One of the ugliest thing that can be inflicted upon a woman is rape. And to conquer that fear can only be done with supreme willpower. This is the story of this sensitive book written by a very sensitive author. When I read this book the emotion I felt the most was disgust. There is a constant lump in my throat that the author had managed to invoke in me with minimal description of the scene. Sunaina's fear had a bone-chilling effect on me. Her cries and her surrender to the inevitable even when Piyush's brother comes near her was heart-wrenching.
No woman should go through this and no woman should be alone in her life if she is the victim of rape. This is where Piyush's love comes in. His gentle love starts healing her but the man who is responsible for her state is not ready to leave her alone. Will there love overcome this constant fear in their lives is what the story is all about.
Ms. Ranjan has done a beautiful job in this book. I could see a tremendous improvement from her previous books. The characters are well etched and the situation believable. Only thing I would have loved it the balls of the man could have been chopped off who had done this to her... this, of course, is my personal opinion for all rapists and nothing to do with the author's writing. Loved it, Ms. Ranjan.

Penning a story around a rape victim is not easy. But the author has done it very nicely, portraying the pain and trauma of the woman and of course her love for her man. Beautiful story.

Full of emotions
This book is full of emotions. I loved it . Its a quick read so ones you start, I bet you won't put it down till you finish it . Its a sad story but with a beautiful ending. At one point in time I felt like this is a real story as it happens a lot in today's day and age. Wish there are thousand guys out there like piyush so all those suniana's too have a happy life. This was my 1st book but will def read more books by the author .

If book 1 of Verma Clan's Sanctum series left me in tears, Book 2 A Promise Togetherness Forever made me shudder in fear. I don't have enough words to appreciate the author for how she has conveyed the pain and horror of a rape victim to readers through words. I did spend sleepless night after reading it. Kudos to Reshma.
