Addison Murphy is the funny friend, the girl you grab a beer with—the girl voted most likely to start her own sweatshirt line. And now that one of her best guy friends is getting married, she’ll add “groomsman” to that list, too. She’ll get through this wedding if it’s the last thing she does. Just don’t ask her to dive for any bouquet.

Cindi Madsen is the queen of feel good books. She writes these amazing characters that I can relate too, and feel for. This is the perfect vacation read, fun, uplifting, sexy and filled with good vibes.

This book centers around a man Tucker, who left his small town to practice law at a big city law firm only to find it didn't make him happy. He moves back home and runs into a pair of sexy legs sticking out from under a car that happen to belong to his childhood BFF and one of "the boys". This att

    5+ stars read for me.

I LOVED this friends to lovers story. This is my first book by Cindi Madsen and her writing style sucked me in from the get-go. Despite not having much in common with tomboy Addison Murphy, I immediately bonded with her and felt her vulnerability so acutely, which is not an easy feat for a story told

I received a copy of this title via NetGalley. It does not impact my review.

I loved this book so much! It was such a fun, sweet Friends-to-More story and I couldn’t get enough of it.

I don’t really like to use words like “swoony” or “feels”, but Addie and Tucker made my cold, black heart feel all the feelings. I loved their friendship and I loved how it turned into more. The friendship lines aren’t really crossed until about halfway through the book and the slow burn was everything. I actually ma

This for me is another win for Cindi Madsen. Really adored this book and the setting.

Sweet, friends to lover story with humor and some funny awkward and also smexy stuff.

I think what I like most about her books that they are light and fun and her characters are always relatable, both guys and girls.

Also no matter how many times it has been done and written, in this case friends to lover, she alwa

Note: This review is for an ARC and is my unbiased opinion.

It’s been a while since I have read a book by Cindi Madsen. I can’t even remember why really. I think there were maybe one or two books of hers that weren’t my thing, so I just didn’t pick up her next release or something. I’m really regretting that decision right now.

The title and cover of Just One of the Groomsmen caught my eye and my attention. I was really curious what being “just one of the groomsmen”

Just One of the Groomsmen was my introduction to Cindi Madsen. This will definitely not be the last of her books that I read. Abbie and Tucker have been best friends since forever. Tucker is a lawyer in the big city. He became so wrapped up in his job and had no time for himself that he realized he wasn't happy. So, he took the plunge and quit his job and went back home to Uncertainty. That is wher

Addison is just one of the guys. Her best friends are all men and she enjoys soccer, football and poker nights. When one of the guys gets married he invites Addison to be a groomsmen.
Tucker is part of Addison's group of friends but has moved to the big city to become a lawyer. Before the wedding he decides to move back to town and finds himself having feelings for Addison. Will their love story affect their group of friends?

Do you ever need that guaranteed book to make you smile? The one that delivers just what it promises? This is that kind of book.

It's a cute story about "one of the guys" who's really a girl. Addison has a tight knit group of friends who all just happen to be guys. She ends up developing chemistry with one of the boys when he returns home after being gone for a while. The friendship dynamic is chal

This was my first Cindi Madsen book and I really enjoyed it. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but I love a good friends to lover romance and this story fit the bill. I love the bond that Addie had with all of her boy-friends. The fact that she was just “one of the guys” from high school really cemented the relationship she had with all of them. Of course Tucker was one of her closest friends and that’s where it gets complicated.
I love a book that actually lets us get a feel for the character

It has to be different living in a town called Uncertainty. I would think there would be a lot of jokes about people being uncertain about many things. I am certain that Addie and her best friends were not the norm, especially since she was the only girl with four guys as her best friends! Tucker, one of the best friends, had moved away to be part of a law practice, but was not happy. I loved how the “guys” always got together to play poker, football, drink, and watch football. I have never know ...more

Very cute! So this is a friends to lovers story. Addie and Tucker have been friends since they were kids, in fact these two along with three other boys have hung out all their lives. Addie's is your quintessential tomboy who loves watch football, playing poker, or playing football with her friends. Tucker has been away for few years getting his education and working. He has now come home and these two can't stop having inappropriate thought

Cindi Madsen's Just One of The Guys is the story of friends growing up in Uncertainty, a small Alabama town. When one of them decides to get married he asks his friends to be groomsmen, including Addison Murphy. One of the guys, Tucker Crawford has just returned to Uncertainty. As Addie tries to be part of the wedding and Tucker starts noticing that Addie isn't just a "guy" all kinds of alarms start going off in the close-knit town. Did not finish about 20 percent. There's nothing that's terrible about this. I liked the circle of friends and how tight they were, but I missed the connection otherwise here. I wasn't engaged enough to keep going and I don't read books if they feel like they're becoming a chore. I did try to go back to this every couple of days but it didn't change for me.

