Addison Murphy is the funny friend, the girl you grab a beer with—the girl voted most likely to start her own sweatshirt line. And now that one of her best guy friends is getting married, she’ll add “groomsman” to that list, too. She’ll get through this wedding if it’s the last thing she does. Just don’t ask her to dive for any bouquet.

I loved this book so much! It was such a fun, sweet Friends-to-More story and I couldn't get enough of it. Full review to come.

I received an advance reader copy of this book from Net Galley. This had no influence on my review.

Just One of the Groomsmen was my introduction to Cindi Madsen. This will definitely not be the last of her books that I read. Abbie and Tucker have been best friends since forever. Tucker is a lawyer in the big city. He became so wrapped up in his job and had no time for himself that he realized he wasn't happy. So, he took the plunge and quit his job and went back home to Uncertainty. That is wher

Addison is just one of the guys. Her best friends are all men and she enjoys soccer, football and poker nights. When one of the guys gets married he invites Addison to be a groomsmen.
Tucker is part of Addison's group of friends but has moved to the big city to become a lawyer. Before the wedding he decides to move back to town and finds himself having feelings for Addison. Will their love story affect their group of friends?

It’s been a while since I have read a book by Cindi Madsen. I can’t even remember why really. I think there were maybe one or two books of hers that weren’t my thing, so I just didn’t pick up her next release or something. I’m really regretting that decision right now.

The title and cover of Just One of the Groomsmen caught my eye and my attention. I was really curious what being “just one of the groomsmen”

Cindi Madsen's Just One of The Guys is the story of friends growing up in Uncertainty, a small Alabama town. When one of them decides to get married he asks his friends to be groomsmen, including Addison Murphy. One of the guys, Tucker Crawford has just returned to Uncertainty. As Addie tries to be part of the wedding and Tucker starts noticing that Addie isn't just a "guy" all kinds of alarms start going off in the close-knit town. Not only Addie and Tucker's personal alarms but those of the to ...more

I really enjoyed this story! Cindi Madsen is a new to me author & I will be reading more by her. I love her breezy way of writing & conveying emotion without being heavy handed. She managed to perfectly describe their bunch of friends & express the feelings of family that I sensed about them. It really illustrated the guilt they both felt about possibly crossing the line & if it would change the groups dynamics. What I loved the most was the relationship that developed between Le ...more

This friends to lovers romance has a cuteness about it, but the characters and their sassy attitudes gives it a little spunk. I loved the character Addie and how she was one of the guys, but deep down she still had the same emotional turmoil as girls everywhere. While playing a huge part in their little circle of friends, she still felt like the odd man out (being the only female in the group.) Tucker was sexy and sweet. Their transition from just friends to more was a sort of slow burn. Of cour ...more

This is a cute love story about a girl growing up in a small Alabama town, friends only with a rag-tag team of boys. Eventually, she realizes love has been staring at her for most of her life. The premise of the story is sweet, and the character progression in the story was well written. Both Addie and Tucker's characters are relatable and you find yourself cheering for them. This trope is my favorite, I really liked the characters, and I so wanted to love this book. However, I hate third person ...more

This is my first book by Cindi Madsen, and it definitely won’t be my last. Addie, Tucker, Shep, Easton and Ford have been friends for most of their lives in the little town of Uncertainty Alabama. When Shep calls an emergency meeting of his friends, he announces that he is getting married to his girlfriend sexy Lexi. He asks his friends to be his groomsmen, including just one of the guys Addie. While Addie prefers yoga pants and tennis shoes over a dress and heels, she agrees to be apart of her ...more

Addie has been one of the guys for as long as anyone can remember. However they are growing up and girlfriends are coming into the picture and she is having to realize that this isn't the norm and deal with the fallout. The first in their group pops the question and convinces his fiance to allow Addie to be a groomsman.

Not only is this change happening but also one the guys, Tucker is moving home and she starts to see him in a different light. He has always been the one she got into trouble wit

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received through NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own. This is the first time I've read anything by Cindi Madsen and it most certainly will not be the last. I absolutely love this friends to lovers book. I loved how Addie wasn't perfect, I loved that she was a tomboy and only girl in her small group of male friends and was happy with who she was, and she was perfect for Tucker. I loved the small town setting and all ...more

Addie is just one if the guys. She’s the only girl in their little group. She is not a girly girl and can get down and dirty with the rest of them. When one of her friends announces he’s getting married, he want them all to be his groomsmen. Even Addie but she’ll have to be on the bridesmaid side. Tucker is a lawyer a couple of hours away and he and Addie have been best friends since they were little. Now he’s quit his job and is moving back. Tucker starts noticing little things about Addie and ...more

