"Chain mail? Are you kidding me?" Bram knows how the world works. He's been watching it evolve for the past three hundred years. But instead of the sports car and bank account he thought he was requesting, he's handed the responsibility for an entire clan. The chain mail might prove handy, however, when the survival of the place requires him shutting down a medieval equivalent of the NFL. It's a big job that needs doing in a mere two days, but he thinks he's got a chance...if a certain American woman stays the hell out of his way.
Sophie Pennel has sold her young business for millions, and in her hurry to flee from those who are after her money, she falls for a foreign con job instead. And soon she finds herself in the middle of the Scottish Highlands with no bathroom, a town full of delusional cosplayers, and the handsome guy she hopes will get her back to civilization turns out to be King of Delusions himself.
If she ever gets out of there, she's never going to be a hundred feet from a bathroom again! *BRAM is #35 in the series. If you are new to the ghosts, first read the short set up, THE GATHERING, to avoid confusion. And join our hunky Highlanders on their Facebook page: Ghosts of Culloden Moor.
I have absolutely fallen in love with your books. I am an addicted reader,I mean several a week. I am currently going to start book 36 of the ghost series and have read in correct order, though it's very tempting to read your other books but once I start a series it's like not being able to put a book down til it's done it's a compulsion. Thank you for writing such wonderful stories gives m e something to enjoy while my husband and sons play video games lol. Takes me to wonderful places I would love to see for myself. Scotland and Ireland are on my bucket list. I look forward to reading all of your book you have a wonderful creative mind thank you.
If you like swoon worthy Highlanders, a bit of the paranormal, and sweet romantic tales this is the perfect series for you. I started reading this when only a few of the books had been published. I took a brief detour, reading titles by other others and even works from these wonderful authors. Now I'm back and playing catch up. Each of these stories is a quick read, which is nice when time is at a premium. I love all the twists and turns these stories take as each "ghost" is sent on his quest. Of course I have some particular favorites, but I am never disappointed. This has been a wonderful literary journey.
This is a strange story. She lives in the actual time, he is in the limbo. They were supposed to be destined to meet? I really don't know. Starting with the fact that the book start by the end and you cant understand anything the next is very confusing too . Bizarre, unexpected, different are the words that come to my mind to describe this story but it i not bad is interesting and entertaining. If you are looking for a book to pass your time with something crazy you have the right book. good luck and have fun
This is book 35 in the series. You will want to read the first short story, The Gathering, for the background information on the Muir witch before you start the rest of the series. After that, each one can be read as a standalone.
Each book in this series has been so different, you never know exactly what each ghostie👻 will have to do to earn his boon. I have read all 35 books, along with the first short story, The Gathering, and I continue to enjoy each one. Each time I think "oh this is my favorite ghostie" to only read the next one and think 'this is my favorite one!'💕
I have read all 35 books and loved all of them as well as all the different authors. You have made a very enjoyable series. My favorite books are time travel and ghosts and this series has it all. I highly recommend this ghost stories series to all. Diana Romano
The author continues to spin a wonderful tale as part of "the Culloden 79". Brian's story, meeting Sophie and saving the little, just adds to the notion of love is a noble deed.
Well this Muir witch has done it again. This one had a great twist, some frustration, beautiful scenery, catastrophe, strong women & a very happy ending.
I've read every book in the series so far and this is m absolute favorite. It's quite different from the rest of the stories in the series. And it's nice to read familiar chats from author 'LL Muirs other series.
I did this last night... I could not put it down I am on book 35 of this series and as you know some you connect with more than others ... this one I could not even think of putting it down I was invested till the last word
I've read 35of the books in the series and must note this one left me absolutely refusing to put it down, truly a page turned as both Bram and Sophie negotiate living in a time earlier than their own.
Another excellent book in the series! I read it in one day because I could put it down. The beginning is an interesting way to start a book but it really worked well with the story.
I love your writing this series is so much fun .I love having characters from other books show up in other books it's like seeing an old friend again .
Was interesting how the epilogue came 1st. Kind and gave it a twist. The story itself was a twist in it that Both the ghost and His lady Where long into the 17th century.
