This is a decent book for small kids about Mustangs. The photos are in full color, and are well done. They show Mustangs wild and domesticated. There are many different colors represented. They show the typical Mustang type and the Spanish type. They don't show the draft type. Nobody seems to know what to make of them.
There's also a short mention that Mustangs are still in danger, which was true when this was published in 2014 and is still true today. Nice touch, Pamela.
There's a good glossary in the back, with pronunciation guides. The lone website listed on the To Find Out More page still works. There's a nice chart of parts of a horse, using a photo of a smug-looking Mustang as reference.
