The first 2/3 of this book is focused on brief summaries of the major battles of the Peninsular War and the 100 days campaign. These summaries are a great introduction to the period from the British perspective. The remain 1/3 of the book comprises regimental summaries of each British unit that participated in either the Peninsular War or the 100 days campaign. This section is a little dry and really more of a reference section. The book includes lots of excellent art, in both black and white and full color, of the various battles. There is also a small color section of color uniform plates of various British units.
