This was such a wonderful read for me,truly no fault was found with either characters as they seemed to be the perfect match. The hero is amongst a group of 5 friends who made a pact in college to not marry, each for a different reason, and if anyone does go down the aisle, that person gives the other 1 million dollars each. The heroine is a very poor college student with a mountain of school debt who works as a barista at a local coffee bar.

Back in college, five jaded friends made a pact that if any of them ever got married they would have to pay each friend a million dollars. They agreed it would make any of them think twice about getting married only to get divorced later.

The Penthouse Pact is Parker Braxton's story. The story starts out where he is rushing to the hospital because his mom has been admitted, when he literally hits Layla with his car. He knows Layla because she is the one that hands him his coffee every morning bef
Enjoyable read. Good pacing and lots of chemistry between the two MC.

Loved the heroine and her sass. Alpha, protective hero.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! It was sweet, fresh, and very engaging. A truly sweet romance. It's well written and simple yet interesting read. It is the type of book where you grab a blanket, sit in your most comfortable chair just sit back and enjoy.
No heavy drama.
No Other women or men.
Just the two of them.
Happy that I got to read this beautiful book.

A nice and easy read with a "Cinderella" trope. Parker Braxton, billionaire extraordinaire, is a tough boss. Some would say an a-hole. One second of negligence and he hits the local barista, Layla Fallon with his fancy car. Layla is struggling to make ends meet and is working her backside off to get her degree. Parker insists on looking after her and so ensues the love/hate foreplay and chemistry between them. This was a quick read following the natural arc of a romance book. I'm looking forward ...more

Parker Braxton is a confirmed bachelor. So confirmed he made a pact with his best friends that would cost him quite a bit he if he ever got married. With stakes so high, it's gonna take a really special person to breakdown those barriers of his! Cue, Layla Fallon <3 *happy sigh*

I must say, even tho the story-line was kinda predictable, it was still a lot of fun to read. Both Parker and Layla were very likeable. Nothing overly dramatic about the plot so a very good cozy afternoon read. The Pen

Making a deal with his best friends was supposed to keep Parker Braxton safe and never considering marriage, especially since if he loses, it would cost him millions. However, when he accidentally runs over Layla Fallon -- the woman that makes the perfect coffee -- he finds himself inviting her to stay at his apartment while she recuperates from the accident. Yet, the more time he spends with Layla, the more he finds himself doing the one thing he swore he'd never do -- wanting love, family and ...more

Loved it! It was a fun read and it kept me entertained all throughout the book. When Parker hit Layla with his car, I did not expect for their relationship to take off after that. Parker at first offered to take care of Layla because he was worried that something might happen to her after her concussion and because he felt responsible for hitting her with his car but as he gets to know her better he realizes that the reason he wants her close has nothing to do with the accident. I love a geeky billionaire with questionable social skills finally gets a chance with the woman of his dreams. This is exactly what I loved about The Penthouse Pact.

Parker has spent his life working at and running his IT empire. He's too busy to fall in love, too busy to have a life outside of work. Until he finally runs—literally—into Emmy.

Emmy's just trying to make it through the day. She's working too many hours, spending long hours studying, and there are just no hours left for romance. Unti

Layla and Parker were perfect together! Both so determined to make it on their own, not repeat the mistakes of the past they'd been exposed to, while falling harder and deeper for each other

It begins with a crash, specifically, Parker crashes his car into Layla. He knows her from his favourite coffee shop, and from there on in, the two of them are together. They both try to deny the attraction brewing between them, and once they finally give in, they deny it is more than it is

Our hero made a pact with his equally wealthy friends to pay each member one million dollars if they ever tie the knot with someone. That's 5 million reasons to stay a bachelor. Sweet contemporary romance.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Somehow the gorgeous rich guy hits you with his car. Really?? Fantastic story from Cathryn, I really loved this one. It’s not exactly a Pretty Woman kind of story, although it has strong Cinderella vibes where poor girl met a rich, handsome man. I don’t have problem with that (the heroine on the lower social level than the hero, well... okay. Fine). In fact, the back and forth between Layla and Parker were quite amusing to follow as - low on the totem she might be - this heroine had grit on her! And I love that about this story.

That said, the first on page encounter between them didn’t really convey

Parker Braxton doesn't do love, he's so determined not to that he actually made a pact with his friends that holds him to it; if at some point he decides to break the pact he has to pay up, and he isn't about to hand over his millions to his friends. But, sometimes love knows no bounds or abides by unwritten rules and he finds that to be true when he literally runs into the woman of his dreams. Cathryn Fox's The Penthouse Pack wasn't my favorite billionaire book by Entangled, but I still found it to be a fun and easy read.

The Penthouse Pack features two POVs - Parker Braxton and Layla Fallon. Layla is a college student struggling with loans and rent.