Maybe this will be a good read for me in the summer time when I am in the wedding books mood or something. It just didn't work for me quite

Loved this book so much that I immediately wanted to reread it again at the end! The friendship, the romance, the humor were all perfection. Addie and Tucker stole my heart from the very first chapter and I read it in a day because I just couldn’t put their story down. Can’t wait for book two!!!

Thank you Netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This was a decent friends to lover romance. Addie is a tomboy with a close relationship to several childhood boys. She's especially close to Tucker who is now back in town for one of their friends wedding. Things get more serious between them when Tucker realizes he's sexually attracted to her. This novel would have been great if it weren't for the fact that 50 percent of the time Tucker has to remind Addie about how sex

I so enjoyed this story. The characters are so engaging and real. I love the closeness and the humor the author brings to life through each character during tough situations and oh my gosh such funny situations.
This is a story of friendships, of family, and of small-town life. How the five different characters, Addie a physical therapist, Tucker a lawyer, Easton town sheriff, Ford a firefighter, and last but not least Shep a superintendent of the local school district. As kids, they ran in a pa

I really enjoyed this story! Cindi Madsen is a new to me author & I will be reading more by her. I love her breezy way of writing & conveying emotion without being heavy handed. She managed to perfectly describe their bunch of friends & express the feelings of family that I sensed about them. It really illustrated the guilt they both felt about possibly crossing the line & if it would change the groups dynamics. What I loved the most was the relationship that developed between Le ...more

This was a super adorable friends to lovers romance story. From the very first interaction, I knew I was going to enjoy it. I wasn’t wrong.

Addie reminded me so much of myself. A total tomboy...from the way she dressed to her love of sports. I could identify with her 100%. I mean, hell, even some of how her family acted was similar to my own. While not a necessity for me to enjoy a book, in this case, it only added to it.

But she and Tucker were so perfect for each other.

This book was pure perfection of a friends to lover's story.

Addison "Murph" Murphy spent her teenage years hanging with a group of guys who are still her best friends. Even though she loves all of her guys the same, Addie was always closest to Tucker Crawford. When the group gets summoned together by Shep to tell them he is getting married to his girlfriend, Lexi, he informs the "guys" that he wants them all as his groomsmen....well technically Murph will be a groomsmen but she will have to wear

This friends to lovers romance has a cuteness about it, but the characters and their sassy attitudes gives it a little spunk. I loved the character Addie and how she was one of the guys, but deep down she still had the same emotional turmoil as girls everywhere. While playing a huge part in their little circle of friends, she still felt like the odd man out (being the only female in the group.) Tucker was sexy and sweet. Their transition from just friends to more was a sort of slow burn. Of cour ...more
Growing up together, Addison "Addie" "Murph" Murphy and Tucker Crawford were just two of a large group of friends. Addison was the only girl in the group but the feeling among the friends was more sibling than romantic. Now one of their group, Shep, is getting married so that means Tucker is home for the first time in two years. And that means that Addie is going to have to wear a dress. Since her normal wear is either yoga pants and a T-shirt or jeans and a sweatshirt, that is going to be a pre ...more

This is a cute love story about a girl growing up in a small Alabama town, friends only with a rag-tag team of boys. Eventually, she realizes love has been staring at her for most of her life. The premise of the story is sweet, and the character progression in the story was well written. Both Addie and Tucker's characters are relatable and you find yourself cheering for them. This trope is my favorite, I really liked the characters, and I so wanted to love this book. However, I hate third person ...more

I really enjoyed this book a lot. I love a good friends to lovers story. Addie is not the stereotypical woman. She's her own woman who happens to be best friends with four guys. You can easily see how close this group of friends is. People think that Addie is odd the way she acts and how not girly she is. That's what I loved about her so much she's conformable being herself and who wouldn't want to have group of friends that have your back no questions asked? Cindi Madsen is a USA Today Bestselling author of contemporary romance and young adult novels. She sits at her computer every chance she gets, plotting revising, and falling in love with her characters. Sometimes it makes her a crazy person. Without it, she’d be even crazier. She has way too many shoes, but can always find a reason to buy a new pretty pair, especially if they’re sparkly, colorful, ...more