This was a feel good friends to lovers, the growing up pain when things change and what to do about it. I loved the story, the commradery of all the "guys" and most of the events.
There was the emotional turmoil which got rather old after repeating a few times and it loses my interest when all the mind thoughts take over, getting nowhere, so I may have skipped a few pages, but that may be my impatience.
This was about Tucker and Addison as the mains, but had a lot of Shep and Lexi with their wedd

Addie/Murph is just one of the guys and now just one of the groomsmen. Always getting along best with her guy friends, Addie doesn't do the girlie girl stuff, no dresses for her. But when she's in one of her best friends weddings and thrown into a dress eyes are opened into the woman she is. Tucker has always loved Murph but when he sees her sexy legs it's a new version of Murph he isn't used to....Addie.

These friends are a great set that you fall for. They are close, supportive and hilarious.

I have never read a Cindi Madsen book, but this will not be my only one. I loved every minute of this fun story. The chemistry between Tucker and Addie had me not wanting to put the book down. I also loved the side cast of characters. This group of friends seems like a group I would love to have. Small town charm and lots of fun! I hope there are more books in this series because I would love to visit Uncertainty, Alabama again!

This book!! Wow!! This was such a fun, easy read. Addie has always been one of the guys, but when her best friend Tucker starts to see her in a different way, things get a little complicated.
If you are a fan of rom coms, then this book is for you! You will fall in love with the main characters and their small town of Uncertainty, Alabama.
I see many more books by Cindi Madsen in my future.

Addison and Tucker will delight you in this cute romantic read. Addison is a guy's kind of girl who'd rather be just one of the guys so when her best friend marries, she becomes one of the groomsmen. When Taylor returns home for the wedding he realizes that Addison is not the tomboy/girl he remembered. Things heat up between them and things get interesting. A cute romantic read that I read as an advance reader copy via Net Galley and voluntarily chose to review.

I really enjoyed this book, I loved the friendship between Addie and the guys but also felt her frustration of always being ‘one of the lads’ . Watching Tucker and Addie navigate their new feelings for each other was amusing, and the banter between them was at times funny but also sweet and loving. Will definitely read the rest of this series as I want to see the rest of the gang get their HEA

I absolutely loved this book! The chemistry was off the charts and the descriptive writing had me feeling like I was an actual part of the gang.

There was humor, drama and small town nostalgia that created the perfect backdrop to Tucker and Addie’s relationship! I highly recommend this standalone!

Ok. I liked the premise so much. I love the friends-to-lovers trope so much it’s one of my favorites. The only thing I really didn’t like was: “i’m not like other girls”, “i fight, play football, i coach football, idk about makeup”. Girl, go home.

Thank you NetGalley tough! Other than her attitude regarding girlhood, she was okay. I guess she grew :)

A sweet contemporary romance with a satisfying friends-to-lovers story. Addie is a small-town physical therapist who dreams of working with professional athletes. Tucker is a big-city lawyer who quits his high-pressure job and moves back to their southern town to plot his next move. Although they've been platonic best friends since high school, something changes this time when they're thrown together in a wedding party, and suddenly they're fighting mutual attraction. But getting together could ...more

Fantastic story! I loved how Cindi shows that women and guys can be close friends to the point of being family. There was just enough steamyness to keep it interesting.

Addie and Tucker aren't just best friends. They are part of a group of best friends, four men and Addie. Their friendship is wonderful, add in the relationship between Tucker and Addie. Now it's perfect.

Just One of The Groomsmen was sweet, but ultimately it felt forgettable. I liked the book fine, but I didn’t feel that there was anything that really stood out to me to help me remember it a month or two down the line.
The book is a friends to lovers story featuring Addison Murphy and one of her childhood best friends Tucker Crawford. Their romance was cute, however, I found it predictable. I also didn’t really feel any chemistry between the two of them reading this story.

This was the first book by Cindi Madsen that I have read, but it won't be the last. Tucker, Shep, Ford, Easton and Addie had been best friends forever. When Shep announces he is getting married and he wants everyone to be his groomsmen, everyone is thrilled, although Addie will have to stand with the bride, wear a dress and heels, something she detests. Tucker, who had left to work for a law firm in the city, realizes how much he is missing out on life, especially as he hates his job. Coming int ...more

Cindi Madsen is a USA Today Bestselling author of contemporary romance and young adult novels. She sits at her computer every chance she gets, plotting revising, and falling in love with her characters. Sometimes it makes her a crazy person. Without it, she’d be even crazier. She has way too many shoes, but can always find a reason to buy a new pretty pair, especially if they’re sparkly, colorful, ...more
