebecca's foster parents , but u got the idea of how they were and they're talk with 2 of the guys. Really good and quick read.
We first meet Billy in book one of this series. He has grown up into a dependable teenager who has a crush on his friend Rebecca. Their time in foster care finally brings them closer together. I loved that each of Mason’s team members help Billy along the way with trying to understand his feelings. This is a lovely novella and I really enjoyed the ending.
We know from Her Vigilant SEAL that Billy Anderson, Sophia's young brother, is a perceptive caring lad. Then it's no surprise the Billy wants to help out his classmate Rebecca Barnes. He knows something's wrong, he's just not what. Billy's friends and family step up to do what they can and the Midnight Delta brothers are there with advice both solicited and otherwise.
I normally dislike novellas, but I enjoyed this enough to write a review. I recommend reading the other books in the first. This story is focused on a minor, but important character from another book. It’s a touching story that gives more insight into some of the characters who haven’t starred in their own stories yet. I’m looking forward to continuing the series!
SEALED with a Kiss (Midnight Delta #3.5) by Caitlyn O'Leary is a very good short read. Funny, tender and sweet, this short novella is a quick read that is entertaining and engaging. A wonderful look at the tender side of the Midnight Delta Seal Team.
A wonderful addition to the Midnight Delta series. It is well written with some amazing characters... we should all be so lucky to have people like these in our lives. Billy and Rebecca melted my heart. A definite must read.
I loved this book,Andi loved their motto to protect and care for women and children,I love this book so much that I want to know what happened to Rebecca and Billy after the Valentine dance can't wait to find out.
A great little novella. Cute story, LOTS of love and strong family ties, even if they aren't family by blood. Such a great series, I love these guys.... And their women!
OMG, I loved this book. The tenderness and respect these seals have for people, women and children is breathtaking. I've found a new series to delve into, and a new author.
