Mother as I Saw Her

Rate this book
Mother as I Saw Her’ by Swami Saradeshananda is a book of reminiscences on Sri Sarada Devi, the Holy Mother, by one who had occasion to hear and see much of what he has recorded. Though there are many books now on the Holy Mother, both in English and in Indian languages, this small bunch of reminiscences has the virtue of revealing the very core of the unique personality of the Mother, and can therefore claim to be one of the original works of first rate authority and importance on her.Originally what was only a running narrative without any divisions, has been brought under a very large number of topical headings, which, it is hoped, has added to the readability of the whole series. We have also added as introduction, a somewhat detailed account of the Mother’s life for the better comprehension of the theme by readers who have not read any detailed biography of the Mother. As an Appendix we have given a short account presenting the bio-data of the Recorder, to whose profound memory and deep devotion to the Mother we owe these precious reminiscences.May the Great Mother Sri Sarada Devi shower her blessings on us all!

My daily guidance. Must read for everyone. Holy Mother's life is awe-inspiring. Enormous human potential especially when facing difficulties of life. Yet, promising and optimistic.
