I'm loving this team-up. This was a fantastic start to this new series. Be sure to check out the letters page for some hilarity.

Bucky Barnes, a.k.a The Winter Soldier, a.k.a the beaker to Captain America's bunsen honeydew...

Whaaaaaaaaat.

Seriously though, Rosenberg's voice for Clint is nearly as good as Fraction's. Plus, Bucky, so this was a no-brainer buy for me. I'm happy with this issue and I hope the rest of this story arc is as good.

this was a delightful issue. I picked it up on a whim because I will read anything Bucky Barnes is in, and I liked the idea of a Hawkeye & Winter Soldier team up. it didn't disappoint. I expected to say this started slow because Bucky doesn't actually show up until 5 pages from the end, but I loved Clint's internal narration. looking forward to the continuation of this one!

I finished this series last night and was pleasantly surprised! I wasn't sure which direction Rosenberg would take their story, but wow! I hate that it ended when it did, and I hope there is a continuation in the future. Tales of Suspense will leave you with quite a few questions, but the major plot has a resolution.

I really loved Hawkeye and Bucky together! They're an unlikely pair with very little in common, but they did love the same woman. That makes things even more interesting... Is Black

Hawkeye and Bucky Barnes working together is the teamup I never knew I needed. I'm going to love this series.

Tip: please read the letters section at the end of this issue. The writers respond to letters that were sent 50 years ago and it's both hilarious and incredible (THE MOON LANDING HADN'T EVEN HAPPENED YET).

"I haven’t always been a writer. My parents are writers and my brother is a writer, and I resisted that as long as I could. When I was 17, I hopped in a band’s van and I went on tour for a summer, and that was it, that was what I wanted to do. I ran a record label for 10 years, a small indie punk label. I did everything in music that you can do that doesn’t involve having musical ability. ...more
